This novel was so fresh, fun and cute. The characters are a vampire and a werewolf who fall in love and enjoy their lifes, because they know how it feels to be a monster. From the first moment they connected and so did i, from the start i got attracted by the protagonist, she is badass, sassy and cool, i really liked her outfits!! 🧛🏻♀️
The author makes you feel happy all the time with their inside jokes, the romance and i think the best part was the Twilight references. 🐺
I loved this novel: 5/5🌟
I really recommend it and i hope you guys enjoy it💕

This little comic is exactly what it says it is: a romance between a vampire and a werewolf.
Although I thought the premise sounded incredibly appealing and the cover was promising, I found this to be very disappointing. Instead of a plot, this seemed more like a few disjointed scenes featuring two lovers. No characterization was present except for some stereotypical vampire-ness. It was way too short for anything to be accomplished.
I certainly wouldn’t say Fangs was terrible though. The illustrations were great and I loved the humor. But it felt was too short and underdeveloped to be considered an entire graphic novel. I also would have appreciated a more unique, creative approach to these supernatural elements. I would still want to read more from Sarah Anderson in the future! Definitely some great potential here.

I adore Sarah Scribbles so I was very intrigued to pick this up, and I'm so glad I did. I was surprised to find this nothing like her previous work that I've seen, and even more surprised to find that I loved it even more. This story follows the romance between a vampire and a werewolf, told through little snippets of day-to-day life. I found myself laughing the whole way through. The romance was so heart-warming and I found myself instantly attached to the characters. A super sweet and fun read, I highly recommend!

I have always love Sarah's art (bit fan of her Sarah's Scribbles comic) so I was super stoked when I saw an e-galley of Fangs available to read on netgalley! I have seen a few of them before since she posted them on social media but seeing them all together was cool. I do feel like some of them are random, there isn't a super flow between all the comics but I still enjoyed it. Her humor is great and I enjoy the art as well, and the concept was super cute. A fun quick and light hearted read.

Fangs is short collection of slice-of-life style comics by Sarah Anderson Fangs was a collection of short clips. Each page was in an episodic format, it followed the daily life of two completely opposite people coming together by a mutual understanding of each other. Since elsie being a vampire she is nocturnal and then Jimmy being a werewolf he followed the sun, the dark humor throughout the graphic novel was just the right amount to make the book balanced while staying true to the characters. Definitely love the art style and would recommend to anyone who needs a quick giggle here and there.

Fangs is a delightful and entertaining graphic novel chronicling short comics of the relationship between a vampire and a warewolf. The relationship between Elsie and Jimmy is so endearing; Anderson’s illustrations and comedic beats come together so well with the individual quirks of these characters. I especially love the communication that’s shown in their relationship, which is hard to convey in page-long comics that hurry to get to the punchline. Sarah Anderson made me feel something for these characters in such a short time. I can’t wait to see more of these two!!

This is an adorable comic about the romantic relationship between a vampire and a werewolf. Yes, it's as funny and odd as it sounds. Need a little pick-me-up reading? This one would do the trick.

A new Sarah Andersen book that's so different from her scribbles books and it's so good!
This is the sweet and quirky love story of a vampire and a werewolf, and the struggles of their being and the humor in their everyday life. It warmed my heart and every comic strip made smile and/or go "awww". I loved it so so much and I'd highly recommend it! It's only con was that it's short and I wanted more.
I thank Netgalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for the digital ARC.

Thanks to the publishers for sharing this one. It's different from Sarah Andersen's previous work, but I loved it because it's just so darn cute! My full review appears on Weekend Notes.

I love all of Sarah Andersen's prior books, so when I saw Fangs on NetGalley I jumped at the chance to read it. It definitely takes a different direction from her other works but it is witty and so much fun. It was a quick read and my only criticism is that it isn't longer.

Very different from Sarah Andersen’s previous books. The art is more detailed and the tone is more serious. Hilarious but in a more dark comedy way.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an e-arc of this book! My opinions are my own.
I've been a fan of Sarah's Scribbles for years now so I was very excited to read this new collection of comics! It's a little different than her earlier work, focusing now on the romance between a vampire and a werewolf.
I loved the drawing style, it really fits with what the artist is trying to say. There were some great cartoons in this book, but I was a little disappointed that, although there was a chronological order, there wasn't a deeper story behind it. I'd certainly like to read more comics about Vamp & Jimmy though, I'd like to know more about them!

This is a cute compilation of comics. However it is definitely a what you see is what you get kind of book. I would have loved for it to be longer, and have a more fleshed out story. It’s cute as a little compendium of instagram posts, but I would definitely have preferred a full story. The cover is gorgeous and some of the illustrations are extremely striking.

First of all, I would like to thank you for the eARC of this book which was kindly provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I saw the cover and I was straight away intrigued! Who does not like vampires! It is a webcomic about the relationship between Vampire and Werewolf. It is a cute and funny story with nice artwork.

Elsie has been a vampire for hundreds of years, but she’s never dated anyone like Jimmy, a werewolf. Of course, they have to adjust to each other’s schedules: she’s nocturnal (and direct sunlight makes her burst into flames), and he turns into a wolf every full moon. And while she’s a vegan vampire (only stealing blood from blood banks, and occasionally snacking on Jimmy), it’s not unheard of for their home to be filled with bloody paw prints and a half-devoured animal carcass: good thing Elsie’s a dog person.
As the two get to know each other better and learn about each other’s quirks, they find that they have a lot in common: Elsie and Jimmy both love taking walks (especially when the moon is full); sharing kisses (unless he’s just eaten garlic), and watching fun, lighthearted movies like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This collection will appeal to fans of Andersen’s Sarah’s Scribbles comics, but it’s also a fantastic supernatural romantic comedy.

This was so random, not kidding.
It tells the story of a vampire and warewolf in love and it's filled with all the cliches regarding them that you can think of 😂
I didn't even like it, neither did I dislike it. It was just okay - pretty basic and there was literally nothing unique about it. And it wasn't even coherent, for one. But was it fun? Yeah.
As I said, very random but also kinda fun!

Loved all of the Sarah's Scribbles collection, so although I don't often read graphic novels I had to give this a go!
Silly, lighthearted comedy as an odd vampire girl tries to navigate the world of dating - such as trying to get ready without seeing your own reflection, and beginnning a relationship with a somewhat awkward werewolf. This is oddly charming, albeit a bit short!
P.s the pro/con list to date him or to eat him and bloodsicles cracked me up!

Fangs é uma história extremamente divertida e fofa de um relacionamento entre uma vampira e um lobisomem.
As artes criadas pela autora são ótimos, além, claro, do roteiro. A leitura flui fácil e rapidamente. Mesmo com um inglês não muito desenvolvido, consegui acompanhar a história entendendo todos os trechos do livro.
Esse é um livro bem leve, que me proporcionou uma adorável leitura!

A love story between a vampire and a werewolf.
They are really cute with a lot of inside jokes and I think the story hints at the compatibility and tolerance that naturally follows love.
The drawings were also catchy and the book easy to read.
I’m glad I downloaded this on NetGalley on the whim

Well, this was bloody adorable! (Heh.. heh.. pun intended) I wasn't overly familiar to this artist prior to being urged to read it by my husband. I'm a huge vampire fan, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a lifestyle, and this graphic novel was the perfect amount of cheesy nostalgia with modern jokes.
Firstly, the artwork was incredibly cute. I had to fight the urge to screenshot so many funny sections to send to people. It had the perfect amount of cutesy while still staying in the almost gothic-like feel.
I wasn't expecting the script to be as humorous as the drawings, but here we are. I laughed a lot, especially as the writer really took advantage of every dog-like pun possible. Jimmy and Elise were perfect together, and this is now a ship I will go down on.
Thank you to #NetGalley for the ARC.
