This was a different read for me from this author. I have read all her shifter stories and love them. This one is a different vibe. Demons, incubus & plenty if “others”. It’s got lots of humour and innuendo.

I enjoyed the slowburn and eventual explosive chemistry between the lead characters. Coming in part way through the series I had to sometimes take a moment to work out who was who. Overall I really enjoyed it and would definitely read more from this group of characters.

Hallelujah! It feels like forever that I’ve been waiting for Keenan and Khloe to get together! I found their story to be entertaining and an overall good summer read. There were definitely parts I laughed out loud at and I really hope Asher gets his own story when he grows up because he’s basically my favorite character Suzanne’s ever written and we don’t even know much about him yet. I would recommend this one to others with the caveat that long time readers (like myself) might feel like her books are starting to be a bit repetitive. I definitely could have forgone the drama manufactured by one of the hero’s exes coming back into the picture to cause problems. It feels really overdone at this point especially since it has been a point of contention in some of her previous stories.

Finally the tale of Khloe and Keenan... their chemistry has been brewing since the first book (much like Devon and Tanner in the previous book) and now they get their story.

I enjoyed this addition to the series, and I can't wait for the next one (hopefully Rani and Maddox)

I had some reservations about reading Khloe's book because she always seemed a bit over the top with her antics in the previous books. I was very happy to see that she was actually a great character to read about. Suzanne Wright did a great job of keeping her personality intact without overwhelming the reader. I even ended up being more interested in her than Keenan, who always had an air of mystery that intrigued me.

The plot that involved Khloe was entertaining, and I enjoyed seeing how that played out. There were new powers that were introduced that I thought were pretty clever. It can be hard to keep things fresh in a series that involves powerful magical abilities, but Suzanne has continued to keep me hooked to this series. I'm looking forward to reading about Raini and Maddox next!

(& I can't help but also mention that I really enjoyed the glimpses of Tanner and Devon. I loved finally reading their book, and I hope we get some more scenes with them in the next one!)

I could be biased seeing as I have enjoyed this series and it's characters from the start. However that being said I have genuinely liked Keenan and Khloe as supporting characters.

So when I saw that they are getting their own story I couldn’t have been happier to see what their journey would be like, and I got to say Suzanne did not disappoint.

Getting to know Keenan and Khloe better as individuals and how they succumb to their chemistry together has been enjoyable to read, not to mention the story line had a grate flow and just had me flipping to get to the next page.

I will definitely be reading this book again, and I can’t wait to see what Suzanne brings next.

Omens was a really enjoyable read. I fell into this story from the start and couldnt dig myself out or put it down until there were no more words. I have been waiting for Khloe and Keenan' story for a while and it did not disappoint. These two have some strong sexual chemistry. I think my kindle started to smoke at times during the sexy times. I found Khloe and Keenan's demons interesting. Their back and forth kept me entertained. I loved going on their ride to their HEA. There were some spins ans turns, but they got their happy ending. I really liked Khloe and Keenan together and felt that they just worked. Gotta love Asher. I love this world and cannot wait for more stories to come.

How do you even start to review the creative genius that is Suzanne Wright? I have followed her from the beginning and am yet again floored by the new ideas that live in her brain. I was honestly wondering where she could take Khloe's and Keenan's story. After the reading 20+ books by this author I was worried that the story line would be repetitive as many author suffer from that. Suzanne not only offered and new spin, she kept me on the edge of my seat.
Khloe and Keenan have felt attraction for years but avoided crossing that line. Keenan like control because of a traumatic childhood and Khloe is am imp, the definition of out of control. When the tension finally boils over and the line is crossed, it is game on. Then with all Dark in You books, the danger appears and things turn deadly. It is a race against time and lives are on the line when the whole lair is threatened. In this book the danger is a lot closer to home and had my heart racing and terrified of what was happening.
To find the twist that Suzanne puts in this book that we have not seen before, pick up this must read book!

OMG! OMG! This book is AMAZING! I love the banter between Khloe and Keenan. I love how she pokes at him. They both fought it for sooo long. I am glad they have thir own book! Thought I had everything figured out only to be super surprised at the end. I am now rereading this book it is so amazing! You did it again Suzanne Wright! Great job!

I was on pin and needles waiting for this story to come out. Just catching a glimpse of Khole's character in the previous books was enough to know this was going to be crazy! You definitely need to read the other books in order to get a good understanding of the history of Khole and Keenan's relationship or perhaps lack of relationship might be better said.

As usual one of the things I appreciate most from Suzanne is how she incorporates the characters from previous books into the current one. It really helps me immerse myself in their world.

Khole and Keenan have been skirting around their feelings for a while now. At some point, it was bound to heat up to the point of no return. A bet is all it took to move them to the next step, the chemistry between the two is hot and dark.

Khole is aloof but smart, determined, and lives her life not caring what anyone has to say. As Jolene calls on her for some help, we see how powerful Khole truly is. Khole is in the fight of her life, for her life. We don't know if she will make it out of this situation alive.

In the meantime, Keenan is dealing with a blast from his past, when things come to blow - Khole is in the center of a mess and help comes from a very unexpected person. Will Keenan make it in time save Khole?

I truly cannot wait for more of the Dark in You Series, I really hope that once we get through the main characters we can see a story for Asher, that kid cracks me up. It was very interesting to see the bond that he has with Khole.

In short, this is a great story, chemistry off the walls, fight scenes that are amazing! The final battle had me rereading it three times. Just because it was so intense.

YAS! Khloe and Keenan's book! FINALLY!

Honestly, I'll read anything Suzanne Wright comes out with but while I just enjoyed the previous installment, this book was seriously amazing! I've always loved the chemistry between these two characters and it was totally worth the wait to get this story! I'd love more from Khloe and Keenan's perspective but I'm pretty sure Raini's story is up next.

If you love this series you won't be disappointed! Might be my favorite? LOVED. Oh and I think Asher is going to take over the world and I hope I can read about it one day. :)

Omens is part of a series but works perfectly well as a standalone. It's brimming with sass and sarcasm and the chemistry between the two leads feels like it sizzles right off the page, This is a book that fans of the series already will love and one which makes new fans want to read the entire series.

Smart, sassy and more sass! This book is part of a series and is Khloe and Keenan's story. Khloe is an Imp and is a tad crazy or she just visits her crazy on everyone' around her. Keenan is force of his own and is responsible for the safety of the most powerful demon couples child. Asher.
Keenan and khloe have been dancing around each other for years. When khloe is in danger and Keenan cant protect her he goes a little crazy. After another attempt on her life he claims her for his own. There are several twists and turns as we discover who is trying to get rid of Khloe and more importantly why.
I loved this book! Full of humor and suspense.

Another great read from Suzanne Wright! This author is one of the queens of romance and writes one heck of a book each time a new release comes out. I loved getting to know more of Khloe's backstory and watch her relationship with Keenan.

Looking forward to the next :)

I’ve been waiting for Keenan and Khloe to be together, like forever and I’m really really happy that we now get to have their story . Finally!!! 😍 This series is so addictive that you can’t help but anticipate each book. SW never disappoints. I enjoyed every page. From the first page I could tell it was going to be a hard book to put down🥰. I love Khloe’s crazy antics and how she always manages to annoy Keenan and Devon too.😂
Here we get to know more about Khloe and Keenan’s past. The plot is very interesting and surprising. And who couldn’t help but adore Asher, I really love that kid.🥰
There’s a lot in store for you in this book and surely will enjoy reading it.👍🏻

Can’t wait for Raini & Maddox’s story 😊

<b>4.5 "Fuckadoodledo" Stars </b>

I believe anything written by Suzanne Wright is fantastic period! This book was no different. I loved Khloe and Keenan's characters, especially Khloe.

<blockquote>"She has her own special brand of logic, is a magnet for trouble, has no sense of self-preservation, and could stir shit in an empty room."</blockquote>

Khloe and Keenan have danced around each other since the beginning of the Dark in You Series and all that sexual heat and frustration finally comes to a head in this latest installment. If you haven't read the other 5 books in this series I would HIGHLY recommend that you correct that ASAP! I would not recommend reading this as a standalone cause you would be missing out on the history and relationships between the other characters in this series. I don't want to say to much about the story and give any spoilers so I will just say If you are a fan of the Dark in You series you will not want to miss this one.

Aunt Mildred always said to read anything by Suzanne Wright, so I will continue to honor her by doing so. :)

That was just beyond fantastic. I love coming back to this world and Suzanne Wright just makes it more interesting every time.

I absolutely loved Khloe and Keenan together. She’s such a blast to read about and I love Keenan being her rock and not trying to change her.

The plot and this one was new and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I also loved being able to see my favorite characters from past books all together.

Can’t wait for more! Will post my review on goodreads 2 weeks before release.

I’ve been waiting for this book since I first met Keenan and Khloë in “Burn”! And I wasn’t disappointed. I love that we got to dive deeper in Keenan’s past since it’s always been a mystery. We find out why he is the way he is. We discover more about Khloe and her hidden abilities (since all demons like to keep secrets). Like with all of Suzanne’s books, some things I saw coming and some things were like 🤔😲. And that ending had me in literal tears! We get so invested in a series that these characters start to feel real to us. So when something happens to one, we feel that. Or at least I do 🤷🏻‍♀️ Especially when the author is as great as Suzanne Wright. She knows how to bring out the feels!
I’m very excited for the next book and the couple I didn’t see coming! I thought it was going to be different. Again 😯
Definitely a 5 star read! I can’t wait for it to release so that I can get the audiobook to add to the rest of the collection I have!
Worth the wait 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻

Absolutely loved it. The whole series is my favorite from Suzanne and I wanted Keenan and Khloes story!!! I knew I was going to laugh a shit ton and roll my eyes a whole bunch cuz Khloe is a whole kind of crazy haha.. I always wish we didn’t have to wait long for the books, but they are definitely worth the wait. It will be sad when this series eventually ends but hopefully not anytime soon. I of course wished the book was longer as I always do when the story is just so damn good and I love the characters. I’m glad K&K got their book.

Thanks for another great one!

This was the perfect way to spend my Monday off of work! I have been waiting for Khloe's love story since the beginning. Something about her unapologetic confidence and quirks just made her so interesting. Keenan was a very interesting male lead - I was a tad worried about liking him but Suzanne Wright once again pulled it off. This was a light run read that I loved.

I majorly appreciated that SW didn't try to skim over the fact that yes - Khloe is annoying as hell (don't worry she likes being this way. But she cold have easily just glossed over that character flaw (.. or strength if you ask Khloe) and made her perfect as many authors do with their heroines.

I fully plan to reread this one and I am super exited for the next installment in this series.

I cannot tell you how excited I was to get this in my hands! I have been rooting for Keenan and Khloe to get together since book one. Book one!! When I read the first book of the series, I thought that SW would change couples for the second one and I really wanted it to be about them. Six books later and I finally got the book I've been craving.

I am again finding myself in a tough spot reviewing this because I'm running out of compliments, superlatives and praise for Suzanne Wright. The English language only has so many forms of expression and I think after reviewing almost all her Phoenix, Mercury and Dark in You Series, I'm at a loss for words. Weirdly, I feel like I somehow should be laying flowers at her feet because after all these books, she still manages to make me invest and read avidly from first page to last. Her formula just works for me. I love her books and I re-read them often. They are my personal comfort blanket.

So, if I loved it so much, why not five stars? Well, because first I think I blew Keenan and Khloe really, really big in my mind so my expectations were bound to take a hit and second because nothing and no one will beat Knox as the Alpha Demon of my dreams. SW did such a good job with him, that now, nothing compares. Not even a hot as hell incubus demon. And these two were pretty explosive together!

Keenan's incubus powers, his intenseness, his temper and drive to protect were actually the perfect foil for Khloe's impishness. Being an actual imp, she continually messes with people for entertainment. The things that came out of her mouth had me howling at times.

"{..}She sang Afroman's "Because I Got High" in a Smurf-like voice. She asked Keenan to take her to an Amish community so she could "see some Amish dudes-they might be cute." When he refused, she proclaimed him an Amish cockblocker. He growled. "Have you lost your mind?" "Long ago." Khloe tilted her head. "I miss it sometimes."

"Well, if she couldn't fuck him, she could certainly fuck with him."

They have both been resisting one another for so long that it didn't take much for them to snap. Following a bet that Khloe loses, Keenan has the perfect excuse to succumb and lose his legendary control. Once Keenan had a taste, he couldn't fight it anymore.

Throw in a truly psychotic Lazarus demon targeting Khloe after she and the enforcers of her lair along with her Prime, Jolene, failed to stop and the element of danger and suspense ratchets up a knot.

I know I love reading a book when I start snapping at anyone and everyone that interrupts my reading. I even recorded the Bake Off: The Professionals last night so I wouldn't miss a second of reading. For me, Suzanne Wright deserves all the accolades. And once again, I cannot wait to see where she'll take us next with Maddox and Raini. Fingers crossed, with a Descendants spin-off!
