A good varied selection of erotic short stories for women. There should be something for everyone in there. All well written and with some more romantic than sensual. Probably could have added a few more to make the book a bit longer, but overall very good.
This is a book filled with various erotica short stories. It's kind of hard to rate a book of short stories, since every story is different. Overall, I only enjoyed two or three stories. Which is why I only gave it 1 star.
I received a copy of this from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. It's not what I typically read but since Avon keeps refusing me more romantic options, I decided to give it a go. I think it is rather hard to rate a short story anthology because it's bound to be rather heterogeneous. I will say that it is varied enough and that I did enjoy some of the stories (they are different enough that it's hard for all of them to be everyone's cup of tea) and I think that is the whole point of a 'best of'. If you are looking to see what kind of erotica tickles your pickle, this one is for you.
The fun thing about these collections is the variety. This particular set revolves around the notion of adventure and, although they share this common theme, what each author came up with is very different. rekindling marriage, to magical realism to historical fiction.

I really enjoyed this collection.
Of course, I have my favourites and so I will discuss my top 3.
Katrina Jackson is an amazing erotic storyteller and so I was very pleased that she was included in this volume. "Easy Ride" was excellent.
I also loved Elia Winters contribution to this. Her f/f pairing in "Sweater Weather" was the only one in this book and I do hope that the next volume will include more queer pairings.
Brit Ingram's story "Cooling Off" did the exact opposite which was the intention.
Special mention also to Alexis Wilder's "The Instruction Manual", Mia Hopkins' "The Eighth Wonder", Abuja Varghese's "The Conference" and Margot Pierce's "Calyx"
Almost all the stories appealed to me in some way but i love truly loved the first three I mentioned and there was only ONE that really did nothing for me.
All in all it was a hot pleasant read.
I enjoyed most of the stories in this ARC I received from Netgalley. They were short and to the point, but some of them were more romance than erotica, in my opinion.
I liked this collection of stories as they are very varied and so there is something for everyone and it’s not full of the usual stories which seem to be written by men assuming what women want from a naughty book
I really enjoyed this collection of stories. It was definitely a group of steamy stories and it had my interest throughout. All the stories were very well written and I would recommend this book if you enjoy erotica.
Hmmm sexy steamy romance story with a lot of chemistry and very diverse characters?
Sign me up!
I loved every single one of them and many times I had to put down the book as they are erotica indeed.
I need the full stories now and hope to read them all one day.
this is a great anthology. There were only 2 stories I didn't like. There were several stories that I had characters I would love to see in full length books- new year's chance, inked on my skin, the conference, sweater weather, & calyx.
This book is a hot, steamy, delicious assortment of stories from all walks of life! I enjoyed the fact that most of the stories were about more mature women that have been around the block once or twice! It is a quick and fast read ...I managed to finish it in one sitting! There were some stories that were more memorable than others ...but the theme in most of them were women found themselves in a totally unpredictable situation where they could explore a side of their sexuality that was not open to them ever before or had became dormant. I found that quite refreshing! I would give this book a solid 4-1/4 stars!
I would like to thank the author, the publisher and NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book in return for an honest and unbiased review

This book contains 20 separate short stories written from the perspective of the women in the stories.
The stories vary between present day and a more historical time, most having a current timeline.
Most of the stories were enjoyable, a few were a little less than what I find interesting but to each their own.
It's a fairly quick read, each chapter its own story so it's easy to put down and come back to.
Clearly from the title, this book is for adults and is specifically short story erotica without much of a storyline.
I gave 4 stars because there were a few cringy scenes that were just a bit too much. Otherwise I enjoyed it!
Well, this is a fun, exciting, SPICY collection of short erotic stories! If you have read any of the previous books in this series, you'll know this, but the stories span a wide variety of themes. I really like that this collection is from a multitude of authors. It changes the stories significantly, and really provides differentiation between each story. The book provides something for everyone, and if you are a reader of erotic fiction, you will enjoy this!
Like most short story collections this one was a mixed bag. But one thing is absolutely certain, the sex is sizzling. Seriously you’ll definitely need a cold shower after reading this book but if you’ve read the other volumes you shouldn’t be surprised. Like I said some stories were better than others and the storie I enjoyed the most were by Olivia Waite, Katrina Jackson, Mia Hopkins, Elia Winters, Zoey Castile and Saskia Vogel. Each volume has a theme and this volume is no different, this times it’s adventure literally and sexually. They’re stories of people trying new things and exploring their sexualities in ways they never imagined and the ride is definitely sexy and entertaining.
A steamy collection with great variety. My favorite was Adult Time. These sexy stories are quick and some are pretty unique. There is something for everyone. I hadn't read one of these collections in a few years and was pleasantly surprised to find they have become more about embracing sexuality. Definitely one fans of the genre don't want to miss.
This book is so sexy.. The perfect steamy read for all women. I highly recommend this book. It’s a great read.
Talk about steamy! Wow. I'm still a little shocked at some of these stories, in a good way! I loved the variety of characters, settings, and emotions! The length of these stories were perfect and to the point. Definitely enjoyed this book!
The fun thing about these collections is the variety. This particular set revolves around the notion of adventure and, although they share this common theme, what each author came up with is very different. They range from stories anchored in relatable realities like divorce, or rekindling marriage, to magical realism to historical fiction.
