He was an absolute whirlwind that would change her life forever. Absolutely loved this steamy novella!
The Playboy Prince's Pregnant American
by Leslie North
A stand alone novel but the second part of the series.
This is a fairly predictable story about a playboy prince who is forced by his father to be more responsible and put him on the board of a crisis centre project where he meets Kyra as she’s on the board and they have an instant attraction as well as a one night stand.
A fairly plodding story but ok read .
When Prince Marcus and Myra meet it's lust at first site. A one-night stand later, uh oh she's pregnant. She doesn't trust he'll be there. He wants to prove her wrong.
It was a bit predictable, but still an enjoyable quick read.
Thank you Leslie North, Relay Publishing and NetGalley for allowing me an advance copy for my honest feedback.
The Playboy Prince's Pregnant American by Leslie North was AMAZING!!
Marcus is a super sexy prince and has a bad reputation for being a playboy. He is put on a new project by the king to prove himself. Kyra is there to work with him to set up a local shelter. They make a great working team, but the chemistry is hot and sparks are flying. Kyra is trying to keep it professional, as this job means a lot to her, but after one night with the sexy prince, it's hard to forget.
Marcus is drawn to Kyra and wants her, he feels something for her, that he never did for anyone else. But can an American girl and a Prince make a real relationship work?
LOVE this story, LOVE the Characters. It was an absolutely perfect love story that you won't soon forget.
ARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
A big thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is a romance and second in a series. It reads well as a stand alone. It's a predictable story. Would Prince told.to settle down and one last fling. Bam. Guess what happens?? lol. Still the characters are fun and the outcome is what we all dream of. 3 stars
I am a big fan of books by Leslie North so when I saw this series released, I needed to read it!
Unfortunately I found the first book of the series a bit boring and I have to say I felt the same about this one. However, this one did have a bit more of a plot than the first book but again there were moments of “where he spent the best night of his life” reflection ... which were never covered.
It’s a very tame, very quick book which is perfect for a sunny afternoon. However I would recommend other books by Leslie North before recommending this book.
Thank you for the opportunity to read this book.
They meet at a work's project meeting, have a strong attraction towards each other and start an affair.
They have an unexpected surprise pregnancy and have to work through this to form some sort of relationship for the future.
True love wins through, with a happy ever after ending in this romantic story of love, commitment and happiness.
Quick action and quick read!
The crown prince of Solavon, Marcus, is a known playboy, and his image is starting to hurt the monarchy. After yet another issue with the paparazzi, his father, the king, forces him to clean up his act by getting involved in charity work. What starts off as a joke, quickly gains the prince's attention when he meets Kyra. This independent American woman has been sent to represent her company's interest in the charity work, and her long legs and quick wit peak the prince's interest... a little too much. The two spend a night together that leads, as the title suggests, to a pregnancy. But how do you navigate a surprise pregnancy with royalty who lives in another country?
Kyra is a character I really enjoyed reading about. She's strong, has her priorities in check, and stands her ground in a respectful manner. The connection between her and Marcus is instant, but the "love" between the two isn't as developed as I hoped for a romance novel. There's a lot of detail about the charity work, but I would have really liked more detail about the connection between the two leads. Overall, this was an easy quick read with a strong female lead.
The Playboy Prince’s Pregnant American (Sovalon Royals Book Two) by Leslie North
This book is not just a sexy steamy novel as the title suggests! The author has delved into some heavy character building that opens the eyes of several people.
Being overlooked and overshadowed will desensitize you to your surroundings. Prince Marcus definitely felt like a ghost as did Maggie. People assumed that they had no purpose, no drive, and so they discounted there every attempt to show they mattered and had value.
It’s hard to break out of a mold that others have already cut and plastered you into.
The author has done a remarkable job in taking her character Kyra on a journey of eye-opening growth. The book is sexy and has those moments of pure romance and relationships, but it also is about discovering that innermost part of yourself has awakened. The characters in this book all seem to have been drawn forth into setting alight a flame within theirselves to emerge a desire to go forth and endure all of the challenges and love one another without reservation! It seems as though they discovered that they learned the boundaries of respect and believe in each other! I loved this book even the racy scenes were tastefully done!
I love all the books that this author has up to this point because they all seem to contain a certain type of self message.
I received a advanced copy from NetGalley and I am willingly giving my thoughts and opinions.
This was a quick read that kind of missed the mark for me. I usually really enjoy author Leslie North’s books, but for some reason I just couldn’t get into to this one. The storyline is one I like, an oops after a one night stand that forces one or both to grow up. I loved Kyra, she was strong, independent & determined to make this opportunity a step toward the promotion she’s looking for. Marcus was a playboy that was pushed in to a charity organization to make him grow up but it allows him to meet Kyra & changes his world. I feel that the story moved too quick in such a short span of time. I would’ve liked to see Marcus really fight for Kyra & stand up to his father for how he treated Kyra.
I recieved a free copy from netgalley for an honest review. This is short book and moves at a fast pace.
Marcus is the titular playboy prince. After being photographed with the wrong woman he is order by his dad to be on the board of a womans shelter or lose his inheritance. Kyra has come from America as a consultant on the project. But one night leaves Kyra with a reminder for life, a baby.
I liked that Marcus was trying to change and he was sweet with Kyra and her niece but the fact that he even thought about letting Kyra go and never seeing his child pissed me off. Yeah, he wants to prove he can be a dad but he almost loses ever knowing his child because a grown man is afraid of his daddy.
This is a short book so there are times it feels rushed especially at the end but it was good for a quick read.
There is one more book in the trilogy and I might check it out.
Second in this newest series. Ok, let’s get the terrible title out of the way. Really, could it be any longer? Now, on to the story. A very sweet, romance, small drama, little misunderstandings lead to a HEA. Very easy, quick read, No thinking involved. Great beach read.
Leslie North consistently brings great characters and passionate romance to life. As a big fan North's, her name provokes an automatic one-click from me. I am always entertained.
Although there's nothing new about this plot this book was ridiculously entertaining.
Marcus, prince of Solavon, is known for being the family's black sheep and playbor heir, so it's not uncommon his father, the king, send him to do social work to clean up his image. What nobody expected was the presence of Kyra, a hard-working american woman, doing everything to get a promotion. The attraction between them was present from the first minute, leading them to have a one-night stand that left consequences.
Although I have read this plot a lot of times and with different twists, this was very entertaining. Both characters were quite likeable and I even felt bad for them sometimes. Marcus just wanted to prove that he could do things and be good at them, but no one ever gave him the time to prove it, until Kyra, who was willing to listen to his ideas and support him. Kyra also has a lot of weight on her shoulders, being a kind of mother to her sister AND niece, in addition to her demanding job, she can't catch a breath.
This was a fairly short and quick to read book, there wasn't too much drama and although I could have done it with a little more scenes between them and the baby, I enjoyed it and probably I'm gonna read the next one in the series because royals + single parent trope.
Playboy Prince meets American woman and you can guess the rest. If you are looking for a light romance that is a fast read this book is it. Thank you to net galley for a copy.
I literally devored this book in few hours !!
Marcus is the "wildest" child of his family, but he became like that, because of what other people told him in all of his life, so he thought that if they think he was was a playboy, that was probably the truth !!
Kyra is a very independant woman, she help a mom raised her sister, and when her sister became a mom, she did the same, by helping her sister.
Kyra love her job and the projec she's working on, it's something that is very dear to her, probably because her mom, was a single mom and did everything she could to bring money home for her daughters.
Marcus is also working on his project, as his father's demand, to try to "erase" his reputation of a playboy, but the moment he met Kyra, he knows he'll need to make a move, to have her.
One night isn't enough for him, but this one night, will definitely change their life forever.
I really enjoyed this book, and it was nice to discover Marcus and learn more about him.
I can't wait to read book 3, this series is very addictive.
I felt badly for the way that Marcus is treated by the other people in the book. He's trying, we see that he's trying to change his image but others are not taking him seriously. Kyra has had to be the responsible one for way to long. I see where she is coming from when thinking she'd be better off raising the child on her own. I'm glad that she gives Marcus a few chances. Of course it takes more than one to get it right.
