It was a cute romance story about a vampire and a werewolf falling in love. It's an overview of a new relationship, when one gets to know the qualitities and flaws of the other, through the lense of supernatural creatures.
So I got this because I seen few people talk about it and thanks to Netgalley I got a ARC and OMGGG IT WAS SO FREAKIN CUTE!!! i love this adorable couple i smiled and laughed on how their relationship worked. Who said a vamp and a wearwolf can't date.
<B>"Whats your favorite position."
"Elsie."
"Is it.. doggy?"
"STOP!" </B> 🤣🤣🤣🤣 the little puns are fking cute!!
I didn't know this was by the same author of Sarah's Scribbles, although it makes a lot of sense after reading it. The art is much better, and the stories are a bit better than the simple "Haha I wear baggy clothes", but the humor is still more or less the same.
It's an improvement and I appreciate it's originality, but in the end, it suffers the same problem: it's short and yet it manages to be repetitive.
This book is much more than adorable!
How can the relationship between werewolf and vampire be so cute. I can't imagine how much I love this book. It's not just the love story with couples in their daily life. It's about unconditional love of embracing everything and who the mate truly is. Even though they are two different kinds of the supernatural creatures, they still enjoy spending time together and trying to make each other to be themselves more comfortably.
Moreover, the humor in "Fangs" brings lots of joy. With the elements of cute couples and interesting storyline, I can't even stop reading this book. While I'd finished it, I felt that the story is too short. I NEED MORE STORY!!!!! Hope that there will be the sequel in the future.
I love Sarah's Scribbles and while this isn't that, Andersen's take on a vampire/werewolf romance is just as delightful. Fans of her work will gobble this up as well!
4.25 stars!
This fluffy love story between a werewolf and a vampire melted my heart like hot chocolate 😍 Meet Elsie and Jimmy, a gothy vamp girl and a soft wolf boy, both of who helplessly fell in love with each other. Dating could be a problem and living together was never easy, but ya know what they said, love conquers all and blahblahblah. Enjoy this super cute love journal of the paranormal couple along with the beautiful art style ❤️👍
This is so freaking cute!
Quite a different style to the Sarah’s Scribbles comics but the humour is pretty close. Sweet and cute but a touch dark at times. The comic chronicles small moments in the relationship between a vampire and a werewolf playing on several horror and romance tropes. It’s a very quick read but oh, so sweet and fun.
a really cute graphic novel. about the love between a vampire and a werewolf. it's a breath of fresh air, and a really light read, but it also brings to attention the importance of being yourself in a realtionship, or like Yalom said it in "When Nietzsche wept": "I should have become an "I" before I became a "we"". these two characters are exactly that, completely themeselves and completely different, but somehow they make it work.
Sarah Andersen turns the page from her Scribbles to a love story between a vampire and a warewolf. It was quite cute and funny, with nice drawings and dry black humor. Perfect for a 30 minutes reading.
This is a cute and quirky story about a 300-year-old vampire (in a 26-year-old's body) falling in love with a werewolf. It's told in simple comics with a sort-of snapshot feel; each page is a different scene in the couple's life rather than one cohesive and chronological story. This way of story-telling results in a LOT of cute werewolf and vampire puns. I thought a lot of the dialogue and puns were pretty funny (especially the ones where Jimmy, the werewolf boyfriend, acted very much like a dog and chased squirrels, hated the mailmen, loved getting his ears scratched, etc.), but some of the vampire humor tried to be a little too dark, dry, and "quirky" ("We should have a baby." "For dinner?") for my personal tastes. Overall, this was a fun and quick read, and I definitely recommend if you love (sometimes dark) puns and cute but silly love stories. The fact that each page is basically a different pun would make this a great coffee table book for any vampire lover.
I really enjoyed Fangs. As a fan of Sarah Anderson, I really like how she stepped out of her normal to create this vampire/werewolf love story. The art s beautiful and the story arcs are both funny and poignant.
I would recommend to all my friends.
Fangs is an imaginative and well-drawn fantasy graphic novel that is also an entertaining reading experience. Highly recommended for young adults who are like the supernatural -- or who, perhaps, haven't found the "just right" book yet. Another wonderful work from a publisher that shares amazing comics.
A beautiful modern love story between a 300 year old vampire and a werewolf. The illustrations are gorgeously simple. The story really captures the essence of romance beyond the grand gestures of first love and to the intimate day-to-day moments like morning coffee, snuggling in front of a movie, and walking around the neighborhood.
I truly enjoyed it and it's packaged so nicely, it would make a beautiful gift for that goth friend who likes manga, vampires, and a bit of romance.

I really like this comic, I love the characters and the art style is always amazing. So many of these could become my phone screen!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is such a nice collections of comics. It was also a very fast read. I wish Sarah would continue to write this.
This is such a departure from Sarah's other books (such as Adulthood is a Myth and Herding Cats) and yet it has in common the fact that this is an incredibly quick read, very sparse and--even though we are now reading about a vampire and a werewolf, still incredibly funny.
Also in common: It's incredibly disjointed. We get single images sometimes that could be fleshed out into a whole sequence, and ends up being more of a teaser of a moment than a story in and of itself.
I've seen some people really appreciating this style of art. And, really, I'm not saying that I didn't. These comics were the visual equivalent of written vignettes that have a great amount of reread value and are sure to stay in the imagination afterwards.
This comic is very short but it's such a good time. It's adorable and humorous. I don't think anybody would dislike it. There is not much of story line. Instead we just get a bunch of random scenes from a day to day life of a vampire/werewolf couple. I honestly have nothing bad to say about it aside from it being too short! Highly recommend to anybody.
Obsessed. From the illustrations to the dark humor, everything about this is amazing. Aside from that it tackles a few areas like dating the opposite personality and fighting social stigma.
Beware! A goth vampire girl meets a bearded werewolf guy! Together they'll have a heartwarming and a bit bloody romance!
Being a follower Sarah Andersen strips I couldn't miss Fangs. This story is everything you can wish for. It's cute, funny, and makes your heart beat faster. It strongly reminds me of the romantic yonkomas portraying the everyday life of the quite unusual pair in a charming way.
Some pages actualize old vampire/werewolf jokes, some are rather sexy, and others are just so adorable that I can't help but exclaim 'Ooooh!'
Jimmy. I love you forever. And me... I know "forever".
I've received an eARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I am a fan of Sarah's Scribbles. I thought this book would be a big departure from the author's usual work, but she kept a lot of the same themes and the wry humor that I enjoy. The vampire and werewolf idea worked well with her storytelling.
