Quickly I realized this book was not for me. I had a really tough time following this story and there was too much physical abuse for me to go on. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for this complimentary book. All opinions expressed are my own.

A beautifully written story on the cruelty inflicted on some of the orphans sent outside the cities for safety. These girls suffered unbearable pain and depravity for years. Death and heartache overshadow them. Freedom comes at a cost but in the end, there is love and love erases all the overwhelming sadness that threatens to destroy our faith in humanity.

Omg what can i say brilliant book very emotional. Total engrossed in this book and would recommend to everyone
