I always enjoy books by Debbie Macomber and this one is no exception. I particularly liked the setting and characters. Not your usual Christmas theme story. Such a fun read!

Jingle All the Way is a quick, easy read about choosing what priorities in life mean the most, especially during the holidays. I received an ARC from the publisher and NetGalley and this is my honest review.

3 1/2 stars rounded down to 3.

I wanted to love this book. I did. My first issue was that it didn't feel like a Christmas book. A majority of it took place in the Amazon and just didn't have a Christmas feel. My second issue was just the whole believability of it all. Two people meet on a boat trip. And in two weeks (where for on week you're VERY VERY ill) you fall so madly in love that you can't function without the person? I don't know. Maybe I'm a cynic (coming from someone who met her husband online 16 years ago) but it just didn't work for me.

I ADORED her parents and siblings though.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are mine, and mine alone.

A cute and cozy holiday book. I liked that part of it was set in the jungle. It’ll make you want to take a jungle cruise.

A delightful story about finding love in the most unusual circumstances and with the most unlikely people. I truly enjoyed this one. The Amazon river cruise especially. In the end it's about finding home again and that was the best thing of all.

This was a sweet romance but really did not have much Christmas in the story line. When you have an employee who messes everything up and makes so many mistakes, why would you let her plan your month long vacation with out even double checking things. A luxury cruise turns into an Amazon Cruise

I have been looking forward to this book release since Feb 25th, when first saw was in works.
Debbie Macomber is a Must-Read TOP Author for me! "Angels Everywhere" book changed my world. I got her into the 3 local libraries, and our local book store as they had not heard/had no books yet.
I LOVE DEBBIE MACOMBER!!!

This is another book that will warm your hearts and toes for the holidays!

I highly recommend!!

I want to thank Net Galley and Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine for the opportunity to read this book and give an honest opinion. In all honesty, I am a huge fan of Debbie Macomber and have a hard time putting put one of her books down once I pick it up. This was no exception. A workaholic woman, Daisy aka Everly, runs a successful real estate business with her friend Jack. Jack's niece works for her and she is a hot mess. Jack suggests that Everly take the month of December off and go on a cruise before returning home to Indiana to spend the holidays with her family. The assistant decided to be mean and booked her on an amazon river cruise where she meets a naturalist named Asher. (side note: maybe my soul mate is lost in the amazon and can't find his way out). Many great support characters (the Browns are a cute couple who befriend Everly). This is a must read and such a great book. Happy Holidays oh and maybe you can add a copy of Grandma Ruth's fudge with the book!

Debbie Macomber Christmas novel. Really, that says it all. It's sweet, predictable, and not very realistic. If you are in the right mood it is a pleasant way to pass a few hours but no, there is nothing special about this.

I did like the setting--a cruise down the Amazon River. Usually when you think of cruises you think of those huge ships that are floating luxury resorts sailing from beach to beach or tourist city to tourist city but this book reminded me that you can take cruises on smaller ships to more unique locations.

Instead of the holidays providing a jingle in her step, Daisy "Everly" Lancaster is executing marching orders to her wayward assistant, Annette. When that ship sails, her partner sets forth a mandatory month's relaxation. Annette deploys revenge by instead of booking a luxury cruise, Everly finds herself debarking on a no-frills Amazon voyage. Will she get on board be left stranded in the Amazon without cell service?

#JingleAlltheWay provides Debbie Macomber signature lighthearted merriment with a seasonal twist. Thank you to #NetGalley and the publisher for the early read in exchange for an honest review. Reading as part of my Christmas in July offerings, I enjoyed the adventure.

It wasn't what I expected as her other Christmas books are more holiday centric such as the Mrs. Miracle stories. Upon further reflection, the tale teaches Everly more about the value of Christmas and her family than celebrating the season. Debbie Macomber's fans will enjoy the read especially armchair traveling to Brazil while being stranded at home during the pandemic.

Jingle All the Way by Debbie Macomber. Was looking forward to another Christmas story by Ms Macomber. All primed and ready to read a snow filled, jingling bells, sleigh rides, love and family story and to meet the pup pictured on the cover. Ms Macomber first took us on a cruise of the Amazon Rainforest before Daisy (Everly) headed home for Christmas. As interesting as this trip was, I did miss the traditional holiday tale. As always Ms Macomber does write a sweet romantic story.

Thank you to the publisher, author, and NetGalley for the opportunity to preview the book.

This book kind of reminds me of The Christmas Carol, but it has a very different ending. I loved it. It's an easy read, I finished it in a day. I loved the characters especially Asher. I think he was afraid to fall in love but he let nothing stand in his way, after a while. Like other Debbie Macomber Christmas books, I can see this one turning into a movie. I would be very curious on who would play Asher. I am grateful that Netgalley let me read this in exchange for an honest review.

Everly Lancaster's boss insists she take the month of December off for vacation. As an act of revenge for attempting to fire her, her assistant books Everly on a two week guided cruise down the Amazon River. Everly gets on the boat thinking it is a luxury cruise, then she is horrified to realize she is going to have to go two weeks with no internet, and is going to be limited to two showers a week . After she finally reconciles herself to the situation, she decides to make the most of it. What she doesn't expect is to fall in love with the ship's naturalist, Asher Adams. Falling in love with her is the last thing he expected or wanted either. They come from two very different worlds, so how could they ever make it work? When the cruise is over, and she goes home to Indiana for the remaining 2 weeks of the month to enjoy Christmas with her family, she leaves heartbroken, but resolved to move past her shipboard romance.
This was the typical Debbie Macomber book.... a light, quick romance with a happy ending. I was a little disappointed in that it didn't seem much like a Christmas book, since almost all of the book took place in the Amazon Rainforest. Only the last few chapters had a Christmas theme. Other than that, I really enjoyed it.

A nice feel-good book. This guy was pretty wishy-washy, though. She was a much stronger person than him.

It was nice read for a summer day.
Not Debbie's typical.

This book was gifted to me by the author and NetGalley in return for an honest review.

You cant lose with a Debbie Macomber book. As I expected it was a cute, quick read. A feel-good, hallmark type romance. I am betting the movie will come next year. I was taken aback by the abrupt change. There was less Christmas then I thought there was going to be.

I really enjoyed this book it was a good break from reality. The characters were well developed and I enjoyed the little pieces of comedy that were included in the story. I feel like Everly/Daisy really was lost and so consumed with work that she was missing out on life. The Amazon trip was not what she expected but it was truly a life changing trip. Thank you for allowing me to read this book , I will be recommending this to my friends.

A sweet, adventurous romance!

Everly is a partner in her real estate company in Chicago. She is very dedicated to her job- working long hours every week, and rarely taking time off. After being told by the CEO that she is stressed and needs to take a vacation, her assistant books her on a cruise to the Amazon rainforest. Reluctantly, Everly travels to Brazil and embarks on an adventure of a lifetime. There she meets naturalist Asher Adams, a passionate man who helps Everly in more ways than one. With a renewed spirit, and the holiday’s approaching, Everly finishes her vacation spending Christmas with her family, finally realizing what is important to her.

Like most Debbie Macomber books this one is a cute, quick read. A feel-good, hallmark type romance. My favorite character was Asher, he seemed like such a great guy. I also appreciated the Amazon scenery and storyline, which was different compared to her other books.

However, while I liked the idea of this story, for me it felt like I was reading 2 different books: the first half taking place on the Amazon, seeing Everly and Asher getting to know each other, learning about the wildlife, and getting swept up in the adventure was vastly different from the second half of Everly visiting her family and partaking in holiday traditions. Overall the book didn’t feel very Christmas-like to me, I would have changed the title to reflect the Amazon storyline since that was majority of the book.

A special thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for sending me an ARC!

Everly is a corporate woman dedicated to her career and not much else. A disgruntled administrative assistant books her on a required vacation, sending Everly deep into the Amazon rainforest. The trip is enlightening to Everly in more than one way, and she heads into the Christmas holidays with a new perspective on life. This book is a light holiday read, with a predictable storyline - a feel-good story.

Definitely not one of my favorites by her. Too much Amazon Rainforest, not enough Christmas. It was a quick, easy read but I was disappointed with the content.

Daisy, known as Everly to her customers, runs a successful real estate business. Always feeling the odd man out she hasn't been home for Christmas for several years. But this year she returns home after having her heart broken - not that she didn't have a ton of adventures on a cruise along the way. As in all of Ms Macomber's books, all's well, as it ends well - just as we expect and in her novels although how they get there is different in every one!
