This “Amish Marketplace” series has been a delight to read. I’ve enjoyed reading about the Amish cousins and their paths to finding their true love. This one has a little bit different emphasis than the other books in the series. Bethany is the last of the cousins who is single, and she finds herself falling in love with Micah Zook. They are complete opposites in personality. Bethany is always cheerful, outgoing, and loves being around people. Micah is am introvert, and although he’s drawn to Bethany, her family seems overwhelming to him. Bethany’s family loves and supports each other; Micah left home because of the constant verbal abuse from his father. Micah has found a refuge with his grandfather, and his life seems to be on a better path. But trouble soon comes Micah’s way, and Bethany begins to see her chance for happiness with Micah slipping away.

This book takes a look at how depression can impact not only the life of the person suffering from it, but how it affects those around them. It’s also an encouragement in how to show love and support for those who need help. Micah and Bethany’s story is a different one from what you’ll normally read in Amish fiction, but that made it a compelling book to read.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

Bethany loves working at her coffee shop at the Amish market. She's always trying out new flavors of coffee, and making a variety of donuts fresh every morning. She is very close to her three cousins who also have shops at the market.
A certain customer, who is a regular every Saturday morning has caught her eye. But, Bethany, believes no one would ever be interested in her because she's talkative and perky. She feels they don't take her seriously. So unlike her cousins who are beginning to marry off. She looks forward to seeing Micah and his grandfather, Enos, each Saturday morning. She also sees them at church.
Then, came the morning that Micah and Enos do not make their usual Saturday appearance at her coffee shop. Micah had found his grandfather dead in his bed. What a tragic loss for Micah. He feels he has lost so much. Micah falls into a depression and despair when he learns details of the family business that his grandfather had kept from him. He rejects Bethany, the community and God. He turns to something to help drown the pain.
As always, our sins finds us out. What will Micah choose to do? Repent and be shunned, or run away from those who care for and love him?
Wonderful story of faith and love.
I was given an advanced ecopy by the publisher, Zondervan, and Netgalley. I was not obligated to write a positive review.

The Coffee Corner by Amy Clipston is the third book in the Amish Marketplace series. Each book in the series can be read on its own, but I recommend reading this charming series in order. I thought The Coffee Corner was well-written with developed, realistic characters. Bethany Gingerich runs The Coffee Corner at Bird-in-Hand https://bibliophileandavidreader.blogspot.com/2020/12/the-coffee-corner-by-amy-clipston.htmlMarketplace where her cousins also have stalls. Bethany is an attendant at the wedding of her cousin, Salina to Will Zimmerman. This is the second cousin to marry and Bethany wonders if God has someone special in mind for her. She is smitten with Micah Zook. Bethany looks forward to his visits to her stall each Saturday with his grandfather, Enos. They never get more than a few minutes to chat about superficial topics. Micah is attracted to Bethany, but he suffered a terrible loss that makes him reluctant to risk to his heart. When Micah’s grandfather dies, Micah is devastated. Enos was his mentor, work mate, and best friend. He needs help in dealing with his grief, and it appears that Bethany is the one to assist him. The Coffee Corner is a touching story. It is one that will tug on your heartstrings. I liked the side stories of Bethany dealing with confidence issues and Micah’s problems with his father. We also get to catch up with Leanna, Salina, and Christiana. I am eager to read Leanna’s story in The Jam and Jelly Nook. The Coffee Corner is a moving Amish tale about family, forgiveness, fitting in, second chances, and love.

The Coffee Corner by Amy Clipston is the third installment in her Amish Marketplace series. This was my first read in the series, but the backstory is sufficient, and it reads well as a standalone.

Bethany Gingerich is a twenty-four-year-old unmarried Amish businesswoman unsure about her appeal to men. She hasn’t had a boyfriend in years and has no prospects but is, not surprisingly, attracted to handsome furniture maker, Micah Zook.

Micah Zook lives and works with his grandfather and is content with his unmarried status but finds himself attracted to Marketplace booth owner, Bethany Gingerich.

Despite the mutual attraction, neither is willing to make the first move. Sadly, Micah is about to face difficulty circumstances. Will Bethany be able to overcome their reluctance and help him through?

The Coffee Corner is a heartwarming story of family, friendship, love, hope, and faith. The characters and plot are appealing. The pace is a little slow, but I enjoyed the story. I rate it 3 out of 5 stars and recommend it to all readers of Christian fiction, especially Amish fiction.

My thanks to Zondervan Fiction and NetGalley for the opportunity to read an advance copy of this book. However, the opinions expressed in this review are 100% mine and mine alone.

I do not know how Amy Clipston is able to bring a story to life with each book and each book gets better and better. This is one book that had me in awe of Bethany and sadness for Micah. I will admit there was a part in the book that had tears running down my face. Amazing story line, characters that will endear to your heart and a teaching that we are never alone. The only sad thing about this book is that it ended. I wanted more about Bethany and Micah. Guess I will find out in next book. Thank you Amy.

In this third installment of Amy Clipston's Amish Marketplace series, Bethany Gingerich's Coffee Corner takes center stage. Bethany and her three cousins, Salina, Christiana, and Leanna each have a booth (or had a booth) at the marketplace. Best friends almost since birth, these ladies have shared almost everything. Now that two of her cousins are either married or getting married, and the other one is a widow, Bethany is the only one left to sit with the unmarried women at church. Will her turn ever come?

Micah Zook and his grandfather, Enos, have a routine - make custom, outdoor furniture and on Saturday mornings, stop at the Coffee Corner for some of Bethany's coffee and donuts. Micah left home because of his father's continuous verbal abuse. His grandfather's love and acceptance have helped to heal his hurting heart, but is he keeping secrets about the business? When tragedy strikes, and Micah learns the full extent of the secret his grandfather was keeping, can he find anyone to turn to in a community he still doesn't feel connected to?

As Bethany begins to make progress toward becoming Micah's friend, can she convince him that leaving isn't his only option?

I've enjoyed Clipston's Amish Marketplace novels. Each girl's personality shines through the pages, and the men they fall for are exactly right for them. Micah's quiet, reserved personality balances Bethany's ebullience, but Bethany is the one who is able to pull Micah from the depths of depression.

If you love Amish romance, and haven't read the other two novels in the series, it is possible to read this as a stand-alone. However, if you want to get to know ALL of the girls, start with The Farm Stand, move on to The Bake Shop, and end with The Coffee Corner. Next up is Leanna's story in The Jam & Jelly Nook. I can't wait!

Thank you to NetGalley and Zondervan Fiction for kindly providing me with a digital copy of this book for review.
Who’s crying? I’m not crying! You’re crying! I got a bit of dust in my eye, that’s all. Joking aside, this was a deeply emotional read, which Amy Clipston does so well. If you’re looking for a fast paced, passionate romp, then maybe come back to this one when you’re feeling a bit more quieter. This is definitely a relationship that is slowly developed and really delves into the emotions rather than the physical It’s good and wholesome and it’s exactly what I want to read at this time of the year. Christmas is mentioned but the story takes place over a wider span of time so it’s not a major theme of the book. I really really enjoyed it and highly recommend.

Amazingly enough since Amish fiction is my favorite genre, this is my first book by Amy Clipston! I knew the author's name and have had her books in my TBR pile for a while now. This series and book just called to me! I realize this is the 3rd in the series, but didn't feel that I missed too much background information to understand the characters or plot lines of this story (but definitely feel the urge now to go back and read about Salina's & Christiana's journeys!). This really is a testament to the author's writing talent. I loved the characters of both Bethany and Micah, but almost feel they wouldn't be a match since their level of experience and problems are so incredibly disparate. Bethany is almost child-like, while Micah's life (and choices) have been tragic and hard. This being said, I still love them as well as the supporting cast and especially the biblical themes. The use of Pennsylvania Dutch, while certainly appropriate for the genre, was more than even the most well-researched authors use and felt a bit overdone. But I still loved this book and would definitely read the others in this series for sure!

I love this series and all of these characters. Bethany needed to learn that she could be loved. I did not want to put this book down and cannot wait to read the next book in the series. I love that all the main characters from the other books in the series are mentioned. I got some laughs and I cried a bit. I loved the lessons learned. I received a copy of this book from the author for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.

This is an Amish fiction book and the third book in the marketplace series. I have not read the other two but will soon since reading this one. Such a cute romantic story. Storyline is well written, makes you feel like you are living right alongside the Amish.

I've loved each of the titles in Amy Clipston's Amish Marketplace series, and I honestly don't think I could pick a favorite. I love reading Amish fiction during the crazy times we're currently in, as it's nice to focus on stories of a community that focus on faith, family and friendships, and a simpler way of doing things.

Bethany was always one of my favorite characters in the earlier two titles, and I was so excited to finally get to read her story. She struggles with self confidence issues, and always feels that she doesn't measure up to her three favorite cousins. A gentlemen catches her eye from her church community that often frequents her coffee corner booth at the marketplace, but she struggles to believe that someone like him could actually be interested in someone like her. Micah has his own share of personal struggles; especially over the broken relationship he currently shares with most of his family except his grandfather and the death of someone close to him a couple of years prior. Bethany and Micah's journey to love isn't going to be easy, but with God's divine providence, they might just find what they've both been looking for.

I honestly don't think Amy Clipston could write a bad book if she tried, and The Coffee Corner is a definite new favorite for me. There's just something about the Amish marketplace setting that makes these books impossible to put down, and I truly adore them from start to finish. Bethany and Micah were a couple I really adored reading about; especially all of the struggles they have to learn to overcome. I loved the big hearts that both of them have, and how Bethany is so concerned with helping Micah pull through his crisis. I also loved getting to read about Bethany's three cousins; Leanna, Salina and Christiana, and the numerous way their lives have changed since the last book.

I've found myself disappointed with quite a few of the more recent Christian fiction releases, and I'm so happy to say that's never the case with Amy Clipston's beautiful novels. She truly writes her heart into her stories, and I love how strong the faith element is in each and every one of them. The only tiny complaint I had with this one was that I was expecting it to have more of a Christmas setting since it's released on December 1st, but that's a very small issue and didn't truly affect my enjoyment of the overall story.

Final Rating: 5/5.

I can't recommend this one enough!

Thanks so much to Zondervan for allowing me to read and review this.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance reader copy of this novel from the publisher (Zondervan) via NetGalley. I was not required to give a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

First, let me say I really wish the Coffee Corner was a real place I could visit every day it is open, and sit with my book and try all the flavors of coffee Bethany invents. Of course, I would come home with things I really do not need like jams and jellies.

Each book in the Amish Marketplace series has been true gems to read. I think this is my favorite so far. I loved reading about Bethany and Micah's path to love. They proved that bad things happen, detours are taken that are not the best choices but love in each other and God will bring you back to where you need to be. It also stresses forgiveness which I believe is hard for everyone. Forgiveness in yourself and others takes love in yourself and others to occur.

Each book can be read as a standalone so hurry grab your copy and then brew a cuppa and lose yourself in a beautiful story.

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher, Zondervan Fiction, through NetGalley. All opinions expressed in the above review are entirely my own.

As I write this review, I notice that I have read book 1 and 3 and somehow missed book 2. I enjoyed the cousins and their family ties, and Bethany was a great "leading lady" in this book. Micah has an unhappy past that brings him much sorrow and perhaps makes him more tentative as to what he really wants out of life. Simply Sara Ann was up to her own purposes and adds some spice to the story, for sure.
I enjoyed the story and it was definitely a fun book to read.

I received an ebook from NetGalley. All thoughts are my own.

The Coffee Corner is another amazing hit in Amy Clipston's "An Amish Marketplace" series. This is the third book in the series that follows the life of a different cousin in each story. The Coffee Corner is Bethany's story, and what a delightful story it is. Bethany has never thought herself good enough for a "real" relationship. She is outgoing, kind, intelligent and fun loving. She has never felt that a man has ever taken her seriously, beyond being perky and sweet.
Micah and his Grandfather have been regulars at Bethany's Coffee Corner every Saturday morning. While neither Bethany nor Micah believe the other has an interest other than friendship, those around them can see the gleam of happiness shared between the two.
When tragedy strikes, circumstances take a bitter turn for the worst and begin to tear Bethany and Micah's friendship apart. The heartache, happiness and mix of emotions, had me caught up within every page of the story. I quickly found myself caught up in the story of these two extremely likable characters. It was also fun to visit the characters from the first two books in the series to see what they were up to. I do want to mention that even though this is the third book in the series, I truly believe one could read this as a stand-alone and not be in the least bit confused.
I can't wait for the next book to be released and highly recommend The Coffee Corner for readers looking for a delightful and clean read that will easily engulf them within its pages!

The Coffee Corner is book three in Amy Clipston’s Amish Marketplace series. It is the story of Bethany, who runs the booth of the same name as the book. Bethany makes different flavor coffees and donuts and has a thriving business. Micah is a regular customer, coming in every Saturday with his grandfather. The more time they spend together, the more they like each other. However, when tragedy strikes Micah, his world is turned upside down. Can Bethany convince him that he isn’t alone? And can they find love in the midst of heartache. This was a great book, like all of Clipston’s! And I can’t wait for the. next one! Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the chance to read it. All opinions are my own!

An Amish fiction book? Yes, it’s love to read and review it! Amish fiction is one of my absolute favorite genres! Not only is it clean, but it’s full of the importance of family, a community, and how working together for the coming good is beneficial for all.

This book is about both the Amish AND choice? Man, even better! I also love my flavored choices and I wish I could visit Bethany at The Coffee Corner! I think we’d make fast friends for sure! Psh, my being English is just a technicality.

The family dynamics in a Bethany’s family is very loving and supportive. Everyone does their part to allow their family to thrive. I will point out that Bethany’s little brother is extremely mature for 14! I doubt grown men would be as calm and collected as he is!

On the contrary, Micah’s family dynamics seem to be extremely different and strained. He moved in with his grandparents to start a new life after much heartache and to get away from his demanding father. Micah loves visiting The Coffee Corner every Saturday for coffee and donuts.

It’s great when people of different family dynamics can come together and encourage one another. It’s also great when they can be there for each other when one faces challenges in life, particularly in the loss of someone very dear. Sometimes we don’t see it when we’re trying to be supportive, but eventually, it will be realized and hopefully not too late.

My favorite character in this book is Micah. He shows a determination to start a new life and his willingness to be there for his friends. Yes, he has family issues that need to be addressed, but I think he’ll figure that out in time. Micah had to fight much loss and it nearly breaks him. I love how he takes time to think through his problems and consider solutions. He did need the encouragement of his community to get him on track, but he will get there.

I enjoy the parts in the story where Micah and his grandfather visit The Coffee Corner. Each time it seems he and Bethany grow a little closer in their friendship. It reminds me of the friendships I’ve made at local coffee shops. It’s a warm, cozy feeling.

The best was when Micah asks the town gossip, Sarah Ann, what she wants from him. He basically tells her to buzz off. At this point I stood up and cheered for Micah! Haha! Good job! I knew you had it in you, Micah!

A digital copy of The Coffee Corner by Any Clipston was provided complimentary by Zondervan via NetGalley. I give this book 5 out of 5 tiaras! The Coffee Corner is the third book in An Amish Marketplace series. Now I want to read the rest! There were scenes I didn’t expect to find in this book. It e the events ever more realistic with some of these reactions to situations.

A cute romance story, full of warmth and emotion. The storyline was well written and the characters were interesting. Would recommend to lovers of Amish romance. Thank you to NetGalley, Amy Clipston, and Zondervan for an ARC of this book.

This is the story of Bethany and Micah. They are both attracted to the other but don't think they have a chance at a relationship. Bethany has seen her other cousins get married and does not think it will happen for her. Micah lost his first girlfriend to leukemia and does not think he will find another love. It is a wonderful story of never giving up.
