This did not love up to my expectations. The story fell flat. The characters were bland and the romance was lukewarm.

I really enjoyed this story of change, self-exploration, and adventure when Rosie decides to leave it all behind and hits the road with Poppy her traveling tea shop. Along the way Rosie teams up with other Food truck owners and finds true friendships and the possibility of true love

Rosie’s husband leaves her for another woman. She decides to ditch her life as a chef in London, buys a food van to use as a traveling Tea Shop, and hits the road to explore the UK. Along the way she befriends Aria who owns a traveling bookstore, becomes pen pals with Oliver, and meets the buff vegan chef Max. Rosie not only makes new friends, but learns to let loose and discover who she really is.

This is such a feel-good book! I enjoyed the characters, especially Rosie. It was fun to watch Rosie grow into her new lifestyle and discover who she really is. The love story between Rosie and Max is quite charming. They make quite the pair because they are total opposites but work well together. This is the perfect book for love story fans!

So cute! Love the cover, too!

Description
The trip of a lifetime!
Rosie Lewis has her life together.

A swanky job as a Michelin-Starred Sous Chef, a loving husband and future children scheduled for an exact date.

That’s until she comes home one day to find her husband’s pre-packed bag and a confession that he's had an affair.

Heartbroken and devastated, Rosie drowns her sorrows in a glass (or three) of wine, only to discover the following morning that she has spontaneously invested in a bright pink campervan to facilitate her grand plans to travel the country.

Now, Rosie is about to embark on the trip of a lifetime, and the chance to change her life! With Poppy, her new-found travelling tea shop in tow, nothing could go wrong, could it…?

A laugh-out-loud novel of love, friendship and adventure! Perfect for fans of Debbie Johnson and Holly Martin.

This was such a cute and lighthearted story. It's a perfect example of how when something in life doesn't go as planned or life throws you a curve ball, you can take that as an opportunity to go do something you've always wanted to do but were being held back for some reason.

I love the characters and the story arc. After reading this I immediately went to see if there was a second book and was happy to see there's a book about Aria, the book seller. This book lets me live my dream life vicariously through these characters and it's a fun ride!

If you're looking for a lighthearted, fun, light romance read, this is your book. If you're looking for something with more depth or a heavy steamy romance book, this most likely won't be your cup of tea.

Thank you NetGalley and HQ Digital for the Digital ARC.

When Rosie's life implodes she is forced to think outside of her carefully constructed, organized life plans. Having to start over wasn't on her to-do list. Hoping to drown her sorrows in a nice bottle of wine Rosie wakes the next morning to discover she is now the proud owner of a bright pink camper having declared to its previous owner the night before her plans to set out on the road with her traveling tea shop. Now that all her savings were invested in the van and the deadline of her imminent eviction looming, Rosie begins to plan her first adventure in Poppy hoping that she hasn't just made the biggest mistake of her life. Though I found Rosie's story a sweet one this book dragged a bit for me. The plot was a bit repetitive and felt the love interest was a bit forced and unnatural. I really enjoyed another of Raisin's titles but this one fell a little short for me. Thank you to NetGalley and Harper for a copy in exchange for an honest review.

This book goes into my "cute-but-wouldn't-read-another" category. It was a very slow read for me and the jumps between times often caught me off guard. There were moments where I would tab to the next page and have to go back and forth before realizing that we had jumped to another day or another week even. This could have been because of the formatting in the eBook!

Rosie was a very relatable character and I found myself comparing her thought process to my own, her situations to my own, and overall thinking about how I would probably react similarly to her in many situations! It was nice to see a "worrier" be put into challenging situations and come out on the other side stronger and with a new view of her situation.

Overall the love story came a bit out of nowhere at the end, and didn't feel fully flushed out for the main character.

This was a sweet and funny book. Rosie looks like she has the perfect life until she walks in on her husband packing to leave her for another woman. Like any depressed ex wife to be, she drowns her sorrows that night. Unfortunately, she wakes up with no savings and finds herself the proud owner of a hot pink RV named Poppy!

She drives Poppy around as a pop up tea shop, and joins forces with Aria, who has a traveling bookshop. Along the way Rosie finds the self esteem and determination she thought she lost.
I liked this book a lot, Rosie’s journey was entertaining even though she had some hard times.
4 stars.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I always enjoy this author's books. They are a great pick me up.
Rosie Lewis is a planner, so much so that she has life planned out down to the last detail.
She just knows her perfect job is waiting, her perfect adoring husband and children, well of course children and this will all happen by an exact date.
What this planner doesn't seem to realize is there are no absolutes in life and what you expect to happen is the least likely thing to happen.
Finding out your husband has been cheating and seeing his travelling bag packed and ready to go sure isn't what she has planned on but hey she has just the way to drown her sorrows, a glass or three of wine.
Coming out of the fog the next morning she realizes she has bought a pink campervan and here she goes again with more plans. This time it's to travel the country on the trip of a lifetime with her van that has turned into a travelling tea shop. Nothing could possibly go wrong this time could it? So much fun and just a feel good book.

I absolutely loved this book. Rosie think she has a picture perfect life, only to discover her husband is leaving her for another woman. When she drinks her sorrow away, she ends up drunk investing a bright pink camper, nicknamed "poppy". I laughed out loud more than once and rooted for Rosie from page one. SO GOOD!!!!

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Harper 360 for my copy of Rosie's Travelling Tea Shop by Rebecca Raisin in exchange for an honest review. It published February 16, 2021.
This was my first book by Rebecca Raisin, and it definitely won't be my last! I adore her style of writing, and that she broaches really tough subjects without making a spectacle of them, or having to take it to an R-rated, or even a triggering level. What I mean by that is that some stories feel more like a soap-opera with an R-rating for dramatic effect, and page count. This was gentle, and I really appreciated it.
I also fell in love with the characters, and the nomadic lifestyle of living and working in vans. What a cool thing, and to have it in a story is that much more interesting. I loved the descriptions of their shops, and how their themes came to be fleshed out.
I am already reading the next installment in this series, because I just can't get enough!

Rosie has her life set on course. She is a featured sous chef in a highly acclaimed restraunt. She has a loving husband. Or does she. She arrives home after a long day on the prep line only to find out that her husband is leaving her. He has been having an affair.

That night while she is drowsing her sorrows in wine she decides she needs to reinvent herself. Rosie also decides that she needs to get out of town. Her world is way too small. It will not help that her husband is also a sous chef. She knows the gossip will run rampant. Rosie learns that one should never surf the internet when under the influence of acholic beverages when she purchases sight unseen a roving van. She has come up with a plan she is going to embrace the roving life and travel in a mobile tea shop.

When she is ready to hit the road she meets many friendly helpful people who offer support every step of the way, As tie goes on Rosie settles into the wandering life and begins to heal. She is also starting to think she is ready for romance when she has two men looking to know her better.

This si a fun filled romantic romp. Beach reading is coming up. This would be a perfect fit.
