I was sooo excited to get reapproved/archived date changed for this book! When I was originally approved to this egalley I missed the archived date and didn't get a chance to read it, so Christian and Mallory and Moncriano where sitting it my head unfinished!! I really enjoyed diving back into this world and finally following these characters. Christi Barth did a great job of wrapping all the loose ends in the story and creating a wonderful ending for these characters! I look forward to reading more from her in the future.

Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for providing me with an arc for an honest review!

This is the third book in the series but it works great as a standalone. I liked the characters and I'm adding Kelsey's story to my TBR as I haven't read the first two books yet. I really enjoyed the first half of this book where Mallory and Christian were flirting, making bets with each other, and getting to know one another. The pages turned quickly for me however I felt that the story lost momentum in the middle when they agreed to date for a month and then break up. There is a sense of inevitable doom to their relationship and it hangs over the reader's head. There are so many obstacles to their HEA and not enough cute moments. However, the ending was romantic and endearing when both of them chose to be together come what may.

I enjoyed the last book of this series. In fact, it was my favorite. I have liked Mallory since the beginning, and it was obvious even then that she and Christian had chemistry. They have lots of hurdles to jump before they can get to the HEA though. There were lots of laughs along the way and several sweet moments.

Tempting the Prince is the third and final book in this series. This is my first reading from the author and although this is part of the series, I didn't have any problem following the story line. In that regards, this could be read as standalone but you could read the first two in this series for an in-depth understanding of this book world. This is a contemporary, royal romance with a tiny bit forbidden factor in it.

Mallory and Christian had an instant attraction and undeniable chemistry from the first moment they've met. Due to Christian's position as the crown prince, both have decided not to pursue their feelings for each other. For one night of just throwing caution in the wind and living in the moment, these two gave in. What followed was hot, sexy and sweet moments but as much as they wanted to be together, Christian must adhere to his duty as the prince and eventually, king. As far as royal romance goes, this is pretty much spot on (royal-commoner love affair) and the angst and drama that comes with it. This was a light, quick and entertaining read for me and will recommend for lovers of this trope/ genre.

I started reading the book, but was not drawn in & decided not to continue reading. Thank you for the opportunity to review this book, but it unfortunately just didn't work for me to continue with it.

This was just okay for me. I had trouble getting into this one. It felt like most of the dialogue happened in the characters thoughts instead of between the H and h. Speaking of their thoughts, the constant "how difficult a relationship would be" got annoying after a while. I get that romance novels can have insta-love. I don't mind it if it's done right, but this one just didn't hit the mark for me. The main characters barely have any interaction and then after 4 whole weeks, Christian is willing to upend the whole country to be with Mallory? It was just hard to suspend belief to that extent. I usually love royal romances, but this one wasn't a favorite.

Royal stories are a favourite of mine not just to write but also to read there's just something about getting lost in that world and this book was no exception. I thoroughly enjoyed this.

This was a fantastic ending to a amazing, fun series that was an absolute joy to read. Kinda sad that it is over, wish there was more. Maybe the royal babies get their stories? Hope author does re-visit these characters in the future. Christi Barth absolutely killed it with Tempting the Prince. I cant word how fantastic this book is. Its sweet, its sexy, its heartwarming, it hits you in the feels, its so well written you end up devouring it because how in the actual heck could anyone expect you to be able to put it down. So get in your favourite chair, grab a glass of wine or bottle (lol) and some snacks and get to devouring this amazing book and series. Happy reading everyone!!

Love and duty cross paths & butt heads in this read. Can they coexist?

Christian, Crown Prince of Moncriano has been preparing for the throne all his life, but lately, it's been way too hard. A breath of fresh air in the form of his long-lost sister's not-sister gives him the break he didn't know he needed and the love he'd always wanted.

Mallory Wishner never dreamed that the prince would ever be attracted to her, much less fall for her. But in a deeply traditional country, and one where outsiders are generally mistrusted, Mallory realises that her happiness could very well have an expiration date.

I enjoyed the book. Some parts made me laugh, some made me smile deeply, and other parts were just so sweet. This would make a pretty good movie. And like I recommend that you read it, I'd tell you to watch it, too!

I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.

Tempting the Prince is the third book in the Sexy Misadventures of the Royals. I honestly think that reading this series in order makes the books better. It’s been a great series and I’m glad I found this author and got the opportunity to read them. The book was fast-paced and attention-grabbing. The characters were charming and realistic. The plot was fun and light. The witty banter was hilarious, and you couldn’t help but fall in love with the characters.

I wasn't aware that this was a part of a series but that didn't stop me from enjoying it any less. I enjoyed the romance between the characters and longed for more after I finished.

This is the third book in a series and it is highly recommended that you read these in order since they build on each other.

This is the story of Christian, the crown prince and Mallory, the best friend/sister of the lost princess. Their story has been building for the past few books and this did not disappoint. Their story is sweet and fiery, and it was a satisfying conclusion to the series. I definitely recommend these to all romance novel fans.

I received a copy of this book to review from Netgalley to review. Thank you for the opportunity.
I really enjoyed this book! It was a fun and light-hearted read, perfect for any fans of royalty. It wasn't afraid to poke fun at itself and at the usual tropes seen in similar novels. I found this book to be a great pick me up and a welcome distractions from the stresses of the modern world.
The characters are amusing with good heart, allowing the reader to join the world of the book, feeling amongst friends. I had not read the previous books in the trilogy and this book did contain some spoilers from the previous books, however, it contained its own stand alone story. I liked the connections between past MC's and this book and I would enjoy reading the previous stories in the series.
I really liked Mallory and Christian as characters in their own right as well as a couple. This book has plenty of steamy moments alongside sweet ones and a fair share of funny moments.
I would definitely recommend this book to any fans of royal romances or just anyone looking for a sweet romance pick me up. Happy reading!

I enjoyed the first novel in this series, and somehow missed the second. The third (this book) was my favorite of the two I read. Who doesn't love a good royalty-commoner trope?

This wasn’t one of my favorite books by Christi Barth, I’m sorry to say. It is the last in a trilogy of connected stories, which had a lot to do with it. The writing was fine, and I found myself reading through the book just fine. What bothered me were all the many references to people and events that I had no clue about. If I had read the previous two books I’m sure it would have been much clearer, but since I hadn’t I was a bit at sea. I also found the notion of the two main characters starting a serious relationship after knowing each other such a short time to be a little unbelievable. Yes, they may have had a great connection, but considering the guy is set to be the next king and she’s an American, it seems that there should have been a lot more consideration to what a relationship between them would mean. And I was so tired of hearing about how hard a relationship between them would be, how impossible it seemed. Geesh. It was repeated over and over. And something that happened in the midst of the story also bothered me quite a bit. (SLIGHT SPOILER) The two main characters are out at a festival, their first time taking their relationship public. The heroine, Mallory, accidentally kills a white peacock, the emblem of the country. I found it really distasteful to use an animal’s death like that. At the very least the author could have instead said the animal was badly hurt. It’s a personal thing, but it really did bother me. (END SPOILER) I think this book would have made a much better novella, as a way to wrap up the series. It seemed there was just too much angst over the relationship repeated again and again.
Note: I received a copy of this book from the publisher in return for an honest review.

Tempting the Prince by Christi Barth is the third book in the Sexy Misadventures of Royals series. Who wouldn't love a book from a series with that title? I didn't realize going in that it was from an established series, but it functions as a stand-alone book as well. You'll just miss a few of the references and established storylines.

Leads Christian and Mallory have strong chemistry, and it's fun to see how their relationship evolves. I'd definitely read other books in the series.

Thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book. All thoughts are my own.
