He will win the bet but he won't fall on love.

Blake has watched both his friends fall in love and in his opinion have lost their edge. He is determined not to do the same but when his friends bet him to date the same girl on five occasions it turns out to be harder than he thought

Michelle works for Blakes baseball team and whilst she is flattered by Blakes attention but the trappings of wealth do not interest her. After all she has her young daughter Mollie to consider.

What happens when both Mollie and Michelle fall for the gorgeous Blake are they heading for heartbreak.

This was another great book from Leslie North and I loved the character of Mollie, I enjoyed the slow burn of this story so appreciated the extra length.

Definitely well worth a read.

Thank you to Netgalley for a copy of this book in return for an honest review.

This book was really hard to get through. I did not like the main character. It was slow in spots and I found myself skipping forward a lot.

This was an easy to read, light hearted book.
I finished this book in one sitting as the story was fun to immerse yourself in.
I really enjoyed following the romance between the characters blossom, and the various doubts they both struggled with were realistic and often relatable. The story was really quick moving, and everything seemed to happen incredibly fast between the Blake and Michelle, however, this didn't really take any enjoyment out of the book for me.
Some aspects of the story were under developed and lacked any depth, but this was certainly a fun, enjoyable, easy read for me none the less.

This was such a cute fluffy heartwarming story. Omg what a great surprise. I read this in one sitting because it was a really fun read.
The relationship building was credible. The doubts of both characters were also credible and well done. I liked that it wasnt too instalovely even though everything happened in a matter of weeks maybe two months tops but it was such a delight to read more about Blake and Michelle... and Mollie... she was the cutest!
There were some plot holes and things that need more explanation or were underdeveloped but I'm going to let it go and just focus on the absolutely cute and loving relationship between our main characters.

Billionaire Blake Harrison doesn’t believe in relationships that last more than a couple of dates, but his best friends have made him believe that love and happily ever afters may be possible. So when they bet him to go on five dates with his team’s trainer and he’s forced to get to know her, Blake is more than convinced she’s the one. The only problem is he needs to convince the lovely Michelle take the risk.

Full disclosure here. I loved the book’s cover and was intrigued by the blurb. Who doesn’t love a hot billionaire romance? I’ll be honest, I found it difficult to relate with the characters. Perhaps it was because I started reading this series at the tail end. But their connection also felt a bit superficial and off and so I admit I struggled a bit with their story, although this may very well be a case of it’s me, not you.

The Billionaire’s Girlfriend Bet is book #3 of the Billionaires Club series by author Leslie North. It is a standalone contemporary romance, told from both points of view with super cute happy ending.

I enjoyed this book and would read more in this series. I love to read books in a series, because you can really connect with the characters and watch them grow throughout the subsequent books. I definitely want to read the rest of the books in this series.

For as long as Blake can remember, he has believed that the was to true happiness was to keep his heart of the equation. After seeing his two best friends fall in love, he's beginning to second guess himself. He can't get past the second date, let alone settle down. His friends bet him he can't go on five dates with the same woman. Enter Michelle - a trainer that works for his baseball team. The two agree to go on a date and Blake begins to wonder if she might be the one. There is attraction, but Michelle has hang ups.

I enjoyed this one! This was the third and final book in the trilogy. It was the perfect final piece. I loved all the characters and the story line.

Thanks to NetGalley and the author for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

The final instalment in a series, I was already interested in this novella before I was able to get hold of it and it lived up to my expectations
Serial dater Blake makes a bet with his friends that he can’t date the same woman 5 times in a row. They even pick the woman for him, Michelle who works as a trainer for his baseball team
Michelle has been hurt badly in the past and her world revolves around her daughter Mollie which I loved about her as a character. She is independent and so different in lifestyle to Blake that she was a welcome relief to his perfectionist character
I did like Blake however, even if I had challenges with him at times. He truly becomes to care for Michelle and Mollie and as much of the story is written from his perspective I could understand a lot more about him and come to love him as a character
I would recommend this book to those who enjoy a romance with drama, action and the importance of family

Since I hadn't read the first two books in this series, I quickly read them before I dove into this book. These aren't long books - they are more like longer novellas. Out of the three books, I liked this one the best as it seemed most believable.

This is the story of Blake, the last of the bachelors out of the three men that went to grad school together. When his buddies Grayson and Daniel were singing the praises of committed relationships (as they had just found their significant others and easily converted from bachelorhood), Blake informed them he would never be in an exclusive relationship. After all, he never "dated" a girl more than once. Grayson & Daniel made a bet with Blake that he was unable to date a girl of their choosing more than 5 times in a row. In exchange, they would secure the hottest DJ around for Blake's nightclub opening night, The DJ was Blake's favorite and Blake didn't have the personal connection to the DJ like his friend Daniel did so he agreed to the bet. Shortly thereafter, Blake was injured by a baseball thrown by his buddies and needed first aid. The trainer they took him to suddenly became the subject of the bet.

Before the five dates were up, Blake found himself truly enjoying being in her presence. But what would happen if she found out he only went out with her because of a bet? Would she be able to get past that and allow a real relationship to bloom?

These three guys are supposedly alpha males. But I just never really saw the alpha male traits in them - they honestly just seemed like workaholics that initially avoided commitment like the plague.

This book was provided in exchange for an honest review. The opinions stated above are mine without biases.

This is a wonderful feel-good story. Silly, rich men. Have no idea how their silly games can injure other people. Alls well in the end with a HEA.

This book was gifted to me by the author and NetGalley in return for an honest review.

Leslie North consistently brings great characters and passionate romance to life. As a big fan North's, her name provokes an automatic one-click from me. I am always entertained.

Blake Harrison is the running joke with his two best friends, that he never dates a woman more than twice. This is when they bet him he can’t date a woman five times, before he calls it quits. As the owner of a Major League Baseball team, an owner of a record label, and a new nightclub, Blake is busy all the time. He doesn’t have time for romance or entanglement. His friends make the suggestion to ask his team’s Athletic Director of Training, Michelle Stewart, a beautiful woman with a sassy personality. Come to find out, she’s more than that, Michelle is also a Mom to five year old, Mollie, which he meets on their first date. A meet and greet with the players and their families, filled with activities for the kids. It seems that he is enjoying his time spent with Michelle and her daughter.

Michelle hasn’t had the best of luck with men, so she’s a bit leery that everything is going so well with Blake. Even her daughter likes him and Blake seems to feel the same way. The only issue is that she’s extremely attracted to him and so afraid of making another mistake in the romance department. Everything is going well till she overhears his friends discuss the bet they made with Blake. She knew this was too good to be true. Blake has never felt this way with another woman, so he’s unsure what to do now that Michelle knows the truth. Can he convince her this is how it started, but his feelings changed along the way, can he see his life without her.

I truly enjoyed this book. It is my first one by this author.

Expected posting date: I don't know yet, as I'm currently on hiatus from blogging.

Oooh shucks, that must have been the cutest marriage proposal I've ever read about 😍 The rest of the book definitely didn't wow me, but the prologue was adorable and worth mentioning.

Writing style: I've fallen in love with North's writing. She knows how to mix cute with passionate, adorable with badass. I read the books in this trilogy right after one another, because I just didn't want to read anything else but North's books 😳

Characters: Blake and Michelle were a bit too bland for my taste. Mollie was absolutely adorable and I would have loved to see a bit more interactions between her and Blake. There wasn't any chemistry to be found between Blake and Michelle, which made for a strange read 😂

Story: It felt a bit too copy paste from the other two books in the series. At least the other two had a clear trope, but this book felt like it was written as an afterthought. As if the author didn't quite like writing about Blake 🤷🏻‍♀️

Content warning: mentions and descriptions of abusive relationship.

This book definitely didn't wow me and I can't give it more than 2,5 stars. I love North's writing, but that couldn't save this book from a low rating.

Yay, another Billionaire's series of Leslie North. I was very happy to see three billionaire friends starring in this new series. This last one is about Blake, who has seen his friends Grayson (The Billionaire's Pregnant Competition) and Daniel (The Billionaire's Pretend Girlfriend) fall head over heels in love. He doesn't think this is in the cards for him. He is more of a wham-bam-thank-you-madam kinda guy, who doesn't date a woman twice.
So, of course, his friends come up with a bet to go out with the same female 5 times in a row. And the first woman to capture their eyes is Michelle.
Michelle is wary of men. She doesn't really have time for dating since her horrible ex left her, leaving her to raise her daughter Mollie all by herself. So when the owner of the baseball team she is training asks her on a tour, she is surprised. But after the tour, he asks her to accompany him on a family day for the baseball team. So, probably only strictly work dates. And although it is business only, Michelle can't help but feel attracted to her freaking boss.
When Grayson and Daniel tease Blake about not going out on real dates with Michelle, Blake realizes he is afraid to be turned down. Because these 'non-dates' are the best thing that ever happened to him. But will Michelle let him in? And should he tell her about the bet? Find out for yourself in this swoonworthy last part of the trio. Five out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

The Billionaire’s Girlfriend Bet by Leslie North

Steamy Romance that actually has a plot that you see the author has put effort into defining the characters. I have read other books by this author and She writes with a Cohesive purpose . This particular book was about not judging others based on previous relationships or even giving someone Or a book a chance that you normally wouldn’t because they have similarities to a bad friendship or encounter or it was a boring book.
In this particular case Blake was a rich guy who was the leave them type of guy and never made a commitment to anyone. The woman Michelle had a 5year old daughter Mollie, but had a horrible experience with a verbal abusive ex and of course she shied away from letting anyone getting to close to her or inviting them into her daughters world. Somehow she let Blake enter underneath her radar, but even more heartbreaking he got to know her daughter. She backed off and did not want him into her life and he was confused because for the first time, he was ready to commit and it was only supposed to be for five dates. His buddies made a bet because that was there thing to do. Somehow she ensnared him and he was caught in her web.
This book is well done and I think people will enjoy where it takes them and I hope people will find her other books because she is a very good author.
I received this book from NetGalley and i am willingly giving my thoughts and opinions!

This is probably my favorite of the three books in the series. The story is the most believable and the way the relationship unfolds is the most real. The basic premise of the book has been done before and the plot was predictable, but it worked for this book because the characters were likeable and the story length kept it from getting boring. I liked Michelle right from the beginning and thought she had very right to be upset with Blake when she found out why he first asked her out. Having Blake immediately take a liking to Mollie helped soften his "workaholic" personality and made you want Michelle to take a chance on him. Although, I will say that I was frustrated with Michelle when she refused to let Blake meet her parents when they came to town - she gets mad at him for pulling back when she made it pretty clear that she didn't want him to take their relationship too seriously.

The Billionaire's Girlfriend Bet
The Billionaire's Club: Book Three
In the series of 3 billionaires - the last of them Blake they are visiting the baseball club Blake now owns and he is knocked out by one of his friends and Michelle is the physical therapist who helps him and he takes a shine to her and the boys make a bet with Blake that he can’t last his five date limit.

The book is very slow compared to the other 2 in the series and I thought a bit lack lustre. A bit disappointing.

Thank you NetGalley, Relay Publishing and Leslie North for gifting me an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
I want to start by saying that at the time I’m writing this there are already 113 reviews and a 4.55 rating so it’s very safe to say I am in the minority here! I am also realizing I am just not a fan of the billionaire trope so salt meet opinion, opinion, salt.
I wasn’t even 8% into the book and I had already read that he owned a baseball team and a nightclub at least ten times. It was beyond overkill. I know the reader needs to understand he is very wealthy, but it just feels super immature and tacky to me when every billionaire cliche is written in the first 20 pages.
BUT, I am clearly the only one that thinks that because this book is very popular. So while I’m being honest about not liking it, I am also encouraging you to give this a try!
