A sweet read on finding yourself and believing in yourself. Love the story between Cora and Trent. Love their ups and downs and how they make each other a better person.

I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
This book was a mixed bag for me. The first half was very slow and I had a hard time connecting with the characters or their story. I actually put it down several times before I finally finished the book. Once I hit the halfway point it changed and I found myself immersed in the characters' lives and wanting them to get their HEA ending. I fell in love with Cora and Trent couldn't wait to see them find their love story. The charm of the story came to life on the pages.
The author is on my must read authors' list and normally I'd give all of her books a 5+ star rating. It makes me sad to rank this one lower and give it 3.5 stars.
This was a really good read. I really liked Cora, she was an interesting character, desperate to change her life, but still wanting to please her difficult parents. She was clumsy, honest to a fault and extremely insecure, but it was easy to warm to her, and for you to care about her. Trent was just dreamy, dealing with his own insecurities and determined to stay single. When the two are thrown together, they grow closer, despite flooded bathrooms and a glitter mishap getting in the way. They brought out of the best of each other, but also forced each other to face their past. A very good read
