Fangs is a graphic novel that revolves around an everyday not so “usual” relationship between Elsie, a vampire and Jimmy, a werewolf.
I absolutely loved this graphic novel from beginning to end. There were multiple times I laughed out loud and finally my husband was so curious that we ended up reading it together. The humor throughout was right up my alley. It was such a fun read and I would definitely recommend it!
I want to thank NetGalley, the author and publisher for the e-ARC of this graphic novel. Opinions expressed in this review are honest, my own and left voluntarily.

I loved this! I've been following the webcomic very casually and always loved it when it popped up on my radar. This collection was so fun, and I loved seeing all of them together. I had read some of them before, but that didn't detract from my enjoyment of it at all. I'll happily read more of these when they're out!

Have been a fan of Andersen's for a while and was really cool to see a different side of her illustration in this collection. Very funny and sweet snippets. If i could get my hands on prints of some of these pages I would decorate my wall with them in a heartbeat haha, loved it!

Sarah Andersen shows off her creative wit in this short and sweet comic about a couple where one is a werewolf and one is a vampire. A lot of the short panels offer cute jokes about both relationships and also the supernatural. The comics were very easy to read. They are good to read either on their own or all together. This is great for fans of webcomics and Andersen's other works.

This was so cute! I loved the little snippets into the lives of the Vamp and Werewolf and how they all translated into a seamless short story. The artwork is really simple but stunning. If you want a quick, sweet but bloody graphic novel to pick this up!

I got an ARC of this book.
I am a fan of Anderson. I enjoy seeing her comics. I had started seeing bits of pieces of this on the meme app I have. The problem is, the pictures I saw pretty much were the best this book had to offer.
The art is wonderful. I really liked how it was a drastically different art style than I was used to seeing for Anderson. It made it feel like a new story and like its own world. I was impressed with just how different the humor and the art was. If this was based just on art, then the rating would be five stars.
The story itself was pretty nonexistent. There were a few pages setting up that they met and got together, but I didn’t see how they got together. The rest is just slice of life pages, nothing all that compelling or interesting. There was no plot, no deeper meanings, nothing really all that griping. There were some really good vampire and werewolf jokes, but I was expecting more.
It was sweet and as wholesome as a vampire/werewolf relationship can be. So it isn’t bad. If you are a fan of Anderson, this is worth reading. Just don’t go into this expecting a story. This is still very much just random comics that tell a very loose story. I wanted and expected more which is why I was let down. This could have been so amazing and if you go in expecting it to be what it is instead of what I did, you will probably love it.

Fangs, by Sarah Andersen, is an absolute treat and good soul food even when you are feeling soulless. It features a relationship between a vampire and a werewolf, and somehow avoids all the clichés, leaning more on the day-to-day details of their life together, and their past scars that their acceptance of each other is starting to heal. It is truly one of those books that anyone from 12 to 100 (or 300!) will appreciate.
If you've caught up with for free Fangs on Tapas, the physical copy has 24+ illustrations and a beautiful blood-red cover with black-etched pages, and it looks stunning.

I am a fan of Sarah Andersen’s other works and this one does not disappoint! Fangs is such a cute little graphic novel. As I’m sure most people know this graphic novel is about a werewolf and a vampire falling in love and their relationship. The artwork is really well done and the stories are so heartwarming; though that is not to say that there are not dark humored parts, I mean, it is about a werewolf and a vampire. Some of the panels are a bit cheesy with some stereotypical jokes that one would think these creatures would make, but it is all in good fun. If you are like me, it makes the book even more enjoyable. I definitely recommend picking this one up if you are looking for an entertaining read with some great artwork! Fangs is a short graphic novel following the relationship/romance between a vampire and a werewolf. It is meant to be humorous and fairly light hearted.
Going in, I’d expected something of a coherent story. Instead, every new page of story jumps to a seperate day in the characters’ lives. Normally I wouldn’t mind time skips like this, though things move so quickly that I held no attachment to either protagonist. There is little to no development and I could hardly get a feel for the characters at all.
This may have been the intention as Fangs is a humour based graphic novel, though even that aspect fell flat for me. A series of one liners and quick wit was not able to land well, as every joke was based off of the characters’ vampirism and werewolf side rather than their actual personalities.
In short, there wasn’t much that was creative or unique about this, and the art style wasn’t as refined as I would have preferred. A splash of colour in the drawings could have done wonders, though I understand why a horror-esque themed story might be in black and white.

Thank you so much NetGalley for providing me with this copy of Fangs!
I started reading Fangs on Tapas and I immediately fell in love with Elsie and Jimmy. Sarah Anderson’s art style is adorable and the relationship between the characters was really pure and lovely. It was a very enjoyable and funny reading for me. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants to spend a good time.

A sweet and playful slice-of-life look at the relationship between a female vampire and a male werewolf. Illustrated in horror-appropriate graphic, black-and-white line art and filled with vampire and werewolf puns, jokes, and visual gags.

Short graphic novel/comic about a vampire and a werewolf falling in love. Though the story is short I loved the characters and their relationship. I look forward to seeing more from this author.

It was a cute romance story about a vampire and a werewolf falling in love. It's an overview of a new relationship, when one gets to know the qualitities and flaws of the other, through the lense of supernatural creatures.

So I got this because I seen few people talk about it and thanks to Netgalley I got a ARC and OMGGG IT WAS SO FREAKIN CUTE!!! i love this adorable couple i smiled and laughed on how their relationship worked. Who said a vamp and a wearwolf can't date.
<B>"Whats your favorite position."
"Elsie."
"Is it.. doggy?"
"STOP!" </B> 🤣🤣🤣🤣 the little puns are fking cute!!

I didn't know this was by the same author of Sarah's Scribbles, although it makes a lot of sense after reading it. The art is much better, and the stories are a bit better than the simple "Haha I wear baggy clothes", but the humor is still more or less the same.
It's an improvement and I appreciate it's originality, but in the end, it suffers the same problem: it's short and yet it manages to be repetitive.

This book is much more than adorable!
How can the relationship between werewolf and vampire be so cute. I can't imagine how much I love this book. It's not just the love story with couples in their daily life. It's about unconditional love of embracing everything and who the mate truly is. Even though they are two different kinds of the supernatural creatures, they still enjoy spending time together and trying to make each other to be themselves more comfortably.
Moreover, the humor in "Fangs" brings lots of joy. With the elements of cute couples and interesting storyline, I can't even stop reading this book. While I'd finished it, I felt that the story is too short. I NEED MORE STORY!!!!! Hope that there will be the sequel in the future.

I love Sarah's Scribbles and while this isn't that, Andersen's take on a vampire/werewolf romance is just as delightful. Fans of her work will gobble this up as well!

4.25 stars!
This fluffy love story between a werewolf and a vampire melted my heart like hot chocolate 😍 Meet Elsie and Jimmy, a gothy vamp girl and a soft wolf boy, both of who helplessly fell in love with each other. Dating could be a problem and living together was never easy, but ya know what they said, love conquers all and blahblahblah. Enjoy this super cute love journal of the paranormal couple along with the beautiful art style ❤️👍

This is so freaking cute!
Quite a different style to the Sarah’s Scribbles comics but the humour is pretty close. Sweet and cute but a touch dark at times. The comic chronicles small moments in the relationship between a vampire and a werewolf playing on several horror and romance tropes. It’s a very quick read but oh, so sweet and fun.

a really cute graphic novel. about the love between a vampire and a werewolf. it's a breath of fresh air, and a really light read, but it also brings to attention the importance of being yourself in a realtionship, or like Yalom said it in "When Nietzsche wept": "I should have become an "I" before I became a "we"". these two characters are exactly that, completely themeselves and completely different, but somehow they make it work.
