This was a cute and quick illustrated read about twins who are both different and the same. The bright colors and simple illustrations would be perfect for capturing a young child’s attention.

This book is a wonderful introduction to similarities and differences for very young children. The two characters are cute, and through the two different sides of the book, we get to see exactly how similar and different two people can be, even if they look exactly the same! Recommended for very young preschool-aged children.

This must be a board book. It points out all the ways a set of twins are the same and at the back of the galley is an ad for Mia and Molly Different. It’s a simple book, but not very fascinating. I think toddlers could enjoy it, but it seems more like a lesson book rather than a fun to read book.

Mia and Molly are twins. Does that make them same? We connect to others when we are the same but we learn so much when we are different. Mia and Molly have many things that they have in common being twins but they also have many different things that are different. Both are ok. You and your toddler will celebrate both sameness and differences together. The illustrations are lovely and one that your child will gravitate towards.

A special thank you to Clavis Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.

I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

Mia and Molly is a really cute children's book that teaches children about similarities and differences.
The first part of this book is about similarities and the second part is about differences.
Mia and Molly are identical twins but children will learn that they may look the same but they are both very different.

I really enjoyed this book but it may have worked better if the two parts of the book were mixed together, such as Mia and Molly have the same red potties but Mia likes reading and Molly likes playing with a ball. That way children can see much clearer the differences.

This was a really sweet little book that had a lovely flow to it and some great illustrations

Mia and Molly are twins – the first part of the book is about what they have in common, the second part is about their different likes and dislikes and their differences

I really enjoyed the story and thought that it was a fun read all about being who you want to be, and dressing how you want too, you might look the same but everyone is different and unique in their own way – this is one that will appeal to twins and little girls

It is 4 stars from me for this one – a fun story with some lovely images

A sweet story, beautifully-illustrated. Two little girls, Mia and Molly, are twins. The first part of the book is about what they have in common. The second part of the book features their different interest and ilkes. For twins, the siblings of twins, and all little girls who like adorable picture books. Five stars.

It was a cute book, but kind of underwhelming. I liked how it taught similarities and differences, and that it's ok to be your own person.

Mia and Molly: The Same and Different // by Mylo Freeman

I love the idea of this book, especially in the current climate. It is important to understand that we are all similar enough to love one another, yet that there are differences about us that we need to learn to understand. For this message alone, I think this book is an easy way to introduce that subject to young readers. But I do wish it was executed differently. This book pretty much reads like two completely separate books, which to me makes it harder to connect the two themes. I wish they were mixed together more to show that the girls are different in some ways but the same in others at the same time. The illustrations though are very cute and super colorful, which should help keep young kids engaged.

I was excited to see a book about twins. I was especially excited to see it about twins with a focus on what is shared and what can be different. This is definitely for the toddler aged crowd. I liked the two books in one (one about similarities one about differences) and the colors are bright and happy. The art wasn’t my favorite style and the story/ art was fine but nothing special. Not the slam dunk I was hoping for, but cute enough.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for an ARC in exchange for an honest review!

Loved this adorable story. Mia and Molly are identical twins. First we start with their similarities and then differences. A wonderful story for young ones to learn about similarities and differences. The illustrations were great. I enjoyed all the colors and feel it will keep a kids attention.

Thanks to netgalley, Mylo Freeman and Clavis Publishing for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I really thought there would be more differences. There's only one difference at the end, and the rest are how they're the same. The illustrations are really adorable and bright, but I feel like there could've been more emphasis on differences.

This is a very simple, cutely illustrated book for toddlers.  Young children will find out that Mia and Molly are the same in many ways and that they also are different in some ways.  Little ones will enjoy seeing what Molly and Mia do over the course of the day in this sweet book.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title in exchange for an honest review.

Found this an enjoyable book with easy to ready text, bold vibrant pictures featuring vibrant diverse characters and simple themes that the target audience would not only relate but remember. This is a good starter book to introduce the topic of twins to a small child. I also think this is a good book for a young reader learning to read independently.

I requested and received an e-ARC of this book from Mylo Freeman and Clavis Publishing through NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion.

This was a cute flip book with one book showing you all the ways twins can be similar and the other book showing all the ways they can be different. The illustrations are very bright and colourful which will keep little ones engaged. This would make a great gift for parents of twins.
