In Omens we finally get Keenan and Khloe and their chemistry is off the charts. As they become a couple they will be faced with someone from Keenan's past that brings with them a twist connected to Knox. As always Suzanne Wright has created a fantastic novel with characters that contain such depth that you feel like you know them and become invested in their world.
Thank you NetGalley & Little, Brown Book Group UK for providing an early readers copy. Omens is the sixth book in the Dark in you series . I have been waiting for Khloe's book since she was first introduced in this series. I wanted to know more about her character which I found very intriguing in the previous books. She was no doubt one of the strongest female character who can handle any dangerous situation with total ease. Keenan was a typical alpha male who was very possessive and wanted to protect Khloe from any danger. Thank you Suzanne Wright for this amazing book. I am really excited about the next couple in this series Raini & Maddox. I think their story is going to be very interesting.
I freely admit that I love this series and Knox and Harper are such a fabulous couple. In this book though it’s Keenan ( sentinel to Knox ) and Khloe ( Imp cousin of Harper ) who step into the spotlight. As an Incubus Keenan can control his own ahem urges but with Khloe around all bets are off ! It’s just too bad that Khloe is immune to his charms or is she ?
This very cleverly had two different storylines running through it and that’s not counting the hot romance ! A blast from Keenan’s past is back to really mess everything up and Khloe has troubles of her own when her family discovers a Lazarus Demon has been resurrecting the dead. Fans of the series will be overjoyed to see more from baby Asher and trust me that boy is one very powerful not to mention cute Demon . Yes I enjoyed it but for this reader it’s still Knox that makes my heart beat faster !
This voluntary take is of a copy I requested from Netgalley and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair
Suzanne Wright You’re My Hero! FIVE STARS!!
I’ve been waiting for Keenan and Khloe’s story since book one of the series. The tension between those two just got better and better in each book. When Omens popped up on my kindle I’m not ashamed to admit I might have squealed in excitement and devoured the book within a day. No regrets!!
Keenan Ripley is a familiar character we’ve met in previous books of the series. We know several things about him: he is one of Knox’s sentinels, he’s an incubus demon, and he seems obsessed with Khloe Wallis.
Khloe is an Imp demon and lives for making Keenan’s life difficult. The story starts off with Khloe helping Jolene, her grandmother/Prime, with an issue with one of their lair members and that’s where the trouble starts and we meet the new baddie who is extra creepy. Keenan gets involved while trying to protect Khloe. Gotta love that overprotectiveness/possessiveness.
The sexual tension between Keenan and Khloe comes to a head after a bet between the two and they have a difficult time keeping their hands off one another which I’m totally okay with. <wink wink> I love how he protects and takes care of her even when they weren’t officially together. There is some OW drama from an ex but you can always trust Suzanne Wright to write her heroes with eyes only for the heroine, which I totally love.
Of course, we get to see all of our other favorite characters back. Asher, I’m looking at you. Man, that kid is cute! And a total tiny badass! I can't wait until he grows up and hopefully gets a story of his own. Also can I just say I can’t freakin’ wait for Raini’s book and who I’m pretty sure her hero is gonna be! I neeeeeeed it!
The only bad thing I can say about it is I finished it way too quickly and have to wait for the next one. Such is the life of a reader. If you’re like me and have been eagerly waiting for this book, read it, you won’t be disappointed!

Review will be posted to Goodreads on July 15, 2020.
I’ve been waiting for Khloe and Keenan’s book since both characters were introduced in Harpers book. And this book perfectly lived up to the hype. I was only disappointed when I finished reading because I wanted more. I also love how this book makes you look forward to Rani and Maddox. I also look forward to Teagan. Khloe and Keenan make a bet together but Khloe ends up getting in danger. Both of them are commitmentphobes and you’ll end up seeing why as you read. This book is steamy, has great character development, you get to see all the characters you love from the Burn series. I have yet to be disappointed by Suzanne Wright. When I first discovered her I read all her books in less than a week. I highly highly highly recommend Omens.
I was given the privilege of reading an ARC of Omens. It was a great story from the Dark in You series! I was anxiously waiting for Khloe and Keenan's story and Suzanne Wright did not disappoint. I felt the characters emotions, I couldn't put it down and now I'm read to read more about those characters!
Without giving away the story, read the rest of the series so that when this book comes out you are ready to read it. You won't be disappointed!
I received a copy of this book on netgalley.com in exchange for a honest review and I wasn't disappointed. Wow just amazing. I loved how I got sucked into the story just within pages.
Khloe and Keegan they don't like that they want each other and have been fighting there chemistry together for quite some time. I like Keegan's demon and when it talks to Khloe it possessive. Lol I'm not going to give any spoiler's. I like that she likes to get on everyone's nerve. It's a slow burn until they finally get together, but when they finally end up in bed its off the charts HOT. This book easily became one of my favorites and it will be a reread.
Like always I love Suzannes story telling .Khloe and Kennans story was no exception I loved them so much together.Their romance was fun,a little sad and beautiful.
‘Omens’ is thus far my most favorite installment of the ‘Dark in You’ series. It centers around Khloe, an imp, who was a breath of fresh air, relatable and laugh out loud funny. The way she drove our beloved incubus, Keenan, crazy with her antics were the most memorable scenes aside from getting a bit more background info as to why Khloe is the way that she is.
As always, the author did a decent job building a world where readers can easily dive into and building the characters and their storylines. She also teases readers with a glimpse of the next couple on our list, Raini and Maddox which I seriously can’t wait for because something tells me their installment is going to blow everything else out of the water.
I'm going to keep this short and sweet:
OMG. This book was so freaking, fantastically, awesomely good ! It's going on my über-favorites-re-read shelf and it's one of the best books I've read for 2020. And if you're a fan of this series, you will LOVE Khloe and Keenan's story. Guaranteed.
This series is pure gold! So many fantastic moments in this book that not only made me love Keenan and Khloe more, but also has me excited for some possible future books still to come.
I got so comfortable with the girls in Harper and Knox's books that I just didn't even think about how there was more to them than we saw at the time I found that out in Devon and Tanners book and now again in Khloe and Kennan's story.
I've always loved Khloe's unique personality. She's pretty much insane and has always been entertaining. Getting to see a more dangerous side of her, created mad respect. Now that I've seen it in Devon and Khloe, I can't wait for Raini's turn.
While the guys were exactly as I thought they would be, I was surprised with how well they stood up to my love of Knox. To me, Knox is THE Alpha character. I was worried it would be harder for his sentinel's to hold up to his power. I should have known this author was going to deliver because she has managed to make me fall in love with them just as much as Knox.
Man, there were so many situations in this book that highlight other side characters that really just has me so excited for future books of the series. There are so many possibilities that I would make a Wallis proud because I will beg, lie and steal for them.
Omens (Dark in You, 6)

5 Stars ⭐️
This book is sixth in the series and is about Khloe and Keenan. To fully understand their story you have to read the series. This is an opposites attract trope - my favorite.
- H likable? Yes, I loved Keenan. He is an incubus, extremely handsome, loyal, protective, glowering, and just perfect.
- h likable? Yes. Khloe is an imp and mischievous by nature. She enjoys messing with Kennan and poking at his severe demeanor. I loved their interactions and banter. A powerful demon is trying to kill Khloe to get revenge on her Lairs Prime.

Thank you to the publisher for providing the ARC.
Another amazing book by Suzanne Wright. Keenan the incubus and Khloe the imp, they are a match made in heaven. Since Burn, (book one) these two have been at each others throats, this book is full of humour and zigging put downs as per their characters. Khloe's fall into his arms starts with a bet that she's 100% certain that she will win. The great characters from previous books make an appearance especially the 'little dud' who plays a stunning and pivotal part to saving Khloe. This is a must read for all Suzanne Wrights readers
I love this series and have been waiting for Khloe and Keenan. She’s an absolute riot! The story is great and seeing the rest of the characters is awesome. Love the way the author writes strong heroines. Great addition!
What can I say? I love Suzanne Wright. Her writing is spectacular. The way she draws you in with every word and emotion. The Dark In You series is absolutely one of my favorites. I have re-read this series several times and I love that we are getting more of this world and characters.
Another fantastic book in this amazing series. Omens is finally the story of the crazy imp, Khloe and the stoic sentinel, Keenan. We have seen these two dancing around each other for pretty much the whole series. It has been so fun watching Khloe thoroughly enjoying herself getting on Keenan’s nerves. And then watching Keenan trying so hard to stay away from her but unable to keep trying to protect her. In their story, when Khloe is targeted by a pretty dangerous and crazy demon, Keenan’s determination to keep her safe is definitely amped up. But not only is the danger Khloe is in that starts to change their relationship, there is also a side bet they decided to make with each other. This makes for some fun and sexy times. I won’t go much more into their story but it will definitely keep you on your toes! I did want to give a shout out to little Asher, I am always so amazed at the things he can do!! I loved this book so much! The laughs, the sighs and the intense tension was all here. Now I can not wait for Raini and Maddox’s story, especially with how things ended in this book.
Thank you to Netgalley and Little Brown Book Group, UK for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book. All opinions are my own.
5 Phantom Stars!!!
Knox I see your psychic fingers and I raise you Keenan's PHANTOM EVERYTHING!! OMG, why does my husband not have these kind of powers.
This book was everything I hoped for and had everything that I love about this author's writing.
1. Snarky hi-fucking-larious heroine who has the best one-liners.
2. Alpha hottie with a someone twisted past who can help his pull to said snarky heroine. Who has officially hit my top 3 book boyfriends list. .
3. Several side characters that bring you so much joy when they are involved in any ridiculous situation said heroine gets herself into.
4. Drunken girls night that makes me want, no need, to call my girls and get smashed with them.
5. Someone trying to kill said heroine without much luck cuz she is a freaking badass.
6. And best of all PHANTOM BODY PARTS, that do all sorts of incredible things. My jealousy for Khloe is really not healthy.
7. Oh and of course the crazy ex who causes drama (one of my favorites because SW's heroines never, ever cave to said crazy ex).
8. ASHER - which is all I need to say.
The list can go on and on. Like always with this author, she can do no wrong in my mind. Will everyone love her. No, cuz they are lots of idiots in this world who can't appreciate a good ole fashion, make you happy book. Are there many literary errors in this book, absolutely. BUT THERE ARE PHANTOM BODY PARTS, so who gives a shit! I sure as hell don't. Will this book make your day disappear and have you laughing the whole time! Yes, yes it will.
The actual storyline for this book was great. Jolene calls Khloe for help with a member in her lair.
Since she has lots of fun powers that she hides from most, that with the fact that she is the funniest imp ever makes her one of the best heroine's I have read.
Things get a little out of hand with Khloe helping Jolene. That puts a target on her back with a not so happy crazy person, he continues to try and kill Khloe. This of course does not make Keenan happy. It takes a little bit for him to get his shit together and stop fighting Khloe, but when he does he is all in.
I can't believe I'm going to have to wait for Raini and Maddox's book. So far no details on Larkin and Levi. But I'm going to guess Larkin and Teague and Levi and Ella. Maybe?
Anyway, I can't wait for this book to come out in audio. This will be on my read all the time list for sure.
I'm so high on Keenan, even my kids can't ruin this feeling.
I really enjoyed Omens and finally understood the title as I started typing this. *facepalm*
Khloe was always such a random character in the other books, she is the personification of imp but likable. You could see the relationship with Keenan coming a mile away. Their relationship, once they got their shit together, was nice. I didn't expect Keenan to be as alpha as he was but that was silly of me because I'm not sure that Suzanne Wright would ever choose to write an non-alpha hero. One of the mainstays that I appreciate most in her books is that while the ladies may let the guys get away with some macho BS, they don't let these men be careless with them and they know their own worth.
But back to the story line, I really liked the danger element in this book. Enoch was introduced so early but he was the threat that could be fought. It's also really great that Wright is giving herself the space to showcase new powers in the world she built without if feeling forced. As always, a satisfactory ending.
I can't wait for Raini's book.
This book was AMAZING !! Suzanne is very talented and I love her writing style !! She knows how to make my heart beat fast because of the adrenaline !! The book was just incredible !! I'm extremely thankful for her to write this book and share it with us !!
I have to admit that I liked Khloé and Keenan in the previous book, but that was it, I wasn't waiting for their book as much as I was waited for Devon and Tanner's book !! But wow, now that I've read it, I can clearly say that Omens is definitely my favorite book is the Dark in you series !!
I don't want to give spoilers about the book, but I'll just say that I was happy to read about Khloe and Teague's relationship and Khloe and Ciaran's relationship !!
The characters are great and the plot was just freaking awesome, Suzanne definitely put me on my butt with this book, and I'm very happy that she did !!
I have been highly anticipating Omens; I fell in love with Khloé’s brand of crazy in Burn and could not have been happier to hear that the next book in the series was Khloé’s and Keenan’s. The Dark in You Series is one of my all-time favorite series by my all-time favorite Author and let me tell you this book not only lived up to but surpassed all my expectations.
*Since Omens has not been released yet, I am going to try and stay vague with my review as to not ruin the book for anyone else. So please keep that in mind. *
Omens is the 6th book in the Dark in You Series and is the story of Khloé Wallis and Keenan Ripley. Khloé is an Imp Demon who is absolutely hilarious and bat shit crazy but in a good way. I really enjoyed getting a more in depth look into the different aspects of Khloé’s personality, while learning more about her and her back story. Plus, as Harper’s cousin and one of her closet friends we got to revisit some of my other favorite characters. Plus, in general the Wallis Imps always end up making me laugh.
Keenan Ripley is an Incubus Demon and part of Knox’s Sentinels. We were also first introduced to Keenan in Burn and one of the biggest aspects of his character up until this point has been his need for control and always trying to save Khloé from herself in some of funniest ways possible. Keenan’s character is impossible not to fall in love with.
Omens starts off not far after Shadows ended (Devon and Tanner’s story) and let me tell you it was one hell of a ride. From the first page this book sucked me in, and I could not put it down until I finished. I ended up staying up all night reading this and it was so worth it. It had me laughing out load in certain parts (my family thought I was crazy with how much I was cracking up) and it also reduced me to tears at a point. And for me that is rare to have a book bring me to tears, but I was that invested in this book.
I am not sure if its just me, but I felt like Omens was a little darker than some of the other books in this series, but in such a good way. I had no idea where exactly this book was going to lead to and that is always such a great surprise when that happens. Like I stated earlier I do not want to give away the plot, but for Khloé and Keenan to get their happily ever after, man did they have to go through some stuff!! And let me just say that I absolutely adore little Asher, he is beyond adorable and really took this story the extra mile. And Maddox, all I can say is wow!! I really can’t wait for his and Raini’s story which is coming out next summer.
As always Suzanne Wright has created a fantastic novel with characters that contain such depth that you feel like you know them and become invested in their world. If possible, I would give this book 10 stars, it was that good. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good paranormal romance. And while this is the 6th book in the series it could easily be read as a standalone.
