The stories are basic, simple, and easy to understand.

I loved this simple Bible story book for young children. I read this to my grandchildren and they all enjoyed the stories, listening intently and pointing things out in the illustrations. Of course they all have different amounts of knowledge about the stories based on their ages, but they all liked this book. These are very simplistic bible stories with just the main points, but with older children you can move on to read other versions that are more detailed and even the actual scriptures themselves. The illustrations are great, showing a realistic skin tone, considering the nationalities of the characters in these stories. This is a great book for family libraries, church libraries and Sunday School classroom. Although many of the stories are from the old testament, 5 of the 14 include the birth of Jesus up to Easter.

First Bibles can be tricky, but this one was a pleasant surprise. I appreciate that the biblical characters aren't whitewashed and that the text is simple, uplifting, and easy to understand. Will definitely be recommending to parents of the preschool set and likely purchasing a copy for my own daughter's Sunday School class.

This was a very good book of bible stories for the younger generation. It dealt with the stories of the bible in simple, understandable terms for them. I would highly recommend this book to others.

For families that want to instill biblical principals for their young children. It gives the gospel in stories that are colorful and easy to understand. It is important to teach our children the attributes of God and how much we need the salvation of Jesus.

This book is easy to read and understand. Explains events in a very simple way. I think it will make older kids want to read more of the story.

This is a sweet and simplified version of some basic Bible stories for very small children. A great introduction to 14 popular stories in scripture. Each story is 2-6 pages long with cute illustrations. If you are in the market for Bible stories for little ones, this is a great option. According to the description it will be a board book with a padded cover and sturdy pages when it's printed.
