A cute and funny love story between a vampire and a werewolf.
A short read but a welcomed distraction from reality.
I liked the illustrations and humour and, once again, Sarah didn't disappoint.
Thank you to NetGalley for the eARC.

This was very sweet and completely won me over. It is done in the style of newspaper comics, which I didn't think I would like but it was actually pretty great. Each page is like a quick snapshot of their life. It is filled with cliches about vampires and werewolves but they take those tropes and make them into cute little jokes and moments. This will be perfect for teens who love the paranormal.

Jimmy is a werewolf and Elsie is a vampire. One night they meet at a club and soon they are dating, moving in together and falling in love. But what is life together like for a vampire/werewolf couple?
This is such a cute book. It is humorous, engaging and really entertaining. The artwork is fab with clear drawings, accomapnied by a quirky dialogue as we explore the love between this very odd couple.
I loved this and now I want a printed copy of my own. It is the kind of story that gives you fuzzy feelings even though the couple are not really fuzzy, cuddly characters. Jimmy might be fuzzy once a month but both of them bite!
The story telling is quite simple because this is a comic strip but it is hilarious as we see how the two of them love and live. One becomes a wolf and the other sleeps in a coffin. One chases after squirrels and the other is invisible in selfies etc. All these quirks and characteristics are brought together and portrayed through lovely artwork. A great gift for quirky friends and unlikely couples or for anyone who likes vampires or werewolves.

Are you a fan of Sarah's Scribbles? If so, then you should be checking out Sarah Anderson's latest piece of work; Fangs. First released on Tapas, it's the story of a vampire and a werewolf falling for each other and dating.
It is every bit as chaotic and entertaining as you might expect. Their entire relationship is told through a series of short panels. If you read the story on Tapas, you received segments on a regular basis. But if you're reading this collection, you get them all at once (along with several bonus panels).
Fangs is adorable and endearing in the best of ways. Fans of Sarah Scribbles will surely enjoy every moment of it – as will any new fans. Especially those that are fond of vampire and werewolves acting cute and irreverent.
This is a collection full of sweet moments – and dark humor. It's a perfect combination if you ask me, but then I've always been a fan of things like this. There are a lot of tongue in cheek moments – teasing at the expense of pop culture and the like. It's funny and entertaining. In short, it is everything that I was hoping to see from Sarah Anderson.
The artwork is different from Anderson's usual style. The characters could not, in any form, be described as scribbles. Now they're more accurately drawn, with better proportions and more details throughout. The choice to change styles here was a smart one, making her series distinct. It also suits the material better.

absolutely love this graphic novel not only is it funny but it's off so sweet. It is about a vampire woman and a werewolf man and their relationship.

"Elsie: Did you ever date another werewolf?
Jimmy: Yes, cute girl, but could turn into a real bitch.
Elsie: ...
Elsie: Clever
Jimmy: And did you ever date a vampire?
Elsie: Yeah!
Elsie: He sucked."
Thank you NetGalley and Andrews McMeel for providing me with an e-arc.
Elsie is a three hundred years old vampire and in all that time she has never met her match. Until one day, she meets Jimmy, a charming werewolf in a pub and makes an instant connection. Consisting of comics exploring their relationship with puns and humour that is "oh, so adorable!", 'Fangs' is a wholesome collection of comics about meeting someone best suited for you but also vastly different!
I cannot stress enough on how much I enjoyed this! The entire collection is such gem filled with humour and puns. Some are cheesy & cute and some are brilliant- either way, they had me laughing out loud. It was a heartwarmingly adorable read and I want more of Elsie and Jimmy! This read was so quick that I am deep in wells of despair because I didn't want it to end with Elsie and Jimmy. I don't think I will ever get enough of Elsie and Jimmy now that I have gotten a part of them.
I will be recommending this to everyone I know!

This a cute and cheeky collection of comics. Although most of the individual comics are based on cliches of vampires and werewolves, it will still give you a chuckle. I do wish the book was a bit longer and with a cohesive storyline rather than random comics on each page.

well the cover was so beautiful so i decided to downloaded it on a whim from Netgalley . i did not realize it was by sarah scribbles or should i say Sarah Andersen, she is the reason i'm in love with Graphic novels. It is a short and adorable love story between and Vampire and a Werewolf. short and sweet.
If you like graphic novels it is must. <3

"Fangs" is a super cute collection of short comics telling the love story of a vampire and a werewolf.
Each of the comics is usually on one page and told in 1-4 panels only, but in these litle pieces you get small glimpses into their lifes. The humor is macabre and a bit dark, and in its combination with the romance, it's hilarious. I love Sarah's Scribbles and can relate to most of them because of my own derpiness, so it's no wonder I enjoyed this as well. The art style is a bit different than the Scribbles, but I loved the more classic approach, as it fit the gothic/paranormal theme very well while still being adorable and fun.
I read it in one sitting and it didn't take long at all, but it very successfully made my smile and swoon and laugh. I don't really have a lot of criticism other than that the jokes or puns were a bit predictable sometimes, but that didn't bother me too much.
If you want to check out a few of the panels before committing to the whole book, you can check them out on Sarah Andersen's instagram page, that's where I found them first.

I completely loved this book. I can't express with words how funny and smart it is! This is such an amazing and refreshing way of talking about vampires and werewolves. Rating: 4/5 stars.

Elsie’s a vampire and Jimmy’s a werewolf and they’re girlfriend and boyfriend and hilarity ensues and waffle waffle…
Sarah Andersen moves away from her Sarah’s Scribbles gag strips to produce… basically the same thing albeit with less cartoony art and centred around vampire/werewolf tropes.
What’s your type? Elsie asks. Blood type that is!
… ugh…
Did you ever date another werewolf?
Yes, cute girl, but could turn into a real bitch.
And did you ever date a vampire?
Yeah! He sucked.
HAR DE HAR HAR!!1
Werewolves are like dogs - look, Jimmy hates the postman ‘cos he’s a werewolf and that’s like a dog and arhharhgh… He chases squirrels, she takes a selfie but she’s a vampire so she’s invisible. Sunlight, silver, blood… all the expected bullshit is here.
Your mileage will vary depending on your sense of humour but I found Fangs to be full of really obvious, predictable, unoriginal, unfunny, tedious, vapid, banal, and self-satisfied easy “jokes”. I was bored from start to finish but I can see plenty of people raving about her strips because they seem designed for the social media crowd who consider looking at Instagram “reading”.
If you thought her last Sarah’s Scribbles book was bad, Sarah Andersen hasn’t improved now that she’s decided to write for the Twilight crowd. Fangs but no fangs, Sarah.

This was an adorable comic, showcasing the romantic relationship between a vampire Elsie and a werewolf Jimmy. I've been following it from the first chapter while it was posted weekly on Tapas, and it's so cute and funny. The illustrations are nice and while this was a drastic departure from Sarah's previous comic collection, I think it was a successful one. I'd gladly read more of this.

Utterly charming! I loved the sweet relationship between the two main characters. A quick, fun read.

Sarah Anderson's Fangs is a sometimes sweet, sometimes creepy romance comic about a modern day werewolf who falls in love with an ancient vampire. The plot is minimal (a basic story arc covering the first meet cute -- or should I say meatcute? -- to their eventual cohabitation) but it's nonetheless compelling and entertaining. Morbid jokes about murder appear regularly, so this book might be better suited to more mature readers.

I was so incredibly delighted to receive a review copy of Fangs from NetGalley and Andrews McMell Publishing!
If you don’t know by now this is the newest project of Sarah Anderson the brilliant author of Sarah’s Scribbles and it is AMAZING.
I have been following Fangs from the beginning and knew early that this would become one of my favourite comics series ever. With very little said Sarah manages to make these characters come alive (er, undead) on the page. I quickly fell head over heels for Elsie and Jimmy. The comics follow their sweet love story with lots of hilarious dark humour that SANG to the weird little nerd girl in my heart who used to write bad stories about vampires and werewolves.
I’ve already preordered a hardback copy for myself and my sister-in-law who I know will love this series just as much as I do. This is something that I will want forever.
Recommended to everyone but especially to the ones who may have been a little over zealous with the black eyeliner at any point in their life.

* I received a free eARC from the publisher via Netgalley. Everything in this review is my honest opinion.
This was SO adorable! I usually love Sarah Andersen's books and this one was no exception! The comics are cute with punny punch lines. The cheese was piled rather high but that was of no concern to me. The artwork is cutesy and simple which I recognize as Sarah's work. It was a really cute book with adorable situations and quite a few memorable moments. If you're looking for a book to pass the time and be entertained by this is the book for you!

Beautiful. Sarah Andersen's comics always make me smile. This one was very sweet too. It was a quick and light read. I especially loved the dark humour and drawings.
I got an e-ARC on NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I adore Sarah Anderson's comics and this series is just funny and adorable. A series of vignette moments in the relationship between a werewolf and a vampire. There is no cohesion between each comic. They are just little snapshots into a quirky, supernatural relationship.

Okay, first off all:
it' too short?? I laughed and grinned through 85% of the comics, and when I reached the end I couldn't believe I was already through.
It's a light read for dark days, for sure. The humor in this is just charming and wholesome.
The drawing style fits well for the narration and the pointe is well delivered for all the comic strips.
I hope that Ms. Andersen is working on a second volume of this, maybe with a new monster couple?
And because I liked this so much, I've already pre-ordered my hardcover copy!

This book was the ultimate feel-warm-inside book for me! As a fantasy lover & hopeless romantic, seeing these mundane acts of love between a vampire and werewolf was everything I could ask for. The drawing style was simple yet adorable and it made me believe in love once again. Also, as a chaotic bisexual, I fell in love with both of the characters. Like, head over heels in love with them <3
I’ve been a fan of Sarah Anderson and her work for years. I remember when she first started drawing dem super relatable and funny comics (Sarah’s scribbles) and how it evolved into the phenomena they are today. I’ve literally witnessed how her work evolved and her art style fine-tuned. It was a privilege to see her try her hand at a new style and excel at it so wonderfully. Can’t wait to see more from her, she makes me happy :)
