Another great Zanetti book! I love the dark protectors, and I was so excited when she announced a new book line. I love Adare, and I was so excited to read his story! Adare and Grace have interested since the book before. (No spoilers, but you definitely have to read the previous books! There is so much backstory about these two!) Their mating was so interesting, and there was so much uncertainty. I couldn't put the book down, and I ended up downloading the audiobook so I could listen while I worked! There was no way I could put the book down to finish later! Another five star read from me!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book.
A hybrid vampire that twisted physics to become something more to save the world... oh, and he was a highlander several hundred years ago.
An enhanced female who happens to be one of the three keys needed to save the world.
And they were mated while she was in a coma 5 years ago, then went their separate ways, but now their enemies are after them.
Yup, I read it practically in one sitting! Grace and Adare were incredible. She was hiding stuff from everyone, then wanted to keep trying to save all the vampires and demons. And he was all locked down.
And add in their exes and old friends, and keeping secrets from factions within the Realm. There was a lot going on.
It is a fun romp. The plot was pretty basic and ran the basic tenets of hybrid romance novels. The characters felt a little one dimensional and didn’t hold my attention as well as they could have. I didn’t find myself invested in their story outcomes
Loved this book! The entire series is awesome but there was just something extra special about this one.
I loved it! Adare and Grace have a great, adventurous story. I love this series and can't wait for the next book in this series.
This book got its grip on me and I could not put it down even when I wanted to (because I do have to get up for work eventually). I had to borrow the rest of the books from the library to read the other stories in the series! Some parts of the book were almost too painful to read--but I just had to keep reminding myself that it does happen in real life. Thank you for a great read and a new series to follow, Rebecca Zanetti, netgalley and Kensington Publishing! Giving this book 2 thumbs up!
There are creatures among us who are not human. They are vampires, demons, witches... They are insanely beautiful, extremely talented, lethally skilled, and immortal. We cannot see them unless they make themselves known. Oh, and they are at war amongst themselves.
So learns Grace Cooper, a world-renowned photographer who got caught up in the war, ended up with a life-threatening brain injury and was saved by our main male character, Adare O'Cearbhaill, an immortal vampire. The saving involved Grace and Adare being mated for life, without the consummation, and without Grace's permission. since she was in a coma. If this sounds preposterous, then you will sympathize with Grace. She is not having this! She begins a journey down the Sea of Denial which leads her into all sorts of dangerous situations, The mating bond remains intact, and Adare is the lucky man who gets to save her, again and again, without even a thank you.
Reading how Grace and Adare finally resolve their differences was fulfilling and left me eager to continue exploring the world and its characters. I enjoy reading this series.
Rebecca Zanetti is one of those authors that hits it out of the part every single time. I shouldn’t even be surprised at this point. GUARDIAN’S GRACE is Ms. Zanetti at her very best. Lovers of the series have been watching our hero and heroine simmer as secondary characters in previous books, and we finally get to see their chemistry boil over in the latest Dark Protectors book.
Our hero (HELLO sexy Scottish vampire), Adare, and human heroine, Grace, have been in an arranged mating for five years to save her life after a mysterious illness (my catnip plot!). Adare thinks he’s on a mission that will lead to his death, and Grace doesn’t want to give up her independence. They were okay living like that for five years… until the Adare finds out Grace is taking reckless chances with her safety.
This book delivers all the spice and action I have come to expect with a Zanetti novel, and effortlessly continues the overarching series plot. The series is like a snowball that keeps building and growing. Adare surprised me. I was expecting a Zanetti alpha hero – and he did deliver on that point – but he was also thoughtful and took the time to understand Grace’s concerns and point of view. I really believed in them as a couple by the end of the book. I am impressed that the non-stop action didn’t overshadow the romance one iota.
Overall, Zanetti is a comfort read for me. Every time I open one of her books, I know I can count on fully fleshed out characters, a fun plot, plenty of banter, and a hefty helping of steam. Can this series continue on forever?? I need Benny’s book immediately; that teaser killed me!

I enjoyed this one and it was a good addition to the series but I wanted a little bit more from the long awaited Grace and Adare. Their storyline was solid and action packed like you can always expect from this author's books but the relationship wasn't developed as much as I'd have liked. Even though they have been mated for 5 years, they truly didn't know each other that well, or at least Grace didn't know very much about Adare and his past. And it wasn't talked about at all really, and with how closed off Adare was, I didn't feel like we got to know him very well. I definitely really enjoy the ongoing storyline in this series, I recommend starting from the beginning if you are starting this series because it reads so much better that way. Really loved spending some time with past characters, and beyond excited for Benny's book next, I love him so I really hope its good. Overall I'd say it was a good book but not one of my favourites in the series.

Guardian's Grace is a full-throttle, kick ass book with lots of action, surprises, dialogue and danger!
I couldn't put the book down! Ms. Zanetti's gift for world-building is truly remarkable, her character development is on point and her ability to marry the two gives readers an exceptional reading experience!
I absolutely loved Adare's book. He is a complicated warrior and it was nice to find out more about him. I thought he and Grace made a great match. Loved the secondary characters too and I can't wait for Benny's story!
The 12th book in a series might give someone pause as to how can an author keep people coming back for so many books but Zanetti just keeps on going with a great paranormal vampire romance and non stop action.
I really enjoyed this book! You can read my full review on my blog, Flora's Musings
What did I like about Guardian’s Grace?
I haven’t read many books by Rebecca Zanetti but I find her writing style very easy to read. As I’ve only read one other Dark Protectors ’ book, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I became engaged into the world of vampires, demons, Fae and the various hybrid variations.
I was impressed with our heroine, Grace, from the very first chapter.
I connect to a story more when the lead female character is intelligent, resilient, self-reliant and has plenty of gumption. Grace proved herself time and time again to be a great protagonist! But it’s not just the heroine who has to win me over in a paranormal romance. The hero has too as well. Adare, our hero, was a work-in-progress. My modern sensibilities baulked many a time at his caveman mentality and antics. However, by the end of the book he became totally deserving of Grace in my eyes.
The conflict, action and various threats in this tale felt non-stop which kept me on the edge of my seat.
I enjoyed that the plot in Guardian’s Grace isn’t just focused on our main romantic couple. It’s got a few threads weaving through it. Some were resolved in this book while others were left to continue through the series. It kept me guessing. What would happen next?
Was there anything I didn’t like?
OK, so obviously I really enjoyed this book. However, there were niggles, hence the drop to a 4-star rating.
Firstly, I had a few qualms with the world-building. I often felt a bit lost reading Guardian’s Grace. For example, I couldn’t picture some of the settings and the family connections had me scratching my head. Rebecca weaves certain re-cap information into this book. However, this is a complex world with multiple species. Plus, there are a huge number of characters! As with all long-running series, a lot has happened. 😉
Secondly, putting aside Adare’s caveman mentality which I’ve already mentioned above, I didn’t understand some of the actions of our so-called “good-guys”. I’m sure that as a new reader, my lack of knowledge about the characters, understanding the dynamics of relationships and knowing the story to date has affected my perception of this book. I bet if I’d been reading Dark Protectors from the beginning, I’d have given it 5 stars.
Basically, what I’m saying is…
I really enjoyed Guardian’s Grace. It’s got everything that I look for in a good story. There’s action, romance, humour, a gripping storyline and some well-written passion.
My thanks to the publisher, Kensington Books (via Netgalley), for the advanced ebook in exchange for a candid review.

I know PNR hasn't exactly been en vogue for a while but Rebecca Zanetti is one of those authors who is still doing it right after all these years. What a treat for fans that she has picked up this series again, and I have to say, she hasn't missed a beat with these books centered on the Seven.
This is (finally) Grace and Adaire's story and I've been looking forward to this one for a while. Fans will remember he mated her while she was in a coma (without the sex, because...ew) and saved her life. The past five years, he's allowed her to live apart from him and to enjoy her freedom, since he knows his path will likely lead to his death and he thinks he's incapable of love. But all bets are off when he finds out she's been taking chances with her safety. Even worse, the mating is fading and she could fall back into a coma at any time unless something changes.
Like all the heroes in this world, Adaire can be bossy and a little smug about it at times. But what's different here and what I really enjoyed was that, for once, the man had to risk something in mating the women. It feels like the ladies always have to make difficult choices and sacrifices, but this time it was the guy. So... rock on.
There's great chemistry between these two, and as always, Zanetti does a fantastic job weaving the story into the larger series plot. --I am so excited to see what happens with Hope, Pax, and Drake. (Just like I loved the Janie arc that came before.) I'm rooting for Pax, y'all.
And I'm stoked for Benny and Karma. Can't wait to see what happens next.
I have voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this title given to me via NetGalley. Wow what can I say about this title it was just an awesome read. This book was just something so wonderfully different I’ve never quite read anything like this. You should read to find out you won’t be disappointed. I’m definitely going to read more by this author.
This was my first book by this Autor and I have to say I'm impressed.
The characters have a genuine appeal and chemistry that drew me in from page one. Their relationship felt very natural and you feel like you are in the book when reading

The twelfth book in the Dark Protectors, Guardian’s Grace is a compelling addition to the series. Grace and Adair are alluring and conflicted, the story is well written and engaging and the support characters are dynamic, I highly recommend this story and series.
This is the first book I've read by author Rebecca Zanetti. While Grace and Adare were the centre of this story, there is a lot more going on with other characters that build on the overarching storyline of the series. This book is action-packed, steamy, suspenseful and had a couple of plot twists that I didn't see coming! I will definitely be going back to read the earlier books in this series, and look forward to Benjamin's story next!
I must say, I love this book, so is Adare, next to Dage, he is my 2nd most fave person.
The book was surprisingly interesting, and the mystic that is behind everything is good. Although, I do wish that the conflict between everyone should just...
With every book that we read in the new Dark Protectors books we are given a wider and more dangerous situation. And each faction is being divided cause of their reasoning, but I find it so timely...I do not want to speculate, but as a reader, I cannot help but draw a bloody future. If each coalition will not understand why The Seven were created, it might end their world.
Good work and looking forward for more!

This book, just like the rest of the series, is amazing. LOVE it! Adare and Grace are two of my favorites. I love all the characters, but they're in the top 3. It was a similar plot to SHADOWED, in that the female is ill and the male tries to save her by mating her. These two are no less likable though. They have to realize that working together is what's necessary. Quit trying to save each other independently, but I do love how each is independent. Strong characters give a strong story. I adored this book. I raced through, and can't wait for more.
This is one of my favorite series. Seriously, can it just go on forever? I mean, write a sequel for each couple. I'm not kidding. I would read every word.
I received an ARC but I will buy a copy too. I buy all of them. LOVE THIS SERIES! The tension. The action. The lust to love. More. More. More.
I received an advanced reader copy to leave an honest review of this book. I have read many of Rebecca Zanetti's works, most recently her suspense more so. I am a big fan of her works and her writing style. I would recommend all of her series so far.
So I have read most of this series years ago but am just now getting back into the most recent books. This one definitely got me re-hooked so now I want to reread what I already have and catch up.
This book follows Adare, a member of the seven, and Grace a photographer. Years ago, Adare mated Grace while she was in a coma to save her life. So it was not a full mating in the traditional sense. Now years later, Grace's health is failing and she puts herself in danger and on the enemy radar when she tries to find a work around without telling her mate. Adare, as an Alpha immortal, is not enthused needless to say when he finds. This book is just another piece of the war that the immortals are fighting with their enemy (the Kurjans) and new warfare ensues.
So I would definitely recommend reading some of the other series first before reading this book. I would recommend all the books (I own most of them if that is any recommendation). You could read this as a standalone but you will be missing a lot of the history.
