This book gave me all the holiday feels! I loved all the Christmas imagery-- hot cocoa, ice skating, present wrapping-- this book will get you in the Christmas mood!
Bailey Briggs loves the Christmas season, and the only present she wants is a boyfriend. Will she kiss someone under the mistletoe? Will it be star athlete Jacob? Or the British stranger Charlie? Will it be a magical Christmas for Bailey?
This was a cute holiday book and a super quick read. It’s definitely young adult - emphasis on young.
Bailey loves everything Christmas and all she wants is a Christmas kiss and when she meets Charlie she thinks she's met her match. However, there is something about Charlie that is different cause Charlie seems to be everywhere and helping everyone.

What a sad experience. I don't know what I'm reading Christmas books in the middle of June.
I expected this book to be wholesome, but it ended up being a meh story, I didn't feel the Christmas spirit.
This book is about Bailey, who wants for Christmas someone to cuddle on a sleigh and kiss under the mistletoe. However, destiny will play with her head and put her in a difficult situation, she will need to choose between the good or bad boy.
I wanted to have fun with this story, but it was boring, Bailey wasn't an interesting character and her love interest either. I didn't like that she was playing with her decisions. Likewise, I'm also annoyed that the author didn't know how to use the love triangle and create drama, she didn't see that! There was potential over there.
Maybe I should've read another book.
I am sorry for the inconvenience but I don’t have the time to read this anymore and have lost interest in the concept. I believe that it would benefit your book more if I did not skim your book and write a rushed review. Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience.
Bailey works at the local bookstore and is a junior in high school. One day while ice skating she meets Charlie, a handsome boy with a British accent. He always seems to show up when she needs rescuing or gets in a sticky situation. At the same time, a boy from school named Jacob begins talking to Bailey and showing interest in her. Soon Bailey is confused because she enjoys being with both boys. Is it possible to like two boys at once? Bailey will eventually have to choose between them.
This sweet Christmas story was very enjoyable and had a lighthearted tone that I needed at this time. Though some parts of the story were predictable, the characters were realistic and funny. There was a small, unexpected twist at the end that made sense and reminded me of "It's A Wonderful Life," and a couple of the characters' names paid homage to A Christmas Carol. The Christmas spirit was well represented, and it almost felt like there was magic in the air. I highly recommend this delightful, clean Christmas story that will surely bring a smile to your face.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley. A positive review was not required, and all opinions expressed are entirely my own.
Quais as chances?
All I Want for Christmas brought the Christmas feels, but I really wasn't prepared for the magical ending. After so many struggles between the two guys I wish she had been the one to make the decision vs having it made for her.
I’ve been sitting on this book for quite some time now and I’ve tried reading it multiple times and I just can’t get into it. So I’m going to call it quits. Quite a shame because it looks hella cute.
Well this was pretty bad. I was not into the Spirit of Christmas Magic ending. The British guy was some kind of guardian angel but other people could see him??
Wendy Loggia famous for her 90s Love Stories series books and movie/TV novelizations. This definitely reads like something from that era despite the desperate mentions of Snapchat and Instagram. The main character came off very immature more like a middle schooler. She was *obsessed* with Christmas yet very naive about poverty. Really how could anyone be obsessed with Christmas not know about those Christmas giving trees?
The audiobook narrator also had an annoying voice you hear in a lot of middle grade audiobooks. Kind of a female voice that sounds like a preteen guy. Think Bart Simpson or any of the Goosebumps narrators.
This was a great holiday read and I couldn't put it down. I loved every minute of this book, even though it was YA and not Adult Fiction.
Sweet, Holiday-movie type YA romance. Well written for the target audience, and full of sweetness and emotion.
I love love love Wendy Loggia's writing! I'm so happy that I was able to read this cute Christmas story written by one of my favorite authors! Thank you so much for the opportunity to read and promote this title!
This book was a cute Christmas read. It was a breath of fresh air and brought me more Christmas spirit. It was super sweet, and I was not expecting the twist in this book. Overall, I enjoyed the book and would recommend it to others, especially to get in the Christmas spirit.
Initial Thoughts
Well, I read this book in January in the hopes that it would solve my holiday season hangover.
Some Things I Liked
Boston as a setting. I love Boston and was so glad to find a contemporary book set there.
Nods to several holiday classics. I loved the references to everything. If you’re a holiday movie fan, this book is for you!
One Thing I Wasn’t Crazy About
Charlie. I loved him as a character but the explanation got a little wonky and I had a hard time accepting his plot resolution.
Series Value
I can’t say there’s any more needed here by way of sequels but I’d enjoy reading more of Wendy Loggia’s books!
Final Thoughts
This book certainly did cure my of my holiday hangover. I can see myself rereading this one come holiday seasons in the future.
