The previous graphic novels by this author were cute and fun but this a hilarious take on a paranormal romance couple. Elsie is a vampire, Jimmy is a werewolf, they meet in a bar and thus begins their adorable relationship. All the crazy tropes of each creature are shown although I love how Jim become a cute cuddle wolf when he turns and Elsie putting on makeup or clothes in the mirror that has no reflection. Even insulting each other with "leech" and "dog/mutt" when mad at each other. They are true perfect paranormal creature couple, and I dare you not to laugh at their stereotypical vampire and wolf antics. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face and give you a brief reprieve from life.

This book was an absolute joy to read.
In this graphic novel, we are introduced to a werewolf/vampire relationship. These two together make the oddest couple one could come across and yet seeing all those bits from their life was endearing and funny. I feel like most (if not all) the clichés that come to mind regarding these supernatural characters were used here, but I didn't mind it one bit. It fit into the mixture of puns and heartwarming moments very well.
I can definitely see myself flipping through this book again in future.

Thank you NetGalley for this eARC in exchange for an honest review!

I don’t have much to say except that this was absolutely adorable, the art was great, and I want some of those vampire dresses, too.

I really enjoyed this vampire graphic novel. The format was a bit hard to read on my phone but either way I thought it was cool. I'll be looking forward to seeing a physical copy of this book!

Shortest review ever: this was sooooooooooooo cute!!!!!!!
Oh, do you need more details? If you must…
"Fangs" has the most traditional vampire I ever read about, and I mean, with every superstition about vampires being true and still being completely devoid of cliches. And that isn't even the best part!
I consider it the perfect story for the digital age, which is to be expected when Sarah Andersen's art rules social media.
This is an adorable love story that never feels guilty about its darkness and whose humor is the perfect mix of cringy and original resulting in an absolutely unforgettable read that will stay with you for far longer than the time it took you to finish the book.
Also, the art! I would kill for some of those dresses.
Thank you to NetGalley, Edelweiss+, and Andrews McMeel Publishing for this DRC.

I love" Sarah's Scribbles" collections of comics, and "Fangs" may be my favorite yet! It's so cute, and does justice of a relationship between a vampire and a Werewolf.. I love both of the characters. (My favorite is probably the panel where they're reading Vampire books and Jimmy pulls out Twilight and Eloise just starts cracking up.).

I love Sarah Andersen and own all of her other books. Her art is so fun and relatable. In Fangs, a werewolf and a vampire fall in love. We see them in their everyday lives together and it is just awww! We watch as their relationship progresses and they love and support each other despite their difference and shortcoming. This is a simple little love story and it is perfect for those that enjoy dark humor, good puns, and of course, all things spooky.
Thank you to NetGalley, Andrew McMeel Publishing, and the fabulous Sarah Andersen for this eARC in exchange for an honest review!

This was a super fun quick read!

Things I Liked:
♥ I loved that the comics had an easy-to-follow timeline and we watched the relationship progress.
♥ The illustrations were lovely, with so many fun tiny details!
♥ The comics varied from funny to serious topics and this collection had a really good balance between the two.
♥ SO MANY PUNS!

Things I disliked:
♡ I didn’t connect with the characters a ton, but I’m guessing that’s because this was pretty short.

I'm a massive fan of Sarah Andersen's "Sarah's Scribbles" books so when I saw this was available to read now I instantly downloaded. I loved the premise, a graphic novel all about a vampire & werewolf falling in love, but I didn't really click with this. I think my main issue was that this wasn't in any sort of order, each page was just a small snippet out of the main characters' lives and I didn't like how it jumped around so much. I did find myself laughing throughout as this had typical Sarah Andersen humour!

Overall, if you like weird but humorous comics, I would recommend checking this one out!

I've seen some of this comic online and absolutely love it. I want more and I didn't want it to end. I hope Sarah makes more!

A vampire-meets-werewolf romance from the creator of Sarah's Scribbles. Andersen's style here is far less manic and cutesy than there, but it's still not exactly Love Like Blood; though they do build to an a very sweet whole, the pages each also work as a vignette or gag strip, relationship vignettes filtered through her being centuries old and him prone to howling at the moon. Sufficiently adorable that if it does become a default present in goth couples, that won't be undeserved.

While this collection is not comparable to the showstopping Sarah Scribbles collection, I found it charming and corny. Definitely a fun way to spend 15 minutes.

Decided to download this one off of NetGalley on a whim and I am SO GLAD that I did. This was so stinking cute and it warmed the heck out of my heart. If you're looking for a super fun romance between a VAMPIRE and a WEREWOLF, look no further. This was absolutely adorable.

As soon as I heard Sarah Anderson was coming out with something new I wanted to get my hands on it. Fangs is her typical short comic format, but this time we're following a vampire and werewolf as they begin and grow their relationship. Many of the comics had the perfect combination of humor and heartfelt sentiments as they navigate their life together. There were as many moments that made me laugh as there were moments that made me say "awwwwww." This is a great addition to her collection of works and I look forward to seeing more from her in the future.

This is cute! I said last week that I wanted to read more werewolf comics. Then this showed up as Read Now on Netgalley! I don’t say no to serendipity. This is less a full-fledged narrative and more a series of unrelated/funny panels about a vampire/werewolf relationship. Very punny and lots of humor related to vampire/werewolf lore (jokes related to silver, coffin, thirst for blood, doggish behavior, disappearance in a mirror, etc). The art style isn’t super complex (it’s not as detailed as, say, THE TEA DRAGON SOCIETY) but it suits the humor. I’d describe it as black and white illustrations with sparse, clean lines (see the cover).

Fangs is odd and funny. It tells the story of love between a vampire and a werewolf. The black and white drawings and sparse dialogue seem simple but the underlying relationship themes are complex. Teens will enjoy this book. It's sure to spark the Team Edward/Team Jacob debate all over again.
