Needing a date for his best friend’s wedding certainly isn’t what he expected. His adorable house sitter but check every single box he could possibly imagine and was only the beginning. Another great book in the series!

Daniel is a billionaire workaholic, working for his Dad he is at his beck and call 24/7. He has no time for relationships and his friends call him Delayed Daniel as he is always late.

When Daniel makes a pit stop to his apartment between business trips he was quite surprised to find a gorgeous woman in his bath, he had forgotten he had hired a professional house sitter.

Due to a bit of a misunderstanding his friends thinking she is his girlfriend, set up a bet, due to his inability to keep a girlfriend he is challenged to still be with her for the wedding of his friend.

Jackie is in her final year to becoming a social worker and is using apartment sitting as a way of having somewhere to live and having money coming in. So was quite surprised to find her employer turn up as she had a bath.

She is quite surprised when her fabulously goodlooking employer makes her an offer, help him to win this bet and he will fund her final studies.

But what happens when the fantasy becomes a bit too real.

I really enjoyed this book, I loved the fact that the story went at a good pace and that it wasn’t all plain sailing. The characters were well fleshed out and you really wanted it to work out in the end.

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in turn for an honest review.

I quite enjoyed this read once I got stuck into it. The storyline is well structured, the characters are realistic and have layers to their personalities, and the romance throughout is thoroughly enjoyable too.
A quick, easy read for romance lovers.

this is not the kind of book i usually go for, and it remembred me why, this is such a fictionnal story, that could never in a million year happen...

This was a really interesting story!
I liked the believable aspect of it. The characters had some good layering and dialogue, and Leslie North put a creative twist on the story that grabbed my attention right from the start. Truly a good easy relaxing read!

4 out of 5 stars for the fun situations the characters found themselves in, the lifelike setting, and for making me anticipate more books from Leslie North!

Thanks to #Netgalley for making this book available to me.
I have to say that I enjoyed this book more compared to the first book in the companion series. Here we follow Daniel who we met in book one and he is Grayson's best friend. Because of his frequent travels, he got a house sitter who he had never meet until he came home early to find her having a bubble bath in his bathtub (Laughed so hard).
So with wedding bells ringing for Grayson, he is bent on calling out Daniel. He thinks that Jackie (the house sitter) is Daniel's girlfriend. Grayson proposes a bet that Daniel cannot refuse.
This book is just hilarious, I thought Jackie was such an interesting character and she made the book fun to read.

This was another fun romp in the land of billionaire playboys! Daniel and Jackie's story was a fun escape, and I read it in less than two days. I rate this book as four stars out of five, mainly due to the shorter length of the story (I like to see more character development, steam and a thorough resolution to the ending - this felt somewhat rushed IMO). I felt like the story up to where Daniel understood he needed to quit his job (which he hated anyway) and pursue what made him happy (Jackie) could have had many more pages dedicated to it. Also, I loved him getting the house for them and wish I'd known as a reader if they made it their home. This epilogue was better than the prior story's IMO and I enjoyed the setup for Blake's story. A fun beach read for sure, and I can't wait to get a copy of Blake's story!

Blog name: Storytellers by Marlou
Expected posting date: I don't know yet, as I'm currently on hiatus from blogging.

Eeeeeep, this book so much fun! I love me a good fake relationship trope 😍

Writing style: I am soooo glad I found Leslie North, I love her writing. It's like you're watching one of your favorite romantic movies, you just completely lose yourself in her story. I'm definitely a North fan now.

Characters: In the first book I wasn't such a big fan of Grayson and Mila (the main couple) and thought they could have been fleshed out more. I do not feel that way with Daniel and Jackie at all. They were so lovely and fun and their chemistry was just wow 🔥

Story: Fake relationship trope done verrrrry well 👌🏼 Jackie is Daniel's housesitter and his friends mistake her for his girlfriend and they bet with him on keeping it on for at least a week. Sounds like your avarage romance recipe right? And yet, it didn't feel like it. It was different and fun and just lovely!

Yep, I really liked this book so it's getting four stars from me. I'm gonna start book three immediately!

Complementary copy given for honest review and opinion from Netgalley. The opinions are my own.
Leslie North threw out another hot in my book. This is the second book in her series and it is just as amazing as the first. This book had a pretty fast romance but when you know, you know.

The Billionaire's Pretend Girlfriend is book two in the Billionaire's Club series.

Daniel doesn't have time for love, he only has time to win in business. Jackie is a house sitting college student who Daniel hired to watch his home and feed his fish while he was away on business. He comes home early to a naked Jackie soaking in his bathtub. The two have never met face to face and Jackie freaks out at the intrusion of Daniel. The two fall all over each other and Grayson assumes the two are together. Grayson makes Daniel a bet and Daniel can't refuse. He proposes the bet to Jackie - that he can't keep a girlfriend through the week of Grayson's wedding activities and forego his playboy ways. And tells Jackie he'll split the winnings with her. She accepts and the two are soon on their way to celebrate Grayson and Mila.

It doesn't take long before each of them no longer want to pretend and make a real go at a relationship. They both have reservations about taking the next step, but for very different reasons.

Once again, I am pleased with this Leslie North book. This was a really good follow up to The Billionaire's Pregnant Competition. I enjoyed the characters and the story. The dynamic between Daniel and Jackie is funny and romantic. I can't wait for the final book in the series!

Thanks to NetGalley and the author for an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The Billionaires Pretend Girlfriend by Leslie North is the second book in the new series of best friends. The friends are all very good businessmen. Daniel Trent had dedicated his life to his family business, he is a workaholic and never makes time for himself. He is known by all his friends as delayed Daniel because he's always late. Jackie Stone is his housekeeper and things change when they accidentally bump into each other. Daniel's friend is getting married and he needs a date, who better than his housekeeper.

This book is one of my favourites, I found the storyline intriguing and very believable. It was easy to get into the plot and I didn't want to put the book down. All the characters were fantastic! A must read!!

This second story in the latest billionaire series by Leslie North is full of sexy and humor. The bathtub scene starts things off with a bang and I laughed so hard. Jackie is my favorite character so far. She's deeper than she appears at first. Daniel is a bit uptight and the bet is the perfect thing to mix up his life a bit. I enjoyed watching the feelings build during the wedding and I wanted to reach into the pages and shake someone when Daniel's ex showed up. The men in these stories are sweet, romantic, and alpha and it's fun seeing the big realizations hit them. I can't wait to see Blake fall hard!

Yay, another Billionaire's series of Leslie North. I was very happy to see three billionaire friends starring in this new series. The second one is about Daniel, who is going to attend the wedding of Grayson and Mila (yep, from The Billionaire's Pregnant Competition). When Grayson accidentally thinks Daniel's cute housesitter Jackie is Daniel's girlfriend, he invites her along to the wedding. Betting with Daniel he will not be able to keep Jackie as his girlfriend for the entire two weeks.
Jackie is very happy to help Daniel winning the bet, since the earnings of the bet will help her pay of her tuition money. But she didn't realize it would be hard working to play the convincing girlfriend. Because all Daniel does is work, work, work. So Jackie does her best to distract Daniel and to have quality time with him as the perfect couple. She didn't count on it to actually feel really, really good...
Sparks flying, funny situations and a cute wedding ceremony. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

I loved this book !! Daniel and Jackie were so adorable together, for the moment this book is my favorite one in the series !!

Daniel is definitely a workaholic, he doesn't take a day off, and when he has one, his father is always their to remind him, how unecessary it is to take days off !! Then one day, he'll meet his house sitter, and she'll show him that life needs to be lives
Jackie lives at other people's house !! Life hadn't been easy for her, but she is a positive person, and just want to help people !!

I think I need to read this book again, I love it so much and Henry, OMG I love Henry and the fish scene, was just so cute !!

Greats books, of course, I couldn't stop my reading there, and I'm reading Blake's story, which is great !!

Daniel and Jackie meet in unusual circumstances. She is his house sitter and he is a workaholic with nothing in his life except money. One bathtub encounter and Jackie splashes into his life and romance ensues. Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for letting me review this book.

The sweet romance that develops from a fake dating situation blossoms into something much deeper and more beautiful than I expected.

The romance between our two main characters, Jackie Stone and Daniel Trent was very well developed throughout this short book when they bumped into each other after Jackie was house sitting for Daniel. Daniel Trent is hardworking and spends most of his waking time working, working underneath his father who continuously forces Daniel to forget about his life outside work.

When Daniel walks in on Jackie in the bathroom, their instant attraction is evident from their words to their physical movements toward each other. It’s awkward at first but when Grayson and Blake, Daniel’s two best friends think that Daniel would not be bringing a date to Grayson’s wedding from being busy every day so when Jackie comes into the story, Daniel asks Jackie to be his fake girlfriend.

I enjoyed the slow build up to Jackie and Daniel’s relationship throughout Grayson’s wedding and enjoyed the way that it wasn’t insta-love but they slowly got to know each other and slowly Jackie got Daniel to see the way he could easily enjoy time away from work.

I gave this three stars because there wasn’t much depth to the plot while reading. While the romance was strong and I enjoyed the way Jackie and Daniel got together, but the conflict between them was lacking when they had to separate.

While I did enjoy this, I definitely think that this could be a little better when it comes to the plot but the romance was well written and one of the enjoyable things about this book.
