Sometimes I'm not sure where to draw the line between a 4 and 5 star book. I think it can be tricky to figure out what you think is really good, and what you think is wonderful. After careful consideration, I'm sure this book is wonderful -- especially because I can freely say I would love to see more of these characters, and would definitely read any sequel that might be inspired by the charming couple of Fangs. Vampire and Werewolf romance? Naturally! Yes please! Fangs has a strong current of humor and is sexy in a cheeky way. It's mostly 4-panel and single panel comics featuring a charming Werewolf-Vamp couple who are the supernatural equivalent of the "Dog-Cat" personality type relationship. I adored it.

Andersen has always been great in the way she writes characters. This time is no different. The relationship is cute, the art fantastic, story well written.

Fangs is a really cute kind of slice of life short graphic novel that follows the relationship between a vampire and a werewolf like I said it is a really cute and really enjoyed the interactions between the characters following their life together. It sweet and funny and even though I'm neither a vampire or a werewolf their relationship is easy to relate to!
My favorite thing by far those is the art it simple and cute and has a cute and quirky style to it.
I definitely recommend this for a a quick and easy but definitely run and lighthearted read.

This was such a lovely quick read! Funny, quirky and witty, along with some lovely illustrations, this was a lovely low stakes read that will surely fill the reader with joy and earn some chuckles out of them. I'd actually love reading some more about these characters in the future as I think the author did a great job in creating a really endearing duo.

I tried to download this on my computer, Kindle Fire, and Chromebook and it would not open. Unfortunately, I was very excited to read this but was unable to. I would love another way to read this as I was very excited to read it. I will continue to try to read it someway but with the devices I have it hasn't worked out yet. Again, I would LOVE to be able to read it. I will rate it 3 stars because I don't want to put a negative or a positive review on something that I wasn't able to read.

I have no words except THIS WAS SO CUTE and ADORABLE! I will definitely be buying a hardcopy. All you really need in life is a book filled with comics depicting the adorable and fluffy romance between a werewolf and a vampire! I will take a second collection of comics now, please.

I've been reading the comic pages as they were released on Tapas so of course when I found out it was going to come out as a volume I said to myself it's time for a re-read. And did I enjoy it more than the first time? Yes.
This is the story of the day-to-day life of a more unusual couple: Elsie, who's a vampire and Jimmy, a werewolf and the challenges they face, being two individuals who are so different. Filled with numerous laughing-out-loud moments, this is surely a book worth having and worth re-reading.

This book was so so so cute! I didn't know what to expect going into this, but I definitely loved it! This graphic novel is super funny and cute filled with all of the vampire and werewolf stereotypes and myths. Sarah Andersen does such a good job at encompassing what being in a relationship is like, the good times and the bad. I think if there are more novels in this series they'll start focusing on more series aspects of the relationship, but continuing to keep the dark humor throughout. It's a very short, super quick read. I hope in the future besides snapshots of their relationship there's a bit more of a plot, but I feel like that's just Sarah Andersen's style. I really hope Sarah Andersen comes out with more in this series. 4 out of 5 stars!

This is cute little vampire-werewolf love story and I practically inhaled it in a few minutes.
While I got a copy from NetGalley, if you are interested, you can read it here.

Fangs is a modern love story between a vampire and a werewolf. Sarah, famous for Sarah’s Scribbles, managed to weave common myths surrounding werewolves and vampires and the everyday hitches and awkward experiences and compromises they reach as a couple. If you're looking for something witty and quirky that is laced with dark humor, pick this up ASAP!

Thanks to NetGalley for the E-ARC of this book. I really like Sarah Andersen's cartoons and follow her social media, plus I love me some vampires, so I was very excited. The art is really lovely and quite different than Sarah's usual drawings - it fits the vampire feel and I love it. This was just a cute collection of short cartoons about an opposites attract, vampire and werewolf love story. It was cute and made me laugh (it was filled with dry humour and I loved that!) It was 3 stars because I would have liked a little more from it (and just more stories, more middle more bulk from it!)

I'd like to thank Netgalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for this arc.
One would think it'd be difficult for someone so into vampires as I am to dislike stories involving them, but usually I am very picky. But Fangs does not disappoint. It is romantic and funny with the humor being based on vampire and werewolf stereotypes. Through glimpses into the vampire-werewolf couple's relationship, we witness different aspects of their relationship and how in the end, they are just a couple who can work with their differences in the cutest, funniest way possible for the subject matter. It is easily read in one sitting and overall makes the reader read the "Fin" in the end with a smile.
Going into it, I had no idea it was by Sarah Andersen, and while I never read any of her other work, I have loved the comics she shared online. I am hoping there will be a sequel exploring their relationship and perhaps their circle of vampires and werewolves in the future, but as for now, I will make sure to purchase it when it comes out and recommend it to my other fellow vampire or werewolf enthusiast.

I like Sarah's Scribbles so much, so I could not let the opportunity to read this book pass. And it was impossible not to like these short comics! Elsie and Jimmy are so cute! Even if they are a supernatural couple, their relationship brings the feelings any human bond should experience!
Thanks to the author, the publishers and NetGalley for this ARC.

A love story between a vampire and a werewolf.
A werewolf and a vampire could be comical, beautiful, and romantic, yes, romantic to their styles! Well yes, and this book proves it.
I was there all the time since I started with a smile, and for the most part laughing at the little vignettes that make up this book, all of it is done in that format and the truth is the best option they could do, it transmits what really matters in a way illustrated and that is appreciated.
the story of jimmy and elsie seemed so adorable to me, and it was beautiful how they treat each other being from let's say different species, and yet they are a great couple.
If you want a book to give to someone and at the same time that person can laugh and enjoy the story ?, this is the right book.

OMG. I love it.
When I get the file I didn't know much about Fangs but Jimmy and Elsie are adorable and the funniest couple ever. Fangs it's more like a funny and sarcastic version of the relationship between a werewolf and a vampire.
I feel like I need more about their and before a quick search I know now that the author keeps Fangs on TAPAS so let me say something, you have to read this graphic novel.

I LOVE Fangs. It’s such a cute story with vampire and werewolf jokes at every turn. The art style is simplistic but cute.

I received an Advanced Readers Copy through Netgalley.
A cute comic about a relationship between a vampire and a werewolf. The panel where they are reading vampire books together and she just flat out laughs at Twilight... Yes. Lol.
This was cute and I'm glad I had the chance to read it.

Hmm, so I knew these disconnected one- to four-panel comics from tumblr, where they occasionally pop up on my dashboard and brighten my day, but Fangs is sadly only a collection of slice-of-life glimpses into the quirky relationship between a vampire and a werewolf, not a coherent story. And... I feel like I've seen all of them before.

This book is one of the funniest adult graphic novels I've read in a long time. It wasn't nearly long enough for me and I wished to see the transitions made further into Elsie and Jimmy's relationship. It had some ups and downs that reflected a true relationship only made comical by the underlying supernatural complications. I loved every drawing and joke. It was relatable and enjoyable. More please. #Fangs #Netgalley

"We should have a baby."
"You mean for breakfast?"
A sweet, horrifying, and gently & darkly funny set of cartoons looking at a relationship between a vampire and a werewolf. Love how this collection shows a more polished, lifelike style of art compared to Andersen's 'Sarah's Scribbles' strips. Plays on tropes of romantic comedies, vampires, and werewolves to good effect and by the end I genuinely liked and wanted to see more of each of these murder machines. Highly recommended!
