A truly remarkable book. It gave me a lot to think about in regards to the nature of animals, and the nature of ourselves. A book that will stick with me for a long time.

Malanie Challenger has written a fascinating book. Part auto-bio, part study of humans and animals mostly from her POV. I agree with a lot of what she writes. I do believe humans are animals, no better or worse, creative, or knowledgable then any other on the planet, we're just a lot more violent, I think. Or at lest more capable od mass killing then the others. She's lucky to have been able to get up close to so many different critters. It's a fast, entertaining read to be sure. Animal loers will enjoy it,
