This cover absolutely grabbed my attention and the storyline didn’t disappoint. I appreciated the heartfelt attention to character development. The format of this book made it a joy to read. This story reminded me that life can throw us a curveball at any moment and we have the ability to overcome the struggles. A quick read and a feel-good story.

I'm going through the books I requested pre-2018 when I stopped blogging to clean up my NetGalley TBR and this was on the list. I don't think it's a book for me anymore and will not be reviewing at this time, but if I do read it, I will update this review. Thank you for the opportunity.

Hooked from page one this book was fantastic, I liked the characters and the storyline, it was a good pace and kept me gripped even though it wasn't a suspense/thriller.
Being in a similar situation myself many years ago the unplanned pregnancy a young single mother and a beautiful bond between mother and daughter.
I would definitely recommend it

I enjoyed how Ms. Silver weaved humor through the sensitive and sometimes trying life experiences - certainly as Sydney finds herself pregnant just as she's graduating from college. Her character development added to the story in their own way. I loved Ethan's calming viewpoint, and Sydney's passion for her daughter, and how her mother always told her to "be safe". I loved the alternating viewpoints, where you're not quite sure how the puzzle pieces will come together and then by the end it magically does.
