I'm frequently do tree pose while I brush my teeth, so I felt like this book was right up my alley. It gave me a lot of ideas for poses I can while I'm doing chores around the house, like half angle while cooking dinner or a malasana squat while working in the garden. A few poses felt a little gimicky for a cool photo, like savasana in a graveyard or a forward fold in a grocery story, but the photography was really beautiful. This probably isn't the best book for an absolute beginner, but as long as your familiar with a few basic poses I think you'll be able to follow along.
I feel like this made me more aware of how I can incorporate yoga into little moments throughout my day.
If you are like me, just plain meditating is hard work - but this book tells me how to ground myself using movement, and it is much more calming and centering, and now I can do it wherever! In my car, waiting in line! I liked this!
This was a great look into yoga, for busy people on the go. I also found it fun and silly which I loved!! I think this would be great for people starting out in yoga as well as people who just want to something good for their bodies when they don’t have a lot of time
