Cute Christmas romance that takes place in a small Southern town somewhere around Atlanta. Features Brady, a big-city guy who has come back to small town Peach Grove to handle the sale of his late grandfather’s home, and Violet, a perpetually happy, Christmas-loving redhead who helps him stage his home for sale. There is also a sweet puppy-Luna-that is so precious.

It started a little slow, if I’m being honest. But I was invested by the halfway point with a stray puppy entered the narrative and was adopted by Brady. Violet is a Christmas shop owner and a community planner who just oozes festive Christmas spirit. She helps Brady ready his home for sale as a favor to his late grandfather who was a close friend of hers. Of course, feelings develop even though Brady lives far off in Atlanta. By the end of the story, choices have to be made and there is a wonderful HEA. There was a lot of Christmas in this one. I really enjoyed it.

Thanks for the opportunity to read and review this book. But, I’m tapping out at roughly a third of the way through the book. I hoped to find it charming but honestly, it was just boring me. It might be a mood thing or it might not just be a good fit for me. but either way, it's just not working for me.

I started this one at the end of 2020, read about 35% and never picked it up again. The story was cute, but I lost interest for some reason. I may try again when it is the holiday season again. DNF for now.

What I love is that each of them does make a difference to the story as it developed. Like to read how the characters In the story are interrelated to each other. It make the story more exciting to read. The setting of the story is nice and is fit nicely to the story.Story plot are well penned out, with a slight twist to it in the end

Now, this is a book I can definitely see as a Hallmark movie. It's a bit slow at first, but it does pick up as things progress, and these characters are fun and entertaining. Violet is a hoot, and the grumpy Brady is my favorite type of character. I always like seeing the sexy grouch learn to show the teddy bear lurking beneath the surface. The story has such a fun premise, and the couple has great chemistry. I've waited until almost midway through the year to dive into this one, but it worked out pretty well because it's a great little pick me up for the spirits.

This is a sweet, low angst, small town romance between Violet, a perpetually happy event planner and XMAS fanatic, and Brady, Atlanta divorce lawyer who’s never believed that true and lasting love exists. When he comes to Peach Grove to go through his late grandfather’s belongings and ready for sale the plantation mansion that’s been in his family for almost 200 years, he meets Violet who’s determined to include the home in the annual Christmas house tour his grandparents founded 50 years ago. Over time, she’s wears down his resistance and makes him begin to question if being married to his unfulfilling job is what he really wants or if he should give it all up to embrace the love and joy he’s found in Violet and the townspeople who’ve welcomed him home. There’s no new ground here, but this is a pleasant read that’ll put you in the holiday mood.

I received a complimentary ARC of this book from Carina Press through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are completely my own.

Christmas on Peach Tree Lane by Jules Bennett reads like a cozy TV holiday movie!

Event planner Violet has her work cut out for her when divorce attorney Brady refuses to let her use his family's ancestral mansion for the town's annual Christmas tour. With an immense love of Christmas and a huge promotional opportunity on the line, Violet isn't going to let Brady's refusal dampen her spirit or slow her down. She proposes the perfect compromise: she'll stage and decorate the mansion to help Brady sell it as long as he let's her use the house for the tour. Eager to sell, Brady agrees to Violet's plan but he soon discovers he's in over his head when he finds himself falling for Violet. Brady always intended to go back to the city after the house was sold, but his growing feelings for Violet are making him consider what life could be like if he stayed...

Jules Bennett does a great job setting up the opposites attract romance between Violet and Brady, as well as introducing all the other characters.

Recommended for readers that also enjoy watching made for TV holiday movies.

Thank you NetGalley and Jules Bennett for this eARC. This book was perfect for the holiday season. Being from Georgia I thought she nailed the description of the town and all it’s Christmas glory.

This book was super cute with some steamy love scenes. I loved the main character and her quirky vibe and enjoyed being thrown into the Christmas crazy and her relationships along the way.

Ah, holiday romances. Sweet and festive with a guaranteed Happily Ever After complete with a Christmas tree or five. That's what Christmas on Peach Tree Lane gives readers (seriously, it had way more than five decked out Christmas trees). Jules Bennett has written a holiday story worthy of the Hallmark treatment and readers will be pleased with a romance that leaves them smiling.

Here's the synopsis:

Event planner Violet Calhoun lives to deck the halls, and her quaint Southern hometown’s fiftieth annual Tinsel Tour will be the event of the season. With a magazine crew on hand to document Peach Grove’s transformation into a winter wonderland, this year’s festivities have got to be the holly-est, jolliest yet. She does not have the time to deal with a Grinch—even a gorgeous one like Brady Jackson.

Divorce attorney Brady has plans to divest himself of his family’s ancestral mansion and be back at his Atlanta firm by New Year’s. Hanging so much as a wreath on the door is not a part of that plan. Nor is dealing with an annoying—though undeniably adorable—elf.

But Violet is all about making holiday magic happen. As they work together to stage Brady’s historic house, the town grump reveals he’s more sexy than Scrooge. And after some mind-blowing kisses, what starts as a Christmas flirtation starts to feel more like a year-round affair…

I know I'm not alone in loving the "big city worker coming to a small town and finds the meaning of life and Christmas" stories. As long as they're interesting, I don't care that they follow the same formula. In this story, Brady is the one who leaves the city (under duress, I may add) and Violet shows him that small towns have their own charm and can offer just as much as a big city can.

Bennett does a good job of making the reader understand that Brady isn't really a jerk. He's hurting and grieving after the loss of his grandfather and doesn't know how to make sense of these feelings. Luckily, Violet understands that too. I think if he had come across as super rude, instead of just a bit grumpy, I would have had a harder time rooting for him and Violet to get together. (And root for them, I did.) I do wish that Bennett hadn't had Brady and Violet's friend, Simone, go on a couple of dates a few years prior. I don't think it was necessary and just added weird tension that wasn't needed for the story.

I definitely appreciated how committed Violet was to her job and how Bennett made it clear that Violet is so busy and always working because she genuinely loves it. That's a stark contrast to Brady who works all the time because he can and feels he has to. Sure, he's a great lawyer but that doesn't necessarily mean he's loving what he does. Work will look different to a lot of people and this story showed that nicely.

When I pick up a holiday romance I want a Happily Ever After with a sprinkling of festive cheer. Christmas on Peach Tree Lane delivers, though it's definitely a Christmas book you can read well before Christmas arrives as the big day doesn't actually feature in the novel. I think Jules Bennett has set us up for a new small town series and I'm happy she decided to start it off with a story that showcased the town and the magic of Christmas.

Christmas on Peach Tree Lane!

Christmas on Peach Tree Lane by Jules Bennett is a story about finding the purpose in life and fulfilling dreams.

Violet is all about Christmas and she has decided that this year, on the 50th anniversary of the town’s Christmas festival and Tinsel Tour of town family homes. Topping off the tour, is the home of the tour’s founder, who unfortunately passed away before he and Violet could plan this year’s important tour. Now Violet has to convince his grandson Brady, to allow her to decorate the house before he sells it.

Brady has been forced to take some time off from his career. He was stressed and blew up on a client and with that, he was worried that he was no longer in the running to make partner. However, he is a good lawyer and he needs to sort out his life before returning to his career! But now he’s stuck in his grandfather’s town with no future and a woman bugging him to allow her free reign to decorate his grandfather’s house for Christmas!

When Brady finally accepts Violet won’t back down, he discovers what his grandfather loved about the community of Peach Grove, and what’s the importance of finding your priorities in love and life.

A fun story with all the Christmas feels!

I loved this great Christmas story! Violet loves Christmas so much that she owns a Christmas store in her hometown. She is also in charge of a big Christmas festival where people’s homes are decorated outside and inside and open for tours before Christmas. The best and most famous house on the tour has been in one family’s hands for generations. The owner has recently passed away and his grandson has come to prepare the house to sell it. Brady’s plans slowly start to fall apart the more time he spends with Violet. This is a lovely Christmas story with great characters that you cheer for. The romance was lovely and the setting is truly idyllic. Definitely a great book for the season!

For the last two weeks I've been reading my way through a stack of Christmas romance books (novels and novellas) and I have to say that Christmas on Peach Tree Lane was such a cute, fun Christmas read.

Violet Calhoun - Christmas elf personified - is in charge of the Tinsel Tour, an annual Christmas event held in Peach Grove every year. She's got plans for all the houses in the tour - including the one belonging to the grandson of the founder of the Tinsel Tour, who's just inherited it. But Brady is less into Christmas than Violet would like and she sets about winning him over (or badgering him) into the Christmas spirit.

The Christmas elements of this story were just delightful - a town that hosts its own Tinsel Tour to raise money for community events is just heartwarming. Violet's obsession with Christmas reminds me of many friends (although they don't go to quite the same lengths as dressing up as a Christmas stocking for Halloween). Violet and Brady's relationship - a veritable grumpy and sunshine trope - develops slowly as Brady begins to see why the holiday season is so important to Violet.

This book has all the magic of the holiday season wrapped into one little package that will keep you turning pages

Such a wonderful Christmas story! Violet was Christmas spirit personified, and Brady was the curmudgeonly divorce attorney on a forced break. The story played well, and I'm glad for the HEA! Well done, Ms. Bennett!
