Bethany Gingrich runs a very busy and successful coffee and donut stand at the local Amish market. Since her booth is set up cafe style with tables and chairs, her regular customers often like to sit and visit with friends while enjoying their treats. Micah Zook, and his grandfather, Enos, visit Bethany’s stand every Saturday morning before work at Enos’s custom outdoor furniture shop. Bethany always enjoys her conversations with Micah and his grandfather and thinks Micah to be very handsome. However, she doesn’t think that he will ever see her as more than a friend. When Micah and his grandfather miss their weekly visit, Bethany becomes concerned. And, when she learns that tragedy has struck the Zook family, she decides to find ways to be a good friend and blessing to Micah in his time of need.

Once again, Amy Clipston has written a sweet, relatable story full of perfectly imperfect characters. I really enjoyed watching Bethany and Micah’s relationship grow from friendship to more. As always in Amy’s books, The Coffee Corner has a lesson that do many of us need to learn. So many of us are determined to solve our problems on our own, without asking for or letting those who care about us help. Micah had to learn to let others help him in his time of need and I can definitely relate to his struggle.

I have enjoyed this series and the Amish community of characters. The cousins that have booths in the community market place each have had their story. The cousins in all the previous books have gathered together at the Coffee Corner run by Bethany Gingerich. All of her cousins have found their soul mate and starting families. Bethany is now reflecting all the changes now. Her relationships have changed with her cousins and it weighs heavy on her heart.

Bethany has started a friendship Micah Zook. Micah and his grandfather Enos would visit her booth. Bethany and Micah found an ease with each other. Micah has recently moved in with his grandfather, helping with the family business. Michal is healing his own broken heart. His relationship with his father had turned tense and uneasy after his fiancé had died. Both Bethany and Micah are dealing with life changing changes in their life and life seems unsettled. It is their friendship and discovery that brings them to realization of having the other's back.

This prose just reminded me how life is full of changes. Changes in our relationships, how we see others and God.

This is an Amish Fiction, and this is the 3rd book in the Amish Marketplace series. I have read and review both Book one and Book two in this series before reading this book. I have to say I wish this book took place more in the Marketplace. I missed the marketplace setting in this book because there most only a few times in this book that took place in the marketplace. I also wanted the cousins to talk more in this book because that was some of my favorite things of the other two books. This book was good, and I really loved it. I just did not love it as much as the other two because of the two reason said earlier. I have to say that Amy Clipson writes so well and brings all her books to life with her words. This is the third book in the Amish marketplace series but I read this as a stand alone. I love Amish novels they warm the heart and lift the spirits. With a global pandemic raging across the world, to step into the wold in this novel relaxes the stresses of the day.This tells the story of Bethany, who has a coffee and doughnut stall at the Amish market. Every Saturday Micah Zook and his grandfather, Enos, visit for a coffee and donuts before going to work at Enos’s custom furniture shop. Bethany enjoys talking to Micah and finds him quite handsome. One Saturday morning they don’t appear and she begins to worry, Micah needs a friend more than ever now and will Bethany be the one to help him.
Fabulous read and I will definitely be reading the previous novels as I loved the characters and the hints of details about the market place.

The Coffee Corner is probably my favorite book from the Amish Marketplace series. I am giving it five stars and highly recommend it.

I had a little trouble getting into "The Coffee Corner" by Amy Clipston. I did enjoys catching up with the cousins at the Market place. I liked the storyline and characters.

I have read almost all of Amy Clipston's books and I find her writing to be very uneven. Some of her books I would put in with the best of the genre, and some are boring and predictable. Unfortunately, this one lands in the latter category.

Bethany Gingerich runs a coffee and donut stand at her local Amish marketplace. Micah Zook and his grandfather come to the shop every Saturday morning. Bethany has a crush on Micah but thinks nothing will ever come from it. Bethany determines to be Micah's friend, however, even if she can't have more. A friend is just what Micah needs in his life, but with God, maybe they can find more.

This is the third book in a series about the Amish marketplace where Bethany has her stand. However, it can easily be read as a standalone book. On the audiobook, the narrator has a perky voice that 100% fits with Bethany's personality. If you like Amish romance books, you will enjoy this one. There was nothing that stood out in this book that will make me remember it above others I have read, but it is a good read for those who enjoy this type of book! (less)

I love this book. I really like how Bethany is there for Micah when his grandfather passes. And how we find out more of Micah's backstory. And how families can heal through faith and forgiveness.

The Coffee Corner is book #3 in the An Amish Marketplace series. I fell in love with these characters in book one and Bethany was my favorite. I enjoyed following her story and still having a chance to catch up with her cousin’s lives. I love Bethany’s bubbly personality and her dedication to people in her community. If you are looking for a good book I recommend reading this one and following along with Bethany & Micah’s blossoming friendship.
Amy Clipston always keep me entertained in her books. You can read this novel as a stand alone or read the series. Book #3 has become my favorite in the series.

This is a fun read that I greatly enjoyed. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys Amish Fiction. It is part of a series but could also be read as a stand alone novel.

Bethany Gingerich is an Amish young adult who runs a Coffee Shop in the Amish Marketplace. Her cousins also have various types of stands in the Marketplace. Bethany has appeared in their stories in this series but now this is her story. Amy Clipston has made all these characters good friends to her readers and I have enjoyed every book in the series. In this one, Micah Zook, who runs a business with his grandfather, makes Bethany’s acquaintance and they being to explore their pasts and their current relationship.

Years ago when I read the Kauffman Amish Bakery Series it was my favorite series by this author but now that title has some competition from this series. I just love everything about this series.
I really love how the characters don't disappear. What am I talking about you ask?
In some series you read the characters are in one book and that's it but in this book we get to see a continuation of the characters and stay updated on their lives.
We as readers make a connection with characters we read about and like and it's wonderful to keep that connection strong and we go forth reading other books in the series.
The romance was sweet and tender, not rushed but you could tell they both cared for each other a lot.
And the coffee flavors mentioned, oh my! I would really love to try some of those flavors.
The faith message came across strong and the community rallys around a character to lift him up mentally and spiritually.
I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

The Coffee Corner was an nice addition to the Amish Marketplace series. Bethany and Micah's story is the third in the series featuring a group of female cousins. This book features Bethany who owns the Coffee Corner. Bethany has a great personality but can get down on herself when it comes to relationships. She doesn't think anyone will care enough about her for marriage. When she meets Micah, she tries very hard to be a good friend to him. She is not aware of the personal baggage that he brings with him. He has a very troubled past and came to live with his grandparents when his relationship with his father deteriorated after the loss of his fiancée. When both his grandparents die within a year of each other, he has to face up to past hurts and find a way to move forward. Will he and Bethany be able to have a relationship?

I did like both Micah and Bethany, but it didn't mean that I didn't want to give them both a shake every now and then. They are both sweet and loving characters that need to realize that they have a lot to offer to someone else. Fortunately Bethany has a strong family to fall back on and they help her to make some good decisions and the ability to help others. The issues that both Bethany and Micah deal with are realistic and could happen to anyone, which is one thing I like about this series. They had an uphill struggle toward love throughout most of the story, due to the amount of heartache and hurt the Micah carried from the past and he wasn’t sure he could love again. I enjoy reading about the market and the many flavors of coffee that Bethany introduced were interesting. The secondary characters didn't play as large a role as in previous books, but they add just enough interest to remind us that they are all important in the lives of those who live and work in the area. The Amish Marketplace books are all enjoyable and I recommend them all to lovers of Amish Fiction.

With things changing though as her cousins meet and marry, Bethany feels at loose ends and somewhat lost. Feeling that no man could ever love her, she looks forward to seeing Micah Zook and his grandfather every Saturday for their coffee stop. Secretly, Bethany longs to get to know MIcah but he seems withdrawn and sad. Micah enjoys his and his grandfather's stop for coffee. The young woman behind the counter intrigues him. However, he has vowed to not get hurt again.
This is the third book in the series. I love each of these characters and feel very invested in their lives. I want to see them find love and happiness. You know that an author and series is good when the reader is able to relate to the characters and pray they find love and happiness. I received a copy through Netgalley and the publisher. What a satisfying read! I devoured The Coffee Corner, snuggled under a fleece blanket and sipping on a cup of coffee! Ms. Clipston characters are so full of life. When I read her books I have a visual of it running in my head. I love the glimpse into Amish life, and would love to read more about Bethany and Micah.

I had a little trouble getting into this book. But once I did it was very good. I always enjoy learning more about the Amish lifestyle because where I live there are a lot of Amish farms. Always enjoy catching up with the cousins at Marketplace.
