This booknwas just ok. It does have a great message to enjoy and protect nature. However, both the story and the illustrations just left me wanting more.
This is a wonderful story that teaches children the basics about leaving nature the way you found it. It teaches a very simple lesson in a relatable way. It doesn’t shame the main character for their mistakes, but illustrates the character’s change of ideas after their experiences. The illustrations go hand in hand with the story to create an effective and memorable story and lesson.

The book has a short story about a about a nature loving monster. The pages are filled with colourful illustrations and easy narratives. It is perfect book for beginner readers and for story time for little ones.
This book is definitely meant for really, really small children (I would say below 2 years). It’s super short, with little text and minimalistic artstyle. Nothing too overwhelming or need for high concentration in it.
I think this was cute, but nothing special and not the deepest of meanings behind it.
I personally prefer children’s books that rhyme (so they can learn them by heart and „read“ with you), or have a more pedagogic hoffen agenda.
Thanks to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for sending me an e-ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is so cute. It's perfect for story-telling time. I love illustrations and the lesson within it. It touched me and I know, kids will love it.
