This is probably my favorite book of the series so far ... and I have loved each of them!
But this book had me feeling that I was truly in Alaska . I've always loved Easton in the other books but we were given a gift in this book because we learn who he really is. I loved that Sarah paired him up with such a strong female. I can't wait to read more stories of the people of Moose Springs!!

I love Moose Springs and was so excited to get this arc!
This story was Easton’s turn for romance. Former Hollywood darling River Lane is in town shooting a documentary. Of course the locals want nothing to do with this. Rivers plan is to film climbing up Mt. Veil and Easton is just the guide to help them out. The climb doesn’t go as planned!
I loved seeing Graham and Zoey again alongside The Tourist Trap! Easton’s story was my second favorite of the series (sorry not sorry Zoey is still my fave!!). Seeing the real River unfold as she climbed up the mountain was great and as always Easton is wonderful! Get this book for yourself on January January 19! If you haven’t read the series yet I highly recommend it! Who doesn’t love a book set in Alaska?!?!? Thanks @netgalley and @sourcebookscasa for the copy!

Publishing Date: January 19, 2021.
First of all, I would like to thank Netgalley and Sarah Morgenthaler for an ARC of Enjoy the View.
I think this is my favorite book of the Moose Spring series, even though most of the book was spent on the mountain and not actually in Moose Springs. I think that what I loved about this was how real and intense the climb through the mountain was, but how lighthearted the book still felt.
The two main characters had hilarious and flirty banter throughout the book, even when they were in some life-threatening situations up on the mountain. I thought this was a very unique love story. The characters definitely made the book amazing, and I always love when characters have depth as they did in this one.
I highly recommend this book if you loved the first two books in this series because I think this one was the best. I also feel like it didn’t incarnate a super cheesy trope, which I liked.

I’m ready to pack my bags and move to Moose Springs. The way the author describes the scenery, I feel as if I am there in Moose Springs climbing the Old Man along with River and Easton or sitting in a coffee shop. The imagery is vivid and makes me envious that I am currently not in Alaska. The way the author writes Alaska makes me want to pack my bag and be on these adventures with this crew. The description of their climb was what kept this book interesting. I loved how she described the specific elements of the environment along with the fun characteristics of the animals they encountered.
River is not your typical starlet. She feels more normal than Hollywood because she doesn’t give off that persona. She is devoted to her two man crew making sure they are taken care of along with herself. She lives for adventures and is no way a damsel in distress. Easton is the sexy and fit version of Hagrid. I liked getting to know him more with this book. He has a playful and mischievous side that balances his gruff and intimidating demeanor.
The dialog felt a little dry to me. I was on the cusp of feeling a connection between River and Easton, but there was just something missing for me. To me it felt more as if this was a group of friends hanging out rather than two people falling in love. At times I felt lost in the conversations that were happening because it felt as if it would jump from one topic to another so quickly I couldn’t keep up. I found myself rereading a lot trying to fill in the blanks.
I wish the author had divided this dual POV into chapters indicating whose story I am reading. With this story being told in a third person narrative and going back and forth between Easton and River within the chapter caused some confusion on whose view I was reading.
I’m kind of sad that I fell in love with Alaska more than the two leads of this book. I missed the connections between them and wished I felt a spark between them. I loved the parts and description which encapsulated Alaska. I felt the wanderlust flowing through my veins and wished so badly to be in the book engrossed in the beautiful landscape. This book fell a little short and I wished for more from the characters themselves. Thanks to NetGalley and Sourcebooks for this ARC

Okay I think this one is tied for my favorite with The Tourist Trap! I was sucked into this from the very beginning! I love Easton and all his friends! He has a special bond with Zoey and Graham, so I was excited to see them featured in this one! I think Ash may be one of my favorite characters! I fell I love with River, Jessie and Bree as well!
This was so fun following them along a hike up a mountain! I would not do well climbing a mountain, so this was the perfect way for me to experience it. My absolute favorite part of this book was the relationship between Easton and the marmot!! I was dying during one particular scene, which I don't want to spoil!
Yes these books in this series are on the longer side, but the writing and stories get you caught up in them and you fly through the book! I really enjoy the character development in not only the main characters, but all of the supporting characters as well! Sarah also creates a beautiful description of Alaska as if you are there!
I am excited for others to read this one, and I am praying for there to be a fourth book featuring Ash!
Thank you to Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for my eARC in exchange for a honest review!

This was a lot of fun to read. The characters were amazing and hilarious. I love their sense of humor and the way their love was created.

Unfortunately, this didn’t work for me. Normally I would love a small town and feisty protagonist, but I was bored a the beginning and not invested later. I think this book will work for most readers especially those who have read the entire series. This was the first book in the series that I read. Easton was a bright spot for me though. I’d still recommend this book to most readers though. It just didn’t work for me.

This is the third in the Moose Springs series and I loved this one just as much as the first two!
I so wanted Easton, the mountain man and the mountain of a man, to get his own story and he does! He was kind of a broody character in the last two books and it was fun to see him pushed out of his comfort zone in this book with this feelings for River.
River and her crew have come to town to film a documentary and, like all newcomers to Moose Springs, they get a very cold welcome. So much for Plan A, they try Plan B to film and climb the local mountain. And by mountain, I don’t mean Easton! Although the connection between River and Easton is so strong that climbing him is definitely on River’s mind.
The tension in this book is not all sexual tension, there are so very intense mountain climbing scenes that kept me on the edge of my seat. I really loved how River and Easton worked together to solve problems and how much respect he had for her skills.
This books is the epitome of “It’s not the destination, it’s the journey.” as they both learn so much about themselves during this trek.
I received an advance copy of this books from Sourcebooks Casablanca and NetGalley. This review is voluntary and these thoughts and opinions are my own.

I have read and enjoyed the Moose Springs series and each book has pulled on my heart strings a little more but I think that Enjoy The View is actually my absolute favorite in the series.
I’m not sure if I loved it more because I’ve adored Easton throughout the other two books or if it was because Easton finally met his match in River and I loved their constant challenging banter.
If you’ve read the other two books already you know Easton is a true mountaineer. He tracks animals, climbs mountains, is always there for his community and is twin, is a large man like Sasquatch, is tough as nails but has the heart of a teddy bear.
River is an actress trying to become a producer filming a documentary of Moose Springs and well the people of Moose Springs want nothing to do with it.
Easton and River meet and he tries to help her while also being loyal to his community. They decide to climb Mount Veil which not only makes these to grow closer together but also brings quite a bit of danger, a super cute marmot, and some epic sightseeing.
I really enjoyed this book, and if you have read the other two, I hope you will consider reading the last book in the series because well Easton😍

ARC review
I LOVE this series and I’ve been waiting for either Easton or Ashtyn to get a book since the beginning. I would honestly keep reading this series indefinitely.
Easton Lockett is a mountain-sized mountaineer who’s super loyal to his friends, his town, and his family. He’s no-nonsense and safety conscious and very down to earth. And while he loves his dream job of working as a mountain guide, he’s also lonely and feels a little confined in Moose Springs.
River Lane (not her real name!) left rural Montana for LA 10 years ago, where she chased her dream of stardom, did ok, and then washed out at almost-30. Now she’s taking a foray into documentary filmmaking with her two best friends. She’s hoping to get her start by making a documentary about Moose Springs for the tourism board.
In typical Moose Springs fashion, River is basically run out of town and prevented from filming anywhere, so her last resort is to book a guide and summit Mount Veil with her team. Of course, Easton is her guide, sparks fly, and danger looms.
This book was a great mix of humor, adventure, and romance. I loved the descriptions of beautiful Alaskan wilderness, River and Easton’s banter, and the band of supporting characters.

When movie star River Lane’s acting career starts to slide, she grabs onto directing determined to keep her foot in Hollywood’s unfaithful industry. Unfortunately, the only benefactor willing to take her on, is a documentary company looking to create a film in the remote town of Moose Springs, Alaska. Except, the town doesn’t want them and block her filming at every corner.
Easton Lockett climbs mountains for a living, but even he isn’t prepared for the troublesome, beautiful film director determined to do her job, even if it means hiring him to guide them up one of the area’s steepest and most forbidding mountains. He can keep them from falling off the side of a cliff, but can he stop his heart from falling in love?
This is a fun, flirty book about opposites attracting. The scenery is breathtaking, the characters engaging, and there are plenty of laugh-out-loud moments that I enjoyed. The sparks fly as these two, strong personalities grapple their way to the top of the mountain and learn love is the greatest adventure of all.
“I voluntarily read an ARC of this book which was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.”

This series gives me major Hallmark movie vibes, which is perfect for this Hallmark loving gal! I loved the banter between River and Easton and the suspense of their mountain climbing adventure! The chapters were a little long for my taste, but they’re broken up into different sections which helped! Overall, this was a cute read and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a cute, romantic story!

Every book in this book gets better and better! Between this series and The Simple Wild series I want to move to Alaska and find myself a rugged grouchy man friend. LOL
This one follows the same premise as the others - a non local comes to town and isn't readily accepted. I really enjoyed River and East's story line. They have great chemistry from the moment they meet! I also liked that they don't push away their feelings quiet as much as other couples. I don't know if it's because this is the most recent book I have read or not, but I think River and East are my favorite couple so far!
I just love the series and following along with this group of friends! They are so fun! Sarah Morgenthaler does a great job telling this story, weaving in past characters, making the reader laugh, and connecting the reader to the characters and location. I can't wait to visit Moose Springs again!

Rating: 5/5
Laughing Score: 2/5
Crying Score: 0/5
Plot: If we’ve learned anything from the previous two books is that Moose Springs, Alaska does not like tourists. So needless to say when River Lane, Hollywood actress and her film screw Jesse and Bree try to make a documentary about Moose Springs, they find it rather difficult. Things turn around when River keeps crossing paths with Easton Lockett, a Moose Springs local who runs a climbing company, and is assigned to lead the film crew on a dangerous hike up Mount Veil. Together they climb they climb the toughest mountain, literally and metaphorically.
My thoughts: I loved this one! I think each book in this series gets better and better with each book. I was super excited to hear that this book was about Easton because he’s one of my favorite characters in the series so far. That strong, silent, loyal friend that’s always there for people. I first fell in love with him after the first book when he hugged Zoe (anyone else remember that part?)
I will admit I thought his character was a bit different than what I imagined him to be, but I think that’s understandable because he wasn’t the main character you knew much about. All that to say - I really loved the way his character evolved in this book. This books was so well written that I felt all of the character’s emotions with them, I felt the stress on the mountain, the worry when someone was injured, and imagined how adorable the marmot was.
I love this series because of the recurring characters who help build the vision of Moose Springs, Alaska. Although the locals wouldn’t like me - I would definitely make a trip there if i could.
I hope the next book we read is about Ash! :)
Thanks Netgalley, Sarah Morgenthaler, and SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca for this arc in exchange for my honest review. Enjoy the View comes out on 1/19/2021 and this is not one you’ll want to miss!

I gave this book a few tries and after getting 10% of the way in I just can’t get into it unfortunately. I have seen so many good reviews I don’t know why I don’t like it but it isn’t grabbing my attention and I’m unfortunately DNF-ing for now.

Enjoy the View by Sarah Morgenthaler

Thank you to @netgalley and @sarahmorgenthaler.author for the Advanced Reader Copy in exchange for my honest review. Enjoy the View will be released January 18, 2021.
I reviewed The Tourist Attraction last week and I sadly wasn’t a fan. I chose to skip the second book, and head straight into this one, as all books can be read as standalone reads. You guys. I freaking loved this one! If you love books set in Alaska like I do, this will satiate all of your Alaskan travel dreams.
ⓌⒽⒶⓉ Ⓘ ⓁⒾⓀⒺⒹ:
+I enjoyed the story line of mountain climbing way more than I expected! I feel as though it gave more depth to Easton and River’s relationship, it made their attraction to each other more realistic.
+While this story is set during the summer in Alaska, it absolutely gives off the wintry vibes as Easton and River’s crew climb the mountain covered in snow and danger.
+While I wasn’t a fan of The Tourist Attraction, I was interested in Easton’s character from that story. I was not let down and I adored this large bearded man being the cinnamon roll hero we all love and adore.
+Even though this book is a closed door romance, it was not lacking in passion. A majority of the story, Easton and River are bundled in layers of clothing, so Morgenthaler did an amazing job writing about forced proximity, slow burn, and building this epic love story without the characters ripping each other’s clothes off. I think it would have annoyed me if they did because hello, who is getting naked in -30°. I didn’t miss the smut... and I always miss the smut 😂
ⓌⒽⒶⓉ Ⓘ ⒹⒾⒹⓃⓉ ⓁⒾⓀⒺ:
+The ending was a little off for me, it all just felt very rushed. The ending reminded me of The Tourist Attraction’s, so it felt predictable and was ultimately why I gave this book a 4.5 instead of a 5.

First off, thank you NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the advance readers copy.
This book is my favorite of the three. We follow an actress who’s career is ending for the worst. She decides to change course and start fresh being behind the camera as a film director. That’s when she decides to take a job filming a documentary set in Alaska. She travels to the picturesque city of Moose Springs Alaska, where tourists aren’t welcome.
When River gets to Moose Springs she met Easton, the guy in charge of her hike. And the rest is history. In their journey they fight, they make up, and they fear of losing the other. The book is pack with a lot of adventure. I felt I was there hiking with them.
Being back in the city brings me so much joy. I enjoy the setting and the characters. Seeing all the other characters get involved in this love story was so great and beautifully done.
I recommend all the previous book and you don’t need to read them in order, but for me, is the better way to do it. It was the perfect Christmas book, even tho it wasn’t setting during the Christmas holidays. Maybe it has to do with so much snow.
The book itself is more than a love story. It was about a hike and how dangerous and beautiful can be. I loved all the characters, the love between the mains characters, and all the friendships during the story.

I really like reading Easton and River’s love story. Easton is a mountain of a mountain man, and River is the somewhat washed up actress who wants to be a director. River is planning on making a documentary of Moose Springs, and the town wants none of that. Moving the documentary to the mountain means River hires Easton to guide her crew up the mountain. This was my least favorite of the three Moose Springs books. The majority of the story takes place on a mountain climbing trek - which to be honest I have zero interest in ever doing. It was interesting reading about it, but didn’t quite get the need to summit. 🤷♀️ I do, however, feel a need for Ashton and Jackson’s story! Please tell me it coming!

Strong small town Hallmark movie vibes and for that I enjoyed this one. A bit cliche, a bit predictable, but that's also part of the appeal of these types of books.

I was so excited to head back to Moose Springs, Alaska for the third installment of Sarah Morgenthaler’s series. This one focuses on Easton, the scruffy mountain man, as he guides a Hollywood starlet and her crew on a hike up a mountain to film a documentary. I wasn’t sure how a book centered on Easton would work since I thought he mostly grunted in the first two books, but this was a fun read that takes you a bit outside of Moose Springs.
If you haven’t read Sarah Morgenthaler, you can rely on her books to feature a strong female lead, caring and protective men, and adorable and hilarious critter friends. I enjoyed the hiking and adventure aspect and we got to see Easton and River both flirt their way up the mountain but also face some dangerous situations. There was great chemistry and you got to see the soft marshmallow side of hulking Easton. I loved the humor throughout and appreciated watching the characters grow and learn to compromise.
I love this series and it makes me want to immediately pack my bags for Alaska. If you want a fun and charming romcom, I highly recommend picking up Enjoy the View when it publishes January 19!
