I will not be giving a review on this book now that you have honored my request. A bit too late as I have already bought the book on August 3rd. At this point I haven't read the book yet and may not. Ellie and Thomas, and Sophie and Sam. Two couples with an intertwined history. Ellie and Thomas met while he was stationed in England during WWII. They married and she moved to Newfoundland, where Thomas was born. Sophie and Sam meet through circumstances beyond their control, not realizing they had strong ties in their history. A nice read, well written, and thoughtful plot.
