This was a mix of short stories, and, like most people, I always have favorites in a book of short stories, and some that I didn't connect with. However, with this book, I didn't really connect to any. They weren't bad, but they just weren't really remarkable.

A mix of stories, not that long but what a collection. Stories across cultures, time, race, age and other's, almost 50 of them. While I would not go so far to mention that each and every one was excellent, there were many which brought out the quality writing and which I enjoyed. 'The Thirty-Year Rule' and 'What's A Parent To Do?' are two of the ones which i personally liked in this series.
Overall I would recommended this book asking the readers to keep an open mind, there definitely would be a couple of stories which would make you reflect more on the content and context.

I picked this up because I'm participating in the #buzzwordreadathon (buzzword being "night"). read the first 2 short stories of this book , and it just wasn't for me. I wasn't ready for something so dark. The book might change tones, but I wasn't willing to go any further.
