Oh, the sparks are strong with these two! No matter how hard they try to deny them!

Understandly, Penny's feelings towards George err on the side of hate. He'd wronged her in the past and appears to be doing it again, however George is completely misunderstood. I'm glad Penny gave him the chance to prove himself (even if she felt like she had no choice). Through a series of mishaps, disastrous and entertaining dates, that tentative truce becomes a sweet friendship that quickly becomes a deep and meaningful connection.

This was a fun and flirty read. Plenty of laugh out loud moments and swoony ones, too! I particularly loved how protective of Penny George was. I thoroughly enjoyed this enemies-to-lovers rom-com!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book, given to me by the publisher. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I really liked this book because it was cute. The book showed a couple of different ways of dating in the modern era and how hard it can be, but in a light way. Penny and George show how different dating for men and women can be. Their articles they wrote after each dating experience were perhaps my favorite part.

Penny Coyne is doing a dating series for the newspaper she writes for, but her idea gets leaked to a freelance competitor that she used to work with. She hates Geo Monais. Now he is showing up at all her dating events, speed dating, matchmaking and they even matched on tinder! Slowly an alliance begins to build and they always say there’s a fine line between love and hate! ❤️

This book started a little slow to me but once they got through the set up, I loved every minute! This book as serious hating game vibes(which happens to be my all time favorite book). I would love to see a Coyne sister series with Quarter, Nickel and Dime. I highly recommend this book!!

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

I wasn’t sure that this book would be for me after I read the first chapter or two. Much to my surprise, it turned out to be a lovely tale. In the beginning Penny, a writer for a St. Louis magazine, seemed to be a bit boring. Geo, or George, seemed to be a cocky jerk. However, things changed as Ms. Williams developed both characters more fully.

While their years as co-workers had ended badly, both realized that their working relationship had started differently. After deciding to set the past aside and work together on their individual stories about dating, trust slowly developed between them again. A friendship grew out of that trust, and eventually something deeper. Unfortunately, one question remained. Would they ever realize they were in love, and would they both be willing to compromise enough to make a relationship work?

So I really liked this, I wasn't wowed by it at all, it was just okay. It was a cute romance like there was nothing wrong with it, just didn't blow me away. It got me out of a reading slump which was good, I really liked the plot of this book and it was very interesting. I loved the dynamic of Geo and Penny and with the dating and then finding love with each other. It was very cute, I loved how with this we got a thing involved of dating safely so you don't put yourself in harm's way or be put in a situation where you could be harmed. I really like that this had that involved.

Geo and Penny's relationship was definitely enemies to lovers, they were both fiery personalities yet they clicked so well and were insanely perfect for each other and I loved how we got to see all aspects of their relationship.

Family is a big aspect in this novel, we have Penny's relationships with her sisters, and then Geo's with his sister and nephew. I loved the relationship Penny had with her sisters and how supportive they were of each other and how much they were in contact, you could see what those relationships meant to Penny. I loved Geo and his sister's relationship, the way she makes him realise at the end what a stupid mistake he's done and she finally tells him to start living for him and not for her and making decisions based on helping her with her charity, and to stop him feeling guilty. I just love the relationship. Also seeing Geo play with his little nephew is the most cutest thing and honestly, I live for any book that has some kind of relationship and bond with children because it's so cute.

So overall, I liked the plot and the story and the characters it just didn't wow me. I liked the author's style of writing, definitely enjoyed the dual pov that was given in the book.

The Dating Itinerary is a laugh at loud, enemy-to-lover romance, which is one of my guilty pleasures. This story follows two writers competing to write the best article on dating. Every week, they must try on a new way of finding love and report their findings. From misfortune to disasters, the two characters form an unlikely bond. As they work on their differences, they learn more about each other. There is definitely a thin line between hate and love, especially when sparks fly and the success of one may jeopardize the other's career.

This story was a fun and fast read. I laughed at loud many times as they start dating colorful characters or are in more than awkward situations. The main protagonists have a great development in this story and I enjoy the slow burn romance here. It felt natural and not forced. The chemistry is great, and this is not a steamy romance by any means. The story is interesting, but the topic felt a bit outdated.

This story is a fun read that I very much enjoy reading and would definitely recommend to any fans of enemy-to-lover tropes who are looking for a clean, slow-burn romance.

This book was full of humor and kept me laughing until the end. It’s the first book I have read by this author and I really like the author’s style of writing. The book was easy to read and had wonderful characters. The storyline was unique and really made the book a comedy. The idea of a reporter participating in the various ways of dating in St. Louis and reporting their success stories was hilarious.
Penny was the only single reporter at the magazine, so she was given the assignment. If she was successful in finding love during one of the dating assignments, she would have the chance of getting a feature story. She didn’t think it could be that difficult, but she never anticipated running into Geo, a rival reporter she had worked for in the past.
Geo wasn’t sure how his manager had gotten the tip of the Dating Itinerary but it was a chance for him to advance in his career so he couldn’t turn down the opportunity. It would mean an increase in his income which would allow him to help his sister’s charity.
As Geo and Penny work together on their articles they begin to understand each other. Will the competition come between the love they find right in front of them?

Penny finds herself having to endure countless dates to fill her column in hopes of a big payoff while suddenly having to share the spotlight with a rival columnist. Friendly competition turns into an unexpected and problematic attraction and suddenly the goal doesn't seem so clear. Geo provides just enough confusion that it could derail both of their plans. A funny read full of embarrassment and possibilities. You can't help but root for both of them to finally find what we all are looking for.
I received an advanced copy of this book from Netgalley for my honest review.

This book was really cute! I loved Penny and Geo. I thought they were just the cutest.

The banter was witty and just brilliant.

This has the feel of a sweet Hallmark or Netflix rom com. The story is a clean romance (the steamiest this gets is a make out or two). I would also say the story seemed to be inspired a bit by the famous movie, You've Got Mail.
However, putting the comparisons aside, the story does hit a few speed bumps for my tastes. For instance, the very beginning the reader gets info dumped with Penny's writing assignment. I would rather have seen her getting assigned the task in the first chapter or even a prologue before moving forward with the "dating itinerary". I suppose most of my qualms with the story have to do with the writing choice of telling instead of showing.
I also would have liked more banter or flirtation between the couple, otherwise the couple were cotton candy sweet. There were genuinely funny moments and even a sprinkling of heartfelt ones.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quick beach read or a rainy day.

This book had a fun enemies-to-lovers premise. They both have to write about dating in its myriad of scary modern day form and, of course they are in competition with each other and one thing leads other another as they keep crossing paths. I found the names unnecessarily distracting: Penny and Nickel Coyne, Geo, Q, really? I liked article excerpts from both sides. So, a mixed bag, but mostly an enjoyable story to pass an afternoon or two.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a cute and quick, fun enemies-to-lovers. I really liked the storyline and the chemistry between Penny and George. Even though it is kind of predictable, it is still enjoyable. Nothing can go wrong with easy and sweet rom-com.

This story fulfilled exactly what I expected of it from when I read the blurb and saw the cover. It is a light hearted romance about two journalists who are on assignment to try out different ways to meet new dates. It was easy to read and was told from the perspective of both characters which I like. I would definitely read a book by this author again.

Brooke Williams is a new-to-me author, but I’m going to say right off the bat that I’m going to be digging into her backlist soon! The Dating Itinerary had it all: lots of laughs, some angsty moments, and some emotional scenes that really tugged at my heartstrings.

What I liked most about the book: It totally entertained me. Now, I know that sounds simplistic, but I liked the whole package of this story so, so much that it’s hard to separate all the elements that I loved about it out. While our reality is pressing down on us so hard right now, I’ve found that unless I really connect with the story and an author’s writing, it’s hard for me to truly escape into the book’s world lately. And while it may be a bit of a dysfunctional coping mechanism, that’s what books have always been about for me: escaping into a fictional world that doesn’t want to let me go. The Dating Itinerary did this job so very well!

NICUnurse’s Rating: Not only is this book an enemies-to-lovers trope, but it’s also a bit of a coming of age story as both Penny and Geo/George have a lot of personal growth throughout. They learn to look beyond the surface, that sometimes things aren’t always as they seem, and turning lemons into lemonade can bring about some of the sweetest times in our lives. If you’re looking for a contemporary romance that’s going to leave you feeling uplifted and smiling, this book is going to be a hit for you. It’s just an all-around, feel-good story!

I give The Dating Itinerary by Brooke Williams 5 out of 5 stars!

This book was just okay for me. It was a fast and easy read, but it’s not something that’s going to stick with me because it’s unique and original. I’ll probably remember it because it seems like a plot for a movie rom-com.
Penny and George, (that stuff with calling him Geo is just annoying to me) have some fun banter going on, which made me chuckle, and they probably had way more chemistry then I realized, but it was hard to fully appreciate because of the forced dating rituals the both are taking part in for their prospective articles. It’s been a long time since I’ve dated, but I’m pretty sure most 20-somethings aren’t going to a matchmaker or doing speed dating. It seems less 2020 and more 2000.
I liked both characters interactions with their siblings, disliked the sleazy and obvious agent and kept hoping for more chemistry between the lead couple. I hate to leave less that 3 stars, because I didn’t hate the writing, but it wasn’t a book I’d recommend to my friends. They’ve seen this movie already.

Having not been active in the dating community for a while, it was interesting to read about what dating opportunities are out there now. Both Penny and Geo were tasked to write articles on dating for their respective news outlets. Formerly rivals for the same job position that was eventually given to Geo, they end up working together by helping each other with their written assignments. Both characters came across as authentic dealing with realistic situations. It was enjoyable watching their relationship develop from frenemies to lovers. Little to no steam. This was a fun reminder that if out looking for love, don’t forget to also look close to home. You never know who you may have overlooked.

A fun cute read, that brings out the hilarious of dating in the current world. In the book the main characters Penny and Geo are working to out scoop each other in a series of dating challenges put out by their jobs.
I loved all the different dating challenges/ adventures that they went on throughout the story. If you are looking for a cute, cozy read this fall, this book just might be for you.

Penny is a journalist whose newest assignment is a series of articles about the different ways to meet your significant other and the success or failure that these options bring and if she happens to find love then she will receive the magazine cover which would be a boost to her career. If that isn’t uncomfortable enough she keeps running into her former friend/co-worker who she believes stole the promotion that was owed to her.

George is now a freelance writer whose agent has arranged for him to write a series of articles on dating in the modern age as well however they always seem to find themselves in the same place at the same time. If he is successful he will be compensated both financially and career wise with a promotion to a newspaper in New York.

George and Penny decide to put their animosities aside and work together so that they can both reach their goals. But when their professional relationship starts to feel personal will they need to choose between love and their careers?

This is a fun and flirty look at the complications of love and dating that is sure to bring a smile to your face.

This cute little story reminded me a lot of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Only in this one, when they find out they're both working on the same story, they work together instead of competing for the best story.

Penny Coyne is a magazine columnist. Her newest column will be about different ways to date in the city. She is to try all different kinds of dating, write a column on each and if she finds a match while doing so, she gets herself a cover story.

Meanwhile, her nemesis, Geo Monais is working on the exact same thing. He had no idea that the story was stolen, but he's up for it anyway. Upon the columns completion, he's got a job offer in New York with a big, fat raise. He wants to use the extra money to help his sisters charity, so he goes all in on this story.

Penny and Geo bump into each other at Speed Dating and instantly start arguing. That leads to coffee and then they figure out they're working the same story and decide to help each other out. Next thing you know, they're falling for each other. But Geo is leaving for New York once this is said and done, so it'll never work anyway, will it?

As if it wasn’t bad enough to be deemed the “most single person” at her magazine’s office, budding reporter Penny has now been tapped to write a series of features called “The Dating Itinerary.” From speed dating to Tinder, old-fashioned matchmakers to up-and-coming “dark dating,” Penny now has to go on a lot of dates. Silver lining: meeting new people should be fun, right? But running into her old rival, George, at her first dating event is decidedly not. Not only does the arrogant know-it-all have zero trouble attracting women, wherever Penny goes, somehow he just. Keeps. Showing. Up.

Geo knows he’s right on the cusp of writing success with the chance to have his own syndicated column. All he has to do is follow his agent’s ideas for showcasing different dating avenues, and he’ll pull in enough to help his sister’s non-profit women’s shelter get off the ground. Sure, his itinerary is starting to look strangely similar to his old rival Penny’s, but all’s fair in love and syndication, right?

When I read the synopsis of this book I just need it to read it. Enemies to lovers. Sign me up.
I really enjoyed this book. This is just a sweet, heart worming, romance. I love the writing. This was sooo cute.
Penny and George what a pair. I just loved them.
This wasn't mind blowing read, but it made me feel so good.
I loved all the dancing around with one another. You just can see ( read) and feel the way they were falling for each other. This was just what I need. Because I was in the reading slump and this just brought me back.
Thanks for this ArC. 4 stars from me.
