A second chance with so much heart and joy and healing laughter. This is a sweetly sexy, heartwarming and emotional journey filled with engaging charters, witty dialog, exciting twists and thrilling passion.
I really loved this series by Annie Rains. She knows how to write good small town romance. Annie has a been a guest of the show multiple times and her books have been mentioned as go-to small; romance recommendations.
Thank you for the advanced copy of this book. My reviews can be read on my GoodReads account here: https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/1335387-kelly
Loved this one! Give me all the romances with puppies!!
In this romantic adventure, anything is paws-ible when a single shop owner makes a connection with her new vet.
Boutique owner Sophie Daniels certainly isn't looking to adopt a dog the day veterinarian Chase Lewis convinces her to take in Comet. A rambunctious puppy with a broken leg may not be the best choice for a first-time pet owner. And house calls from the handsome doctor -- her high school sweetheart who's just moved back to Sweetwater Springs -- may not be the best choice for her heart either.
Chase has come home to help his nephew but finds that he's forgotten just how much he enjoys small-town life. However, sooner or later, he's going to have to face the past and his unresolved feelings for Sophie. Now that Comet needs both their help, Chase is going to let the four-legged matchmaker work his canine magic. Then Chase will prove to Sophie that first love is even better the second time around.
I always read and review Annie Rains as soon as I get my hands on a copy. I always review on other platforms but always forget to review here. This book of course was awesome!

Another great read by Annie Rains. As a author I don't even have to read the back of the book I just buy it. As Sophie Daniels and Chase Lewis reconnect as Sophie bumps a puppy and takes him to vet who is her old high school boyfriend who has just moved back to town. They will confront there past. Chase is there to help his family. He doesn't believe he can see a future with Sophie as he fears she won't let him back into her life as more than a friend. Will something change ? Will Sophie allow him in ? Read this great book and find out the answers. Thank you Netgally for allowing me to read and review this book.
This author writes the best small-town journeys! This 2nd chance romance will have you swooning and hoping these two get that 2nd chance. As always when fur babies are involved it is just better.
The feels were here and there's good depth to convey it all. An HEA and happy smiles for Chase and Sophie, and me! A lot of cameos, but still a stand alone in this series.
Reunited on Dragonfly Lane is a very sweet second chance story set in a great small town, with a nice cast of side characters that enhance its charm. The main characters are both likeable and wonderful, and their backstory has the right mix of conflict, and a happily ever after that was very satisfying. It is a quick read and I recommend it.
When I think of romance, I think of books just like this one, that gives all the feels and satisfies every romance junkies' heart. This is a perfect books to snuggle up with on any day.
I put off reading this one because I didn't want this series to end. Annie is just so delightful and I already miss Sweetwater Springs.

Reunited on Dragonfly Lane by Annie Rains is the seventh book in the Sweetwater Springs series. I have not read the previous books in the series, but I was easily able to jump right into this one and read it as a standalone!
I'll be the first to admit that I am a sucker for books that feature dogs on the cover...how can I resist!
This was a sweet romance, set in a town filled with likeable characters. Obviously, Comet (the puppy) plays a huge part in the romance, so that made it more fun!
This was an enjoyable read with a great storyline. I look forward to reading the previous books in the series, as well as other books by the author.
I'm so grateful to Annie Rains, Forever (Grand Central Publishing), and NetGalley for providing me with a free copy of this ARC ebook in exchange for my honest review.
I always go into reading Annie Rains so badly wanting to love her books. I struggle with closed door romance a lot of the time and I've had mixed results with this series from her. Unfortunately the final book in the series did not grab me. I found myself not feeling engaged with the characters and decided to DNF.
Can’t believe this is the last Sweetwater Springs book. I’m happy I got to read Sophie and Chase’s story. While I struggled with their very black and white perspective at times, it was great to see them each reach a gray area and accept each other and themselves. I look forward to more Annie Rains books in the future!
Sophie is a Boutique owner that helps many who come through her doors. When she is asked by her ex who is a local veterinarian Chase to foster the dog he has in his care that is injured she decides to help out, she is the one that accidently injure it. But that comes with Chase and dealing with past problems and its easy to fall for one another while they are working together but there are things they need to work on if they want something more then what they currently have.
I enjoyed this book. It was just such a nice contemporary romance. I liked getting to know the characters. Sophie was dealing with a lot after her injury and couldn't do the things she once loved and Sophie kinda felt Chase was partially to blame. While he gets to go off and do what they used to love she has a hard time getting though the day when theres too much walking involved so she has to make sure to do yoga. But now that theres been some time they are older and things are different so they are testing boundaries and seeing if there can be something more. There are other little things that go on in this book that kept this book interesting and overall I really enjoyed reading it.
My go to book always has a dog in it I swear! This sweet book had all the great elements in it like: sweet romance, a lovable dog, family ties, and a great best friend character. The book focuses on the struggle boutique owner Sophie faces with the aftermath of an accident she had when she was 18. Veterinarian Chase is struggling with his brother’s criminal past and the responsibility of stepping up for his young nephew and ex sister in law. Mix in Chase and Sophie’s past romantic history!
Sophie’s accident sounded so scary, but I was kind of hoping there would be more on that scene, but then again I’m glad because I’ve never been climbing and I want to keep that option open. I think the feelings she felt during the accident were relayed through her actions and how that held her back from what she really wanted in life. It was nice to see that growth from Sophie as well. I love her idea of the Fairy Godmother Closet in her boutique too. Such a great way to help those in need for sure!
I kept going back and forth on how I felt about Chase as a character. I do however admire him for watching sunrises and working out rigorously! That takes a lot of discipline. In the end, I was happy with how his character grew.
This was a such a heartfelt read and I’m grateful for the opportunity to review it! Thank you Forever & NetGalley.
My Kindle broke and I had to factory reset it and lost all of my Net Galleys, so I wasn't able to complete my read/review of Reunited on Dragonfly Lane.
The archive date had already passed and I wasn't able to re-download it. I'll be catching this book from my local library.
I love Annie’s books!! They always leave me with such a happy feeling! I highly recommend all her books! I especially love her Christmas stories!
I think that Annie Rains can do no wrong. Every book she reads I have loved. This is the final book in the Sweetwater Springs series. Although I am sad to see this series end, I look forward to her new series, Somerset Lake coming in May. I received this book from Netgalley and the publisher; this review is soully my thoughts and words.
This is the 7th book in the Sweetwater Springs series, and the final one. Each book is a standalone novel, so you don't need to have read the previous books to enjoy this one; however, I do like seeing characters from previous books show up, and seeing their interactions with each other. Sophie and Chase were high school sweethearts, but a near fatal accident put a rift between them that they just couldn't mend, and Sophie didn't want to at the time. Chase returns to Sweetwater Springs to take over a veterinary practice, and both Sophie are forced to deal with their past. Can they be friends, or even something more, after all of the years that have passed?
This was a nice romance, and I am sad to see the Sweetwater Springs series come to a close. I am looking forward to seeing what comes next, though!
I received a copy of this book tgrough NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
