3.5 stars. This book was light hearted and sweet. The perfect summer read romance. I would absolutely read anything else by this author.

I love TWEET CUTE and YOU HAVE A MATCH from this author so had to pick up her YA title. A fun Young Adult romance- - great for fans of Lynn Painter's YA romances!!

One of the things I truly love about this book is that, while a romance novel at its core, there is so much more to the story. There is plot beyond the love story. These characters have such depth and nuance and are dealing with complex social situations. Not only am I invested in them, but everything just matters more. A definitely solid read.

I loved all the emotional elements of this story - the found family (literally) and the sweet romance. All set at the very cute camp. This one didn't hit as hard as Tweet Cute, but I still really enjoyed this sweet YA rom com.

I live Emma Lord's stories! She takes every day topics and turns them into a beautiful story. The twists in this book were amazing. I can't wait to read more by her!

You Have A Match had an interesting premise and some heartwarming moments, but it didn’t fully resonate with me. While I appreciated the themes of family and self-discovery, I found certain aspects of the plot a bit predictable. Overall, it was an enjoyable read, but it didn’t quite leave a lasting impression.

While I enjoyed her debut, her next few novels have not been it for me. I am not sure if I aged out of YA or I just cannot relate to the characters but I am just not enjoying her work

Another Emma Lord book that I definitely struggled with. The beginning was actually pretty good. I was hooked. I wanted to know what was going to happen between Abby and Leo. I wanted to know what HAD happened between them to make things so awkward.
I also wanted to know more about how Abby's and Savvy's parents came to give Savvy up for adoption.
But I just got stuck at some point. And I found that I just didn't care anymore, unfortunately. Not sure I'm going to keep trying with this author. I know people love her, so it's probably just a ME thing.

This was a great title with a wonderful premise! I loved the familial aspect of it though the plot itself felt a little slow for me. I wish there was more depth to the romance. However, this was a wholesome read and overall a fun book.

I’ve known for a long time that this book was well loved and after reading it I understand why. Lately, all the books I read fit into my life like I was meant to read them right then and this book is another example of that. I know the situation Abby and Savvy find themselves in is rare, but it is a situation I have found myself in recently in my own way and I feel a lot like Abby does. I just want to keep going the way I always have and take the easy way out.

I love the messiness this book has. Messy is how life is. You aren’t always going to say the right things or know what to do right away. Especially not when for Abby she just found out she has a sister she never knew and she had almost kissed the guy she’s been friends with for years and now things are awkward between them. When you have so much going on in your life, like how Abby is also dealing with the loss of her grandfather Poppy, it’s hard to move forward or even think about what the next move should or could be.

That is the heart of this book. Life throwing crazy circumstances your way and figuring out how to deal with them with humor and bravery and maybe doing some things that are way out of your comfort zone. It’s growing up and becoming yourself, a new sense of yourself, as life adds the the sculpture of who you are.

I loved the friendships and the conspiracies and the hiding, but in the end everything comes out, because you can’t hold back such a huge truth for too long without any consequences. This book is about discovering what you need to heal and move forward. It’s about discovering what will work for you in your life and respecting that everyone else is also figuring it out and is just as messy as you.

This book is funny, emotional, full of pranks and hijinks, and life. It’s well worth the read. I’m glad for reading it now and bringing home with me all the lessons it had to teach me.

This was such a sweet read and definitely the first of many I will be reading by this author. I found all the characters relatable in their own way. The romance aspect was written so well.

I did not really enjoy You Have a Match. I struggled with the characters and with their POVs. Abby drove me a little crazy and I couldn’t really connect with her. I really blame my difficulty with the YA genre lately. I just can’t seem to get in the YA headspace for some reason and I struggled through the book because of it

You Have a Match was my second Emma Lord book as I previously read Tweet Cute and immensely loved it. This book was set at a summer camp and had all the tropes of summer camp - a summer romance, a long lost missing sister, a mean girl and lots of fun hijinks. The characters were well-written and the interactions between them all were interesting. Definitely looking forward to reading more from Emma Lord in the future.

I don't think I've read a Emma Lord book I did not like. This one is such a cute summer camp story. If you ever liked the Parent Trap as a kid, this is for you.
