Slow start but the. It really hits you with the action. As it usually is with Angels and demons in the mix.

Maree is just your average Australian teenager with a propensity for drawing angels. When she decides to steal her favourite painting her life changes completely as she becomes a Divine. When her love interest Jason is the target of daemons she and her Divine partner along with a few otherworldly characters fight to protect him and lead him to his destiny.
This was an entertaining read with a storyline that I had not read before. Maree, Jason and Alanar were the main characters and although were interesting I did not really feel that any one of them stood out strongly. There was a fair bit of world building which was good in that you could imagine what the worlds look like but unfortunately it still lacked the depth I was expecting. Maybe it was that I was expecting too much given that it was more geared towards children than adults.
