Guardian’s Grace is a great addition to the Dark Protectors Series. As usual, Rebecca Zanetti, creates characters that you can relate to and cheer for. There is drama and humor intertwined throughout the story. Adare O’Cearbhaill is a soldier through and through. Because of his sense of honor and duty he has tied himself to Grace Cooper. She is a strong, independent and determined women. Nothing like he is accustomed to. Their interactions are humorous and will make you chuckle. Grace does not understand her importance to the race. After being apart for a while, they find them must work together to defeat their enemy. No mater how much she fights it, Grace cannot ignore her attraction to the mate!
We finally get to Grace's and Adare's story. The setup for their story has been coming for several books. How can a couple be sort of mated? What happens if the mating isn't completed?
Grace's Guardian has lots of action and romance. It's a 4 out of 5. The book fills in the series and sets up the next book. There are plenty of scenes with familiar characters.
It helps to read the previous books in the series.
Guardian's Grace is another fantastic romance by Ms. Zanetti. It's fast-paced and filled with excitement. Good hot sizzling scenes. Truly original.
Adare and Grace's story is finally here! I admit I worried how these two were going to go since we knew from the beginning their story would be different.
I was hoping that the reason they didn't truly become a couple until years later would have a good transition. As strongly possessive as these men are in this series, I needed Adare to have a good reason for the wait. I think the author handled this perfectly.
We also find out what Grace's ability is and it's pretty cool. If I could have a super power, this one would come in handy when dealing with others. I won't say more than that so I don't spoil things.
There is so much I would love to talk about, but again..spoilers. Let me just say we learn more in this ongoing battle with the enemy, more about Hope, and I'm a little sad about a twist that happened. It just makes me very impatient to get the next book. I need to see this all work out!
Looking for a Cowboy (Heart of Texas #5) by Donna Grant... Just loving this series and the people of Clearview and their close friendships. Your will enjoy the series..but this book can be read as a stand-alone. Cooper Owens all around good guy and great friend and P.I. Marlee Frampton who is searching for the killer of her twin sister and her missing baby. This story has suspense, horrific crimes, twists and turns, fast paced action and steamy stuff all leading to a climatic but very HEA. I can't wait for book six.Reasons I enjoyed this book:Action-packed Easy-to-read Entertaining Great world building Happily Ever After Page-turner Romantic Scary Steamy Tear-jerker Tragic Unpredictable Witty Wonderful characters
A big thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is part of a series, but reads well as a stand alone. There are a lot of people in these books and so someone unfamiliar may be a little overwhelmed. Grace and Adare are mates but Grace is in denial! When trusts the wrong people and keeps running away putting herself and others in danger. Lots of suspense and I was surprised at some of the bad guys! Enjoyable read. 4 stars
This book is a story of Adare and Grace, but it so much going on in the book that their love does not come in the first plan. I expected amazeballs, that there will be sparks flying, that there will be a slow burn and then explosive end but no, I got a completely different story. I lost so many nerves on Grace - she is my least favorite heroine/mate of our bunch of Sevens. Adare is likable but I expected more alpha than he was. Nevertheless, the story is great because there is so much going on and so much new is revealed and it is great intense read full of action and suspense. And of course Benji OMG I hope his story doesn't disappoint.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley
I've been waiting for this book so impatiently!
I made the mistake of plowing through these books without realizing this book wasn't even out yet!
Thanks to Netgalley my dreams have come true! Dramatic much?
The first time Adare and Grace were introduced I KNEW I wanted their story! A reluctant mate who feels duty bound and a woman fresh from a coma makes for some interesting reading at the very least!
This books jumps 5 years into the future after Adare mated Grace. She is out doing her thing, living her life, and slowly dying again. She was out on a personal mission when she runs into Adare again. She never expected to see him there and is thrown off by his presence. Now that he has seen her again he isn't letting her out of his sight.
Once he finds out about her health he is very adamant that they will mate again. For reals this time, all the way. He has his own missions to worry about but one thing he will make certain of is that Grace is alive and healthy, even if that means he isn't a part of it.
I always enjoy seeing the males in this series BEFORE they became that Alpha male. You see a side of them they don't usually show because once they give in to their emotions it just seems like they change a little. More intense.
I liked these two characters together. Once they both realize what they want, they take it. Full throttle. Grace has much to learn and Adare will be the one to teach her of his world.
The Seven aspect of this story is getting more complicated as we go and I see a shit storm happening before we even get to the really good stuff!
I really thought that this would be my favorite book but I believe Benny will take the cake! He was hilarious in this book and I can't wait for his!
Finally Grace & Adare get their turn! What a great addition to the Dark Protectors series. We get Grace and Adare and we finally get to Paxton. He has been dealing with daddy for to long for my taste. I understand we needed the kids to grow some so I’m glad the story has advanced time to resolve this thread. Looking forward to our three “kids” growing up and saving the world.
Grace and Adare have been mated for five years when this story starts. Adare mated Grace to help her heal out of the coma. They have been circling each other ever since. Grace took off to live her life and get answers on why she was in a coma to begin with. Adare’s ancient attitude is frustrating however Grace handles him and helps him see his old way thinking will not work.
The story felt fresh and gets us closer to war. Ulric is coming and the seven is getting ready. The Realm is splitting at the worst time.
I can’t wait for the next release. Highly recommended series !
Guardian's Grace by Rebecca Zanetti
This is book 12 in Rebecca Zanetti's Dark Protector series & is the story of Adare & Grace. I'm a big fan of Rebecca Zanetti and her Dark Protector series, so I totally loved this book! As usual I could hardly put the book down.😃
As I previously mentioned this is the story of Adare & Grace who've we've met in previous books. Their story has a small time jump forward, so Adare & Grace have been mated for 5 years and of course all the other characters have aged as well; which I found essentially fun with Hope Kayrs-Kyllwood & her friends. This is a must read book! Rebecca Zanetti has written a fantastic storyline for Adare & Grace and there are important nuggets of information scattered throughout this book that are important to future books in this series as well. Adare & Grace had a highly unusual mating, so their "courtship" has to be unusually mysterious & exciting as well. I'm really excited for future books in this series & can't wait for them to become available.
You will totally love this book as much as I did! 💜
Vampire Adare and Grace! Been waiting for this since last year!
Love the plot and if you want a alpha male this is the one for you! Been waiting for this book since the first book. Grace and Adare been mated for 5 years and he only bite her. all you Realms fans know what that means. Humor, action and great romance! Great read!

I recieved an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This was my first book by Rebecca Zanetti and I really should have paid more attention. The reason I say that is that this book is number 12 in a series. I felt like I had missed out on so many things and couldn't really grasp the story as well as I could have. So this was really my fault and not the authors. I also feel as though this book could not be a standalone.
I also couldn't get into this book. I got a little annoyed with the both characters wanting each other, but also thinking that they are with each other out of obligation and not because they truly love one another.
This book was a solid 3 stars for me as there were some good parts, but feeling like I am missing something played a big role in my star rating and not able to grasp things made this hard for me to get into.
Rebecca Zanetti stuns again with her Dark Protectors universe. By now we all know what’s going on with the Seven, we know the original Dark Protectors and we know the spin offs from this world, yet every time this author puts pen to paper we fall in love all over again and are thrown loop for loop at the plot twists. Just when I think it can’t possibly continue or get any better she’s there with something new that knocks me back on my heels and has me glued to the page. I’ve read everything this author has published and I still can’t get enough. I can’t wait for the next in this series.
I received this book for free in exchange for my honest, unbiased opinion and review.
Rebecca Zanetti adds another action packed entry to her Dark Protectors series.
"We will mate again tonight. Completely.
♕ Plot: Five years ago, Adare O’Cearbhaill mated Grace Cooper out of a sense of duty with only a bite and a mark to save her life when she was in a comma. They went their separate ways afterward, but when he realizes she’s ill once again he’ll do anything to keep her safe and this time he’ll make her completely his. But while the two fight each other, the rest of the Realm seems like it’s starting to crumble.
♕ Hero: Adare has dedicated his life to the Seven. He’s a deliciously stubborn alpha whose protective instincts kick in when it comes to his loved ones, especially Grace regardless of the fact that he fought their mating just as much as she did.
♕ Heroine: Grace Cooper is fiercely independent with an iron will, who’d like nothing to do with the supernatural world. But as her health is failing, her gorgeous mate might just be the solution.
♕ Sexiness: Even though Adare and Grace’s relationship was born of necessity, the two have crackling chemistry with indications of a deeper connection that points to all sorts of swoony hotness. I just loved seeing Adare fall hard for his feisty mate.
♕ Feels: Guardian’s Grace is full of excitement and endearing characters from previous books. I absolutely LOVE this series! And OMG I can't wait to read the next... at least 3 books? Benny, Garrett and Hope!
♕ Facts: Guardian's Grace is book #12 of the Dark Protectors series by author Rebecca Zanetti. It is an exciting standalone paranormal romance, told from various points of view with a happy ending.
It’s always a happy day when a new book in the Dark Protector series by Rebecca Zanetti is downloaded on my kindle. I must admit that I squealed with glee when I was accepted at Net Galley to read and review Guardian’s Grace! I immediately downloaded it and poured myself a glass of wine, curled up on my couch and got busy reading it. If you have read the series at all you will have been eagerly awaiting the story of Adare and Grace. In a previous book they were mated to each other by Adare in a last ditch effort to save Grace’s life from the coma she is in. But they have not been “real” mates, in fact they have been living separately for three years at the start of this book. They come together again at a time when Adare is about to go off on a mission that he doesn’t believe he will survive and when Grace is sick and getting sicker daily. They both believe they are forcing the other to be their mate while in reality both are attracted to one another and are just standing in their own way. Grace does not remember what happened to her the night she was injured and went into the coma. She only desire is to try to find out what happened before she becomes too ill. Between her journey to discover her past and Adare’s dangerous mission they have much to overcome before they can come together. I LOVED this book! And was so happy to read it.

I thought this was a great addition to the series. I loved Grace’s character and have been looking forward to her story since she first appeared in her sister Faith’s book. One thing I would say, is that this isn’t a book you can just jump into without first reading the previous books. The author has done an amazing job of world building, but that means there are a lot of previous characters and their stories which deserve to be read first to properly appreciate this one. I love how we get glimpses of Hope and her friends - I can’t wait for them to grow up so we can see how their futures pan out. As with all books from this author you can’t help but feel emotionally engaged with the main characters, right from the first page. I was totally engrossed and read the whole book in one afternoon!
This was a guilty pleasure read. 100% guilty pleasure. I’m going to guess that this isn’t the first book in a series(I requested it without looking into the author) and because of this, I was a little confused at first to the type of creatures/beings that were in this one.
I was able to quickly catch on and enjoyed the fast pace of the plot.
Guardian's Grace is a must have ! I could not put this book down until the end.. Adar and Grace story was so fitted that it captivates and pulls you in.. the twist and turns that are so surprising will keep you turning pages and begging for a second part to their story. I cant wait for Benny's story. This book will have you cheering , screaming, fighting the air and crying. Rebecca has done it again with her story telling skills in the paranormal world.
I have, in fact, read one other book by this author and it was, as a matter of fact, the first in this series. This being number TWELVE. But I digress. I see that this author's writing style has not evolved at all since 2011. I do wonder if these books go through a developmental editor or a solid beta reader, because there are so many things I would change.
Your basic weak female character. Who fights her attraction to the male main character for no reason at all whatsoever. A male MC, who makes decisions, life altering decisions (such as a suicide mission), without consulting his mate. Strange, since in this author's world, mates are the ultimate thing a man can have. Yet, once again, we see him, putting her in a place where her wants/needs do not matter. Oh don't get me wrong, she's no angel either. She does the ever annoying classic move. Being told not to go somewhere or do something for the sake of her safety, her agreeing, then doing it anyways. Of course ! How else could the oh so strong man save her ?
Look, If you're a fan of this series, and this author's very particular writing style, great. Me ? Nah, I can't recommend this. The only reason it got two stars, is because at the very least, it had no glaringly obvious grammatical mistakes.
I love love love Rebecca Zanetti! Guardian’s Grace is a great new addition to the Dark Protectors series. I can’t see what she comes out with next!
