4/5 ⭐️ Such a cute book 🥰 reminded me a lot of Anna and the French kiss mixed with dance academy and I was obsessed with both of those so I think that’s why I loved it so much

Pretty ,I have what you would expect based on the target audience. A light, easy read with very little character depth. Overall just a good mindless summer read if that’s what you need at the moment.

I started reading the book, but was not drawn in & decided not to continue reading. Thank you for the opportunity to review this book, but it unfortunately just didn't work for me to continue with it.

I did not care for this book. I love France and Paris and I was looking forward to a cute little romance with an actual plot. The actual plot was there but I did not connect with any of the characters, ultimately.

I had a hard time connecting with the writing and struggled to get through this one, but it is a light, fun read.

This was such a fun read. I loved the development of Mia and the relationships with Louis, Lucy and Anouk, her aunts, and especially how her relationship with Audrey changed. This was a cute, fun book, with memorable characters, a fun plot, and the first dance book in a while that I've read where the characters actually love dancing.

Kisses and Croissants is a super cute and adorable young adult contemporary romance book. It's exactly the book I was expecting and I'm glad I was given the chance to read it.

The characters in this book are really fun and are the perfect characters for a cute YA contemporary. I loved Mia — she's an entertaining main character and I enjoyed following her around Paris and throughout her ballet program. Mia is determined and passionate, something that jumps through the pages and entertains the reader the whole way through.

I love reading books set in different countries and I thoroughly enjoyed the Paris setting. Anne-Sophie Jouhanneau is so clear in her descriptiosn and it made me feel like I was back in Paris visiting alongside Mia. I loved seeing familiar places that I've visited and I think Anne-Sophie Jouhanneau did a really great job of adding the sites into her book.

Overall, I think Kisses and Croissants is a cute YA contemporary romance. It's full of swoon-worthy moments and makes for a perfect read for those wanting something lighthearted and wanting to travel through words.

This cheesy contemporary YA is a nice little get away when you need a little book trip. While you can tell it’s written for a younger audience, insert mood swing here, it’s still cute and a nice little read.

I found this to be an enjoyable read, keeping me on my toes throughout. The storyline was written well and flowed seamlessly. I look forward to reading more by this author!

DNF- I read 50% of this book, but I just couldn’t finish it. Mia’s need to hide her relationship and basically everything about herself made me want to stop reading. I loved all of the culture and the setting that the author brought to life in the book and I really liked Mia’s dedication to dancing and her dreams. Mia’s obsession with keeping all of the secrets though made me loose interest in finishing it.

I think I’m just getting too old for the YA romance genre but.. this was just so boring and cringey and predictable (there was ONE moment I wasn’t expecting and that’s about it). Unless you LOVE teen romances that are insta-love, there are better YA books out there. However, the cover is SO CUTE.

I loved this book! This YA romance was so cute and well written. I enjoyed reading it around the Holidays to help get me into the spirit of ballet and now I want to go see all of the Christmas ballets! Mia makes her way to Paris for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to jump-start her career as a ballerina... but just when she thinks she has it all in the bag, things don't seem to go to plan.

A great story of how we can't control everything we think we can in life, and how things still seem to work out in the end!

Mamma mia Mia! This book took me in a rollercoaster of joy and many other emotions including cravings for French food. It is a lovely cute romance but the main attraction is Mia's dedication and passion towards her dream. To me that's really inspiring.

If you love cute YA romance, Paris and ballet, this is the book for you. You can definitely tell the writing is geared towards the younger audience but it doesn't take away from the story. I love the character development Mia had.

Definitely recommending this one to friends.

Nice and fluffy romance for teens wishing they could travel. Loved the descriptions of ballet, food, and Paris. If you have a teen looking to escape for a little while, this is the perfect read.

What didn’t I love!? Usually, I’m pretty picky when it comes to my YA romance... but this blew me away. It had the perfect amount of cheese — or fromage, if you will 🧀 — and I simply devoured it. Like, read it in one sitting. It had everything you can hope for from a perfect lil YA romance: a dreamy setting, a swoony love interest, a rival who may or may not ruin the summer, a sprinkling of sports underdog story vibes... plus the quest to find out if her ancestor really was painted by Degas. Dig in to this book and prepare to be swept away by Louis as he takes Mia all around Paris on his Vespa. Seriously, you won’t regret it. 😍

Such a fun YA read that will take you to Paris & fall in love! I'm such a fan of a sweet romance just like this one & loved how Mia was able to embrace her passion of ballet. This is a book that will most definitely make you smile & warm your heart with all its awwww moments.
