For some reason I started this and pended it and it got lost in my TBR pile until I found it this weekend and completed it. It's an interesting premise on a second chance romance with some allusions to BDSM. Londyn is looking for money to help her father so she decides to sell her self at auction at a high end club for 2 weeks. Who should end up buying her but her ex from whom she had parted under bitter circumstances. Is this the chance to mend old fences and create a new relationship?

"Corrupted" was not up to what I expect from a DARE novel, though it wasn't bad. I liked both main characters and the overall story was fine. 3.5 stars.

Londyn has to do what she has to to save her father' business and her future. But when she is 'bought' by the one man who hates her father most she is trapped for 2 weeks as his companion and possibly his pseudo-slave.
Carson was betrayed by her once and he fully expects her to betray him again. But when their feelings emerge and passions flare the line between love and hate fades.

This is a steamy and a bit of a heartbreaking story but filled with lots of heart.

Corrupted by Cathryn Fox is a steamy second chance, enemies to lovers, romance.  After a series of misunderstandings and manipulation breaks Cason and Londyn up in college. Now he is at the top of his game, and she is floundering, the complete opposite of their college life.  Corrupted provides all the drama, laughs, and steamy romance needed for a lovely romantic read.

A little maturity goes a long way toward helping Cason and Londyn move beyond the mistakes of their past and embrace a new future. Eventually, that is. First, they have to navigate the mistrust and hurt feelings that have kept them apart for so long.

I loved the theme of emotional safety that they found in each other, and the encouragement they had for each other's dreams. The scenes of Londyn developing more confidence as she finds career fulfillment are balanced nicely by Cason's softening heart, even against his better judgment.

These two really do bring out the best in each other, and the grand gesture was exactly perfect to lead in to a wonderful HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
