Christmas Charms is a completely captivating holiday romance. It's whimsical, magical, and makes you a believer in seasonal hoopla. Ashley works in a jewelry store in NYC, living the dream. Her picture perfect holiday falls apart when she ends up not going to Paris and dumps her boyfriend. Returning home to upstate NY, a stranger bestows a charm bracelet that jingles every time Ashley makes a holiday wish come true. Home is a small community full of cheer and her old flame, Aiden. He's a hot fireman and I was enraptured. The story a,so has an adorable dog. There's nothing not to love about this charming holiday romance, it's perfect.

Loved reading this book. I highly recommend reading it. I couldn't wait to finish it. Hopefully it will be turned into a movie.

Such a cute story for the holidays! It definitely reads like a Hallmark movie and I would love to watch the movie too. I loved walking through Ashley and Aidan's stories and was eager to get to the ending. I loved the sweet, magical, Christmas moments with the charms on the bracelet and wished I could be there.
Highly recommend this story for those who enjoy romance, humor, and Christmas magic!
My thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC of the book. All opinions expressed here are entirely my own. No positive review was expected and no compensation received.

This is the perfect book if you want a Christmas romance that includes some magical elements. If the idea of a magical Christmas charm bracelet sounds like fun, then this is a perfect book for you.
This is full of the charm that is identified with Hallmark channel Christmas movies, and is told in an appealing first person present tense voice. The setting is a huge part of this book’s charm, and it takes place largely in the small town of Owl’s Lake, located in the shadow of the Adirondacks. Throw in a yellow Labrador, a supportive best friend who knows when to break out the gingerbread ice cream, an old high school flame who is now a fireman and chairman of the Christmas parade committee, and second chances, and it is the perfect holiday read.
It wouldn’t be a 5 star Hallmark story without the obligatory dud of a big city boyfriend at the beginning of the story who is in no way worthy of the heroine. A delightful bonus character in this book is the woman on the train who gives the main character, Ashley, the magical charm bracelet. I mean, what kind of Christmas magic does someone have to possess in order to pass along a magical charm bracelet?
This was a fun feel-good read.

Ashley thinks she's about to have the Christmas of her dreams--Paris, engagement, new promotion--but it all falls apart at the last minute. A trip home to spend the holidays with her parents seems the best way to soothe her soul. A chance meeting on the train with a woman who gives her a charm bracelet will change her life.
Once home, Ashley's life seems to be linked to the bracelet she can't remove. A dog adopts her, festive cookies, and many more charms, and each must come to fruition on its own--she can't force a charm to reveal a meaning. Then there's Aidan, her first love, now a firefighter. They're forever being thrown together by circumstance and literally falling down; he rescues her on more than one occasion.
As Ashley finds herself involved in her hometown's Christmas festivities, the magic of Christmas returns to her heart, while the small town joy wars with the career-minded goals of the big city. A recently unearthed childhood video opens Ashley's eyes to reveal her Christmas wishes in relation to the bracelet. With one foot constantly out the door, Ashley must figure out what she really wants in life, where she wants to live, and if there's room in her heart for a second chance love... with Aidan.
A magical, enchanting, and heartwarming Christmas story..

I loved Christmas Charms by Teri Wilson. As a fan of Hallmark movies and having loved Wilson's The Accidental Beauty Queen, I couldn't wait to read this story and even though I read it while it was 90 degrees out in the summer, it was the perfect Christmas escape!
When her original plan of spending Christmas in Paris doesn't happen, Ashley returns home to Owl Lake to spend the holiday with her family, a place she hasn't returned to in years since breaking up with her high school boyfriend. On the train ride from Manhattan to Owl Lake, Ashley wakes up with her seat mate's charm bracelet and a note to have the holiday of her dreams. As the charms on her bracelet start to predict things that are happening in Ashley's life, she realizes that the life she thought she wanted may not be it anymore, and as her and Aidan start to spend time together, that she may have been wrong in letting him go.
I enjoyed going on the journey with Ashley as she discovered what each charm meant and liked the growth she experienced throughout the book. I could not put the book down and towards the end, I had such a huge smile on my face reading it. And is there a more adorable character than Fruitcake?Such a great book and I would love to see this turned into one of Hallmark's Christmas movies that I can never get enough of!

I read this in one day, if that tells you anything at all. I couldn’t put it down. Ashley is a career-minded woman with big Christmas plans and dreams for the perfect Christmas. So career-minded that she left her high-school sweetheart and has been living what she thought was her dream life in New York City working for a dream company. But then things don’t go as she planned, she ends up with a Christmas charm, and rediscovers the magic of hope, and love. A second-chance romance, poignant and sweet, full of everything that makes Christmas special. Great writing that gave me chills, even in the heat of summer. Highly recommended.

Such a sweet Christmas romance. Perfectly light and frothy. Perfect to enjoy by the tree with a cup of hot chocolate. Loved this one!

So, you're on a train and a lady who looks like Mrs. Santa Claus leaves you with a charm bracelet and then disappears. Not just any bracelet- a magic bracelet. Ashley, a frustrated jewelry designer working a sales clerk job in a jewelry store in New York City goes home for Christmas and "jingle jingle" things start happening. She runs into old heartthrob Aiden, a love she chose to leave for her career, and a beautiful Christmas romance has the chance to unfold. Also, loved Fruitcake the dog. If you love Hallmark movies, this book will delight you!
I acquired this book through Net Galley and have left an honest review.

I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Okay, I spent well into the night reading this one which is really saying something for me. I normally don't read at night but when I do, it means that the book is keeping me awake and refuses to be left alone until the morning. This was one of those rare gems.
Ashely has it all. A great New York City job working at a prestigious jewelry store, a hot-shot boyfriend, and a planned Christmas in Paris. She never would have expected a sudden break up to leave her whirling. There's only one thing to do. Go back to her hometown and spend Christmas with her parents. When a chance encounter with what in retrospect may have been Mrs.Claus, Ashley is gifted with a special charm bracelet that may or may not be magical. The charms are coming to pass one by one and the last one, a coveted diamond ring. And then there's Aiden, the man she left behind. For a person who doesn't believe in Christmas magic, it's starting to grow on her.
What can I say other than this book was magical. The perfect book to curl up with this winter season...or in my case, lay I bed at two in the morning to finish.
This book is suitable for everyone and I recommend everyone read it. Simple as that..

Teri Wilson brings us Ashley living life in New York City working at an exclusive jewelry store with her best friend and boyfriend working there as well. Maya hints that boyfriend Jeremy picked up an engagement ring and Ashley gets very excited when Jeremy takes her out to dinner with a special surprise thrown in before they head off to Paris for the holidays with his family. With the disappointing surprise, Ashley ends up taking the train home to Owl Lake. She meets Betty, admires her bracelet, and pours out her life story. Betty tells her to dream big. Ashley realizes that she must have fallen asleep when she hears the conductor speaking to the passengers of their final destination. She finds Betty's bracelet with a note asking her to wear it and have the Christmas of her dreams.
Teri Wilson brings us a story showing what could happen when Christmas wishes and dreams come true. Ashley comes home to Owl Lake finding all the familiar faces and places she left behind all those years ago when she wanted to experience life outside her town. She realizes that events in her life start showing up as charms on the bracelet Betty had left behind for her. She shows us the charm of country life and how love conquers all.
I enjoyed following Ashley as she discovers the magic of love and Christmas. I look forward to reading more from this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I would like to thank NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing for this privilege.

This was such a wonderful, cozy Christmas novel. It's perfect for fans of Hallmark movies. I loved every word of this book!

This heartwarming Christmas tale is like drinking a warm cup of hot chocolate. The festive descriptions of Owl Lake during Christmas have me longing for a snow covered Christmas in upstate New York. This book is idyllic, full of charm and laugh out loud funny. Christmas Charms is the perfect holiday romance to cozy up and read this year. Now where can I find one of these magic charm bracelets??

Christmas Charms by Teri Wilson is a thoroughly enjoyable Christmas novel that perfectly captures the magic of the season.
Having left her small town of Owl Lake and her high school sweetheart behind her years ago to make a brand new life for herself in New York City, Ashley is living the dream. Or at least she thinks she is until a dinner with her boyfriend of three years goes horribly wrong. Instead of the proposal she's expecting, Ashley is hit with the hard truth that her boyfriend never wants to get married. With marriage off the table, Ashley breaks up with her boyfriend and trades her fancy trip to Paris in to spend the holidays with her parents in the town she left behind all those years ago.
On the train ride home, Ashley meets a lovely older woman named Betty who gifts her Christmas bracelet to Ashley in the hopes that Ashley will have the Christmas of her dreams. But strange things start happening to Ashley after she puts on the bracelet. First she discovers her parent's lakehouse is decorating exactly like a charm on the bracelet. Next she discovers an adorably devoted dog who looks exactly like another charm on the bracelet waiting for her on the doorstep. As Ashley begins to dip her toes into small town life again, she finds herself faced with a whirlwind of emotions every time she runs into her high school sweethearts. If Ashley opens herself up to the magic of Christmas, she just might get the HEA she longed for and discover what it's truly like to live the dream.
I didn't want to put Christmas Charms down! Teri Wilson's writing completely draws the reader in and makes them feel as if they're wrapped in a cozy blanket while enjoying hot cocoa by the Christmas tree. The first person narrative is so fitting for Ashley's personal journey and I loved watching her grow throughout the novel.
I'm already looking forward to Teri Wilson's next Hallmark novel.
Many thanks to NetGalley, Hallmark Publishing and Teri Wilson for the chance to read this digital ARC.
