Thank you NetGalley for the free ARC of Truly, Madly, Deeply by Karen Kingsbury in exchange for my review. I really wanted to love this book. I would've settled for just liking it after a while, but I didn't. The religious parts of the book consumed a good part of the story and it wasn't just references, it was full out preaching and detracted from the story. I didn't enjoy the characters either. They were unbelievable. Sorry to say, I will not be recommending this book.

Karen Kingsbury does it again. Another great story that weaves in relationships and lots of lessons of trusting in God and his faithfulness. The story ended more abruptly than I expected and I wish there was a bit more. While it was a stand alone story it was helpful having read many of the stories about the Baxters beforehand as it gave me a deeper understanding of the characters knowing their background stories.

As a woman of strong faith myself, this book is all about trust and hope even when one doesn't understand the path that He had created. This book covers great hardships such as cancer, 9/11 and crime, but all characters remain in faith and surround themselves with love. Tommy and Annalee have a devoted relationship and they continued to show up and step.up even during times where at their age, it would be easiest to.walk. During these tough times, this book was a true beacon of light.

Karen Kingsbury has knocked another one out of the park! God has truly gifted her ability to take real life and weave a novel around it. I honestly can never get enough of the Baxters. Faith and cancer collide in this book. It’s about a love story between Tommy and Annalee. You will root for them all along the way. It’s also about the families who love them. Struggling with their faith makes this book honest on every level. I highly recommend it!!

I don’t know if words can express how beautiful this book is. Karen did it again with her passion, love, inspiration and beauty. She sees more beauty in those around than most people and her glass is definitely half full! This story is about Tommy Baxter. He is is Luke and Reagan’s son, all grown up...well finishing high school. He met the love of his life and tragedy strikes so hard it shook his faith, or maybe not. I loved Tommy’s strong faith even though it was challenged in many ways, but he stood firm in his faith. I saw one comment saying it is preechy and I don’t get that. It is a beautiful story of true to life events and placing your faith and trust in God, is this not why we read Christian fiction? I love Karen’s stance and including Bible, faith, love and so much more in her books. This is my honest opinion and honest review. If you want to be blessed read it If not go back to secular fiction cause this is what I want in my Christian fiction, life changing, hard issues addressed and turning to God. Thank you netgalley and the publishers for giving me this beautiful book to review!

Thank you net gallery for this book in exchange for an honest review. I love Karen Kingsbury and have read most of the books in the Baxter series. I didn’t love this one. My main problem with it was that it was so preachy. I don’t mind religious books but not when just about every page has me feeling like it’s being shoved down my throat. I ended up DNF it because I just couldn’t take it anymore. I really wanted to like this book because it sounded so good and Kingsbury writes great characters. I’m sure others will enjoy this book, it just wasn’t for me.

Karen Kingsbury has done it again. Another gripping, page-turner in the Baxter family series. This book was difficult to put down. The story line flows so fluidly. You truly feel like you are there watching the story unfold. I laughed, I cried, and I rejoiced along with the Baxter family and friends. This book is a must read!

I finished this book in a day, but then again that's how I mostly finish books. I have followed the Baxter family ever since I have read the Bridge. I have to admit that there are a few books I have missed in this series , but I hope to catch up soon. This book covers, child sex trafficking, which I didn't realize how serious it was until I read this book. it also talks about cancer, 9/11, and one person's dream of being a cop. I think alot of people don't realize how short life can be and how things can be easily taken for granted. I have no complaints about this book, I loved it and had tear in my eyes reading it. I am grateful that Netgalley let me read this in exchange for an honest review.

This is another Christian book in the Baxter Family series, and once again I am feeling like a part of the Baxter family, and thinking this is the best book in the series. The book touches on the aftermath of 9/11/2001 attacks on the United States, young love, a cancer diagnosis and a mother’s feelings when her son announces he plans to be a policeman. I could not put this book down because I had to know how it would end. The story is inspirational and moving, and I would recommend it to anyone. I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and Atria Books. All opinions expressed are my own.

Gosh! I can't say enough about how much I love this book! I think it is my favorite all of the Baxter books!

I started the book this morning and could not put it down! I just lived the characters of Tommy and Annie and the struggles that they go through throughout the book. I love how the author weaves in the characters from previous books as well!

I can't wait to be able to share the published book with family and friends when it comes out! Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the arc!

Love the continuing saga of the Baxter family. Karen Kingsbury allows us to relate when we have our doubts about God and to rejoice in his goodness.

Kingsbury has done it again. Her writing always pulls the reader in and makes them feel as if they are living the story with the rest of the characters. From the first sentence to the last word, the reader shares laughter, memories and tears. Read the entire book in one sitting as you are not able to put it down.

I've heard of Karen Kingsbury before, but this was the first book of hers I've read. I didn't realize it was going to be so focused on religion as the description doesn't allude to this at all. The characters were perfect with seemingly no faults and of course everything works out fine in the end. I can see someone like my grandma enjoying this squeaky clean story but it just wasn't my thing, though to be fair I probably wasn't the target demographic.

Also, did this remind anyone else very vaguely of A Walk to Remember? Maybe because they mention doing the school play together, the female lead being devoutly religious, etc.

Emotional book! It’s nice to read a book about a historical event that people haven’t tried to alter. This book has it all. Emotions. Sadness. Sickness. Joy. Surprises. I just can’t get enough of the Baxter family. Karen’s books are a nice distraction from the events in the world today.

Truly, Madly, Deeply by Karen Kingsbury. Religious theme is consistent throughout. Would have liked more details in the story line and characterizations.

Nineteen years later and after one Tuesday morning, the world was never the same. Karen Kingsbury's life-changing fiction leaves readers reexamining their lives.

Tommy Baxter's world crumbles with his high-school girlfriend's devastating diagnosis. Her fight for survival alongside his family's recent visit to the 9/11 Memorial leaves Tommy questioning his future. Veering from his Ivy-League track, he announces his plans of forgoing college to become a police officer.

While Tommy's plans are honorable, his mother, Reagan, is still grieving her father's death during the 9/11 attacks. Kingsbury expertly pens a story filled with heart, sacrifice and love that will leave readers falling "Truly, Madly and Deeply' in love with the characters.

Thank you to #NetGalley and the publisher for the advance copy in exchange for an honest review. I stayed awake into early hours of the morning just to finish as I couldn't wait to discover how it ended. I remember 9/11 like it was yesterday and those images are forever etched into my memory. While working in NYC, I was making my way into the city while across the river, I watched the Towers fall.

A woman started screaming that she worked in the World Trade Center but overslept. Living in New Jersey, I had the option of taking the Path Train that would have been hit if I’d taken the train instead. Split decisions alter our lives and leaves Kingsbury's characters questioning their choices.

Karen Kingsbury is one of my favorite authors and with each book, welcome readers back to the Baxter family. This book stands out above the others in its tackling of the aftermath of 9/11 and this generation's awareness of the tragedy. Tommy's stance to become a police officer is solidified after speaking with a firefighter at the Memorial. That brief encounter altered his perception of September 11th and his plans for the future.
