This was a book that was difficult for me growing up as an Ali fan and watching him fight I felt like this book was almost like his brother was trying to tear down the memory of him. Maybe I got the wrong take but that is what I felt. Sorry.

First, I would really like to thank NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read an advance copy of this e-book.
I'm about three quarters way through the book and I definitely will finish it..
The reason it is taking me longer than usual to finish reading this biography is because I'm watching so many Youtube video clips of Ali's fights from the beginning of his boxing career at age 22 until the end at age 36.
It's a lot of fun and so interesting to read Rahaman Ali's detailed description of his brother's boxing career and also follow along each fight chronologically by watching the Youtube videos. This was my idea to turn the book reading experience into an interactive Youtube one.
Rahaman Ali's book reveals so many fascinating details about his brother's personal and family life and also his brother's personality strengths and weaknesses and his religious and race relations beliefs.
I also really enjoyed reading the short anecdotes about the famous celebrities Muhammed Ali met during his professional boxing life.
Fortunately, I'm old enough to have been a Muhammad Ali boxing fan during most of his career.
I give this book 5 stars.

I was very disappointed with this book. Even though this comes from his brother, it just didn’t feel authentic while reading it -instead it seemed to be someone with a grudge. With so many good books about Muhammad Ali out there, I thought this would provide a fresh perspective on his life. I didn’t believe it did.
