Full of warmth, humour and heart, fans of best-selling author Rachel Dove are sure to be bowled over by her debut category romance for the Harlequin Mills and Boon Medical Romance line: Fighting for the Trauma Doc’s Heart.

Dr Michelle Forbes finds herself returning back to her job at St Marshall’s where she is the head of the trauma unit. Having just returned from overseas where she was a doctor on the frontline of a war zone, the past couple of months have been anything but easy having witnessed heart-breaking atrocities and endured losses that have sent her very close to the edge. Her job means everything to her and she is determined to get back into the swing of things and get her life back on track – until she walks through the doors of the hospital and finds somebody doing her job: Dr Jacob Peterson. Worse, it seems that now she is going to be in competition with him for her very own job!

Jacob needs this job and he is not about to let anybody stand in his way. With a young daughter to look after, the single dad has certainly got a lot on his plate and he is determined to get the job as head of the trauma unit and give his daughter everything he possibly can. Jacob will do anything to get this job – but having met his competition, keeping his mind on the job itself quickly proves far easier said than done!

Sparks begin to fly between the two of them from the very moment they clap eyes on one another and when professional rivalry gives way to some seriously flirty banter, Jacob and Michelle find themselves getting closer and closer. But with so much at stake and their own fears and insecurities, will Jacob and Michelle let this unexpected chance at happiness slip through their fingers?

With Fighting for the Trauma Doc’s Heart, Rachel Dove has penned an emotional, heartfelt and feel-good contemporary romance that readers will thoroughly enjoy. Sprinkled with charm, wit, drama and pathos, Rachel Dove’s Medical Romances feature strong, intelligent and relatable women and charismatic and handsome heroes readers are going to fall in love with. I also really loved the community feel in both of these books and the interactions which the heroes and heroines had with family, friends, colleagues and patients served to make the books feel even more real.

Rachel Dove adds another feather to her very accomplished hat with her Medical Romance debut and I am counting down the days until her next book!
