Loved this book. Helena is amazing at writing her characters so passionately and strong. This book gave you all the vibes and grabs your attention at the beginning.

Witty writing (which I feel is hard to pull off) is a given from Helena Hunting. This was just a preview but I will definitely be reading the complete book when available. Highly recommend!

I got a sample of Kiss my Cupcake by Helena Hunting through Netgalley several months ago. Unfortunately I didn’t realize it was a sample until after I started ... then had to wait for my library hold.

Blaire is following her dreams and finally opening a cupcake shop of her own, without her families help. Ronan is revamping and saving his grandparents beloved bar. Their first meeting as neighbors doesn’t start off on good terms, but that doesn’t mean they don’t notice each other.

Ronan decides to open his bar the same day as Blaire’s cupcake shop, and despite having completely different concepts, Blare is furious. After the opening they find themselves constantly competing for clients they both desperately need in order to keep their doors open. But once they find out a new chain store is opening on the street they decide to band together to help each other out.

Kiss My Cupcake was a cute, enemies to frenemies to lovers book. I loved all the crazy family characters (I was cracking up they were so wild) and adored Ronan’s grandfather. There is definitely some steam but after reading some of Hunting’s other books I thought there might be more.

This book had me craving a cupcake, which I didn’t have. But I did have an oatmeal cookie sandwich, which was pretty amazing.

I have loved Helena Hunting's rom-coms for years and after reading this preview I am super excited to get my hands on the full book!

This preview included the first four chapters of KISS MY CUPCAKE by Helena Hunting. It was a fun read and I'm certainly intrigued by the characters and the premise. I'm a huge fan of the small business aspect and was thrilled to see social media play a role in the story!

I liked this preview but I didn't feel anything special that really makes me wanna buy the full book. It seems like a typical chick-lit romance.

So we met Ronan in Helena’s previous series so I was excited to get to know him! This book did not disappoint! I’m not typically a standalone type of gal, but I felt this book wrapped up nicely in the end. I can only hope this place is real because both Blaire and Ronan’s shops sounded like so much fun to see in person. Helena always does a great job of describing the locations and settings. Overall, such a great book and I was happy to read the preview here before purchasing. Thank you!

Great book! I love the tropes that are involved but they aren't too overdone! I also enjoyed the characters having their own occupations but they were in a similar industry which brought an authentic rivalry.

A great preview! It made me want to read more of the book. The author was able to set up a few scenes, characters, backstory, and chemistry within a short amount of pages. I think it will be a good story!

Blaire and Ronan kinda have the same goal: help their respective businesses off the ground and running, have a steady flow of buyers coming into their shops. The biggest problem? They're neighbours, and similarly trying to open on the same day, with a bit of alcohol luring the customers into their lairs. And so the war begins. And you know what they about wars. All is fair in love and war.

Blaire and Ronan have the perfect chemistry that you can’t help rooting for them; that is after you’re done laughing out loud over their ridiculous rivalry. By the fourth chapter I was hooked and had to buy the book to see how it ended.

Like any Hellen Hunting this book qas a gem! Her writing style is hilarious and she absolutely keeps the reader engaged!

How could I not purchase the full book after reading this teaser?! Spoiler! I hade to read the whole thing!
