I didn’t find this hot or particularly erotic but I did read with a kind of fascinated disgust. Ben is heavily into backdoor loving and I’ve never warmed to him during the earlier books in the series. At one point he says this and I had to agree with him.

Don’t do this.” Ben felt like a vise was closing over his rib cage. Something was going to crack. “I’m not worth loving and you know it.”


Thankfully he has an epiphany and their reunion at Jeremy’s funeral is highly emotional and rescues the book but I could never like him. He’s capable of absolute cruelty and I could never forget that.

This book was a little too intense for me. I think I'm past my BDSM phase and this was much more erotica than romance. DNF at 35%.

Wow! Hot! I know this is a series but you can definitely understand what is going on without reading the others. And did I mention hot?! Steamy hot scenes. Yummy yummy dom! Love and will seek out the others in the series.
