Any grandmother would love this book as a present.

Dear Grandma is a love-letter written from the perspective of a grandchild. Throughout the story, the child is thanking his or her grandma for all the adventures, encouragement, and love that has been shown.

The illustrations are beautifully done. The grandmas and grandchildren are diversely designed so every grandchild and grandma can see themselves represented in this heart-warming story.

Grandma, you always make things better. You wipe my saddest tears away, and say, Dear one you will be ok.

Having a special grandma and a special granddaughter (son) is a special bond. Grandparents love their grandchildren by enjoying them and teaching them all that they know. This picture book is a reflection on love and on loving well.

A super sweet book for grandmas! I loved this and my kids greatly enjoyed this because it’s about everything a grandma is to them. We’d love to give this book to our very special grandma and we’ll enjoy spending time reading it with her! The story was exciting, the rhyming was fun and the illustrations were great! A wonderful book I’d easily recommend for kids to give their grandmas!

A sweet, rhyming, perfect read-aloud book to commemorate grandmothers. Full of colorful and diverse illustrations to represent all the grandmas of the world.

This book is so engagingly illustrated! It is written in the form of a letter from a child to a grandmother. It shows the beauty, resilience, depth and breadth of that special relationship. The grandmother in this book is fun to play with, a listener, an encourager and so much more. She is simply a most important part of a child’s life.

This book ideally would be read with a grandmother whether in person or on Zoom. It is very sweet.

"Dear Grandma" by Susanna Leonard Hill is a great and colorful new book detailing all of the wonderful things that Grandmothers bring into the lives of children they love. Our family adored this book and as we turned the pages, we were reminded just how special our grandmothers are. There were a few phrases in the middle of the book that when read out loud seemed a little off, like the word choice just didn't fit properly. However, we did enjoy the book overall and my little ones loved the images of the kids with their adorable and gracious grandmothers. There were even pages where little ones can provide their own illustrations for their Grandmother! What a fun and interactive way to get kids involved in the book and in the reading process. Needless to say, we are inspired and our family Grandmas will be getting some extra love sent their way next time we see them!

I loved this book! From the adorable illustrations to the lovely sentiment of Grandma being a supportive and loving figure, this is truly a great book, and would make a wonderful gift!

Rich in vocabulary and literary devices, Dear Grandma, is a great book to share with the little ones in our life. It would be fun to make up a song to sing this too.

I appreciate the author's sensitivity to including all different skin tones in the story enjoying the universal traditions of a family.

Written as a love-letter to a very special grandma including spaces to personalize it, this book would make a great gift. Charming pictures and packed with fun ideas for things to do with Grandma.

This was a cute book about all of the things you can do with your grandma. Would make a good gift for a new grandma as there is space for an inscription or picture at the front of the book.

This was really underwhelming... Idea was great but execution was meh. Kids having fun with grandma, but nothing to make it stand out from any similar books that have come before. Uninspired.

This is such a delightful book full of plenty of rhymes and rhythmic lines. I loved that it had plenty of examples of all different types of grandmothers, all different cultures and races were represented and I appreciated that. The illustrations are beautiful and depict the children and grandmas. This would be a great book for any classroom or for a gift to a grandma..

An ode to a wonderful grandma. Kids who have grandmas who are invested in their lives will love this picture book full of fun and thankfulness for a good grandma. It has diverse and fun illustrations.

Kids who do not have a good grandmother figure in their life with probably find this sad and difficult.

The text expresses boundless adoration for her and the illustrations are very well done. They are full of activity and personality which enrich the powerful message of the mutual bonds of love.
