I love Debbie Macomber's books and this was no different. Everly and Asher were so much fun and I devoured this book in a day. If you are looking for a holiday romance, I definitely recommend this one.

This was such a fun read! I don't read a lot of this genre, so I had a general preconceived notion about this book, but this wasn't what I expected. The cruise.... well without spoiling too much, it definitely threw me for a loop. Wow. What an adventure!!!
From just glancing at the cover, one would assume a warm cozy Christmas adventure...but I like how the holidays didn't saturate the storyline. This is a book one could read any time of year. I would recommend this book

Everly Lancaster is a successful business woman, a workaholic. She and her business partner have established themselves as a highly successful on-line real estate company. Everly shoulders the primary interface with clients and is on the verge of burn out (thanks in a large part to Annette, her assistant and the niece of her partner Jack), when Jack orders her to take a vacation for the month of December: go on a cruise, visit her family for Christmas. When she agrees, she doesn’t expect the cruise Annette books for her. Instead of a relaxing luxury cruise, Annette has booked her on an eco-cruise on a 40-passenger boat to sail down the Amazon River in Brazil, with side trips into the jungle. Not quite the resting and rejuvenating cruise she was planning for.

The only bright spot on the cruise is Asher Adams, the ship's naturalist who is knowledgeable, caring and oh so handsome. The first few days of the cruise are disastrous, but once she’s settled in and recuperated, Everly finds the trip, and Asher, fascinating. While their relationship grows, they realize they come from two different worlds, worlds that neither wants to give up. Both need to do some serious soul searching about their priorities and their future. To sort their thoughts, Everly goes home to Indiana to spend Christmas with her family and Asher heads for Chicago to visit his older brother.

I usually love Debbie Macomber Christmas books, but I found this one less to my liking. The first part of the book was entertaining and interesting – the ornery assistant, the catastrophic beginning to the cruise, her relationship with Asher. The last part of the book just didn’t fit with the beginning. I felt it was too forced in trying to come up with a Christmas link. I have no idea how the title related to the book. I give the book 3 stars for the entertaining beginning, but I can’t recommend it as a Christmas book. She has so many more Christmas-themed books that are much more enjoyable. I received the book from NetGalley as an Advanced Reader Copy. The opinion is my own.

Daisy (Everly) Lancaster is a hard-working real estate executive. She and her business partner Jack have built a really great business but it seems like most of the work falls to Daisy. She’s single and living in the Windy City, Chicago Illinois. After an incident with her business partner’s niece, Jack insist that she takes the month of December off and tells his niece to book her on a luxury cruise to Brazil. When she arrives she realizes that the cruise was payback for the incident at work. Instead of being booked on a luxury cruise she’s booked on an Amazon river adventure. On her way to the boat she’s been by a mosquito and spends the first half of her trip sick in her bed while the naturalist Asher helps take care of her and they get to know each other. After some very interesting mishaps Asher and Daisy begin to have feelings for one another. But their lives are so different from one another can we make this work with him in Brazil and her in Chicago? You’ll have to check out the book to learn the answers!
It was a quick read that I really enjoyed! It’s always nice to get into the Christmas season a little ahead of time.

Jingle All The Way by the prolific author Debbie Macomber is everything you want and expect from holiday romances: too busy for love protagonists, exotic locales, break ups, make ups and family Christmas time together.

Everly Lancaster is a real estate agent workaholic. She never takes a day off and even missed Christmas at her mom's house last year. After an embarrassing work event and her trying to fire her assistant, the boss's niece, she is told to take December off and try to de stress.

The problem is her vindictive assistant books her a cruise to the Amazon forest instead of a warm luxury beach locale. Once there her worse nightmare become real: No Wi Fi!

Luckily a distraction is on board by the name of Asher Adams. He is a naturalist who can teach her all about the beauty of the forest and maybe change her nightmare vacation into a fairy tale ending.

This book is a Hallmark Christmas movie ready to be filmed. We know where it is going but we love the journey that takes us on this enjoyable escape. The first half is not very holiday minded as our hopeful couple is on their two week adventure. When they get back to real life and the holidays there is much friction but a whole lot of family and holiday cheer.

So if you are in the mood to escape into some romance and get those holiday vibes started I highly recommend you Jingle All The Way to reading this story.

I absolutely adored this novel from start to finish. Such a funny and sweet love story with the lead character taking an exciting trip to a destination she ordinarily would never go. I loved how she learned more about herself and was able to find true love. I adore Debbie Macomber and look forward to her next novel.

“Most people are so intent on getting where they’re going, they miss out on the best parts of life.”

Well if this isn’t the most perfect book to get me in that Hallmark movie, hot chocolate, Christmas decorating mood, I’m not sure what is!

Everly is a workaholic. She has built a very successful business from the ground up, but she doesn’t know how to delegate work or take a day off. Pushed by her partner to take a much needed vacation, and at the mercy of her petulant ex assistant (who is also her partners niece), Everly agrees to take a long overdue month off. Once she gets to her destination...the fun begins 🤪.

Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing for this ARC in exchange for an honest review. This lighthearted, sweet read is just the thing you need in your life right now. For as much as I read, I’m not sure that I’ve ever even read a Christmas themed book 😱. I’m so glad that I started with this little gem and I cant wait to devour all of the holiday themed books this season!

I LOVE Debbie Macomber but this book was a flop for me. I feel like the author had a story she wanted to publish and then was told she had to make it a Christmas story so she added It to the last few chapters. Most of this book takes place on an Amazon cruise. No snow, no decorations, no Christmas cookies. Overall I found the actual story enjoyable, but predictable. If you are looking for a cute romance then read this book! Just don’t expect to be dashing through the snow like her normal a Christmas stories.

A favorite author of mine. This book is not really focused on Christmas but does include a family gathering close to Christmas and events that occur during December. The title is somewhat deceiving but the story is sweet and short. No spoilers but the ending seemed rushed and quick and the epilogue jumps 3 years forward . Family oriented story that is typical for this author whose works I enjoy reading. Overall a good read,
I received this book as an Advanced reader copy and was under no obligation to provide a review. The opinions expressed are my own. Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.

Everly (Daisy) is a workaholic who is forced into a vacation. A vacation she didn't want or see coming. Her assistant booked her a revenge cruise. But maybe it was the best thing to ever happen to her.

Another easy read from Macomber.
Loved it!

I've enjoyed most everything I've ever read by this author. Her books allow me to fantasize about a world where boy meets girl, they fall in love and live happily ever after. This one was no different. Of course, the couple have to be "star crossed lovers"in that they come from two different worlds, so we get to follow along while they break up and get back together again. I wouldn't really call this a "spoiler" as it virtually happens in ever single romance I've ever read. Debbie Macomber never has anything vulgar or risqué and she always throws in some statement about faith. So, for those of us who have had our fill of vulgarity and copious amounts of pre-marital sex, then this book is for you. This one has the added enjoyment of reading about family gatherings at the holidays, but it's not your typical holiday romance.

I only gave it four stars because I guess I'm getting more cynical in my old age because the plot, while a nice relaxing read, it all too predictable.

Thank you to NetGalley for giving me a copy of this book for my unbiased opinion.

Thank you to NetGalley and Ballantine Books for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Everly Lancaster is a hard driving business executive who built her business from the ground up, in partnership with jack Campbell. With Everly being a literal workaholic, it appeared as if Jack was barely pulling his weight. As tensions mount between the two, Jack suggests that what Everly really needs is an assistant who can help her. He insists his niece would be perfect for the job.

The niece makes one mistake after another which drives Everly to the point of firing her. Jack’s solution to Everly’s stress is that she needs to take a holiday vacation and new assistant Annette is the perfect one to plan it for her. It all sounds great on paper – a cruise in Brazil. What Everly doesn’t realize until she is shipboard is that it’s an ecotourism cruise and she’s brought all the wrong clothing and she has no idea what is going to happen next.

What I liked about the book: First, I always enjoy a Debbie Macomber book. Debbie set this one up well, with character Everly landing in an unexpected situation completely unprepared for what comes next. I liked that the author gave Everly the opportunity to learn about what’s important in life beyond her success in business. The cruise’s naturalist, Asher Adams, faces many of the same feelings as Everly. He is “married” to his career and cruises serially to avoid focusing on a personal life (the one he doesn’t have). He too needs to learn to recognize an opportunity for a better life.

What could be better? Okay so it was a bit formulaic and expected in terms of how the romance developed and the plot proceeded. But you know what? It didn’t matter to the reader. It was very enjoyable nonetheless. Unless it’s a murder mystery it really doesn’t matter much.

Great story, good characters and sweet ending.

Jingle All The Way is a wonderful Christmas romance by Debbie Macomber. In the story, Jingle All The Way, Everly thinks that the office assistant has booked her on a fabulous cruise. However, she finds out when she reaches her destination that she is actually booked on a Amazon cruise which is not on a luxury cruise ship with the usual amenities. To make matters worse, Everly experiences a few mishaps along the way. However, she meets Asher, the ship’s naturalist who adds a little romance into her life. If you enjoy Christmas romances with some humor and adventure mixed in then Jingle All The Way is a book that you should definitely read!

Are you looking for a charming, feel-good Christmas romance? If so, then look no further. This book tells the story of Daisy/Everly whose vacation trip took a wrong turn, resulting in her having an unexpected adventure with lasting consequences. This was my first Christmas read for the year, and I am happy to welcome the Christmas season with such an amazing read. The character development was well executed and whenever you put the book down, your mind wandered to it asking what happens next? Impossible to put down!

There are strict rules in our house about all things Christmas being off limits until after Thanksgiving dinner....BUT when I saw this one on @netgalley I could not resist!

I have been struggling to finish books lately, I currently have three other books I’m reading or listening to. When I began Jingle All the Way by @debbiemacomber I could NOT put it down!

Debbie Macomber never disappoints! When you need a feel-good book, she’s your author!

Everly eats, breaths, sleeps her job at Easy Home, a company she started after college with her friend and classmate Jack. Jack is convinced Everly needs a vacation from her 60-hour work weeks and insists she take the month of December off. Jack asks Everly’s assistant (his less-than-competent niece) to book Everly a relaxing, tropical vacation. But when Everly arrives in Brazil, she discovers this is anything but the relaxing cruise vacation she was expecting.

Add it to your holiday reading list now!!

When I see a book by Debbie Macomber, it goes right on my to be read list & she never disappoints. In this story, Everly has gone from middle child to a driven executive. Her boss insists she take a month off since she hasn’t taken a vacation in forever. Everly hasn’t always been the most pleasant to work with if you don’t do your job well. A vengeful assistant books her on a cruise but doesn’t tell her it’s a trip down the Amazon.

Ascher is the naturalist in a two week trip to the Amazon. He loves spreading his knowledge & trying to raise awareness of the area. He could tell Everly was out of place & tried to help her out. As the trip continues, their feelings begin to deepen. At the end, will they go their separate ways or give their relationship a chance? Will Everly go back to her old ways or use her newly awakened knowledge?
