This was another great addition to the OP series. A lot of people are complaining that Saitama isn't in this volume and I don't see that as a problem. Its a nice touch to see how the Hero Association handles the situation and being able to see what the other hero's are capable of. I myself did not like the Flashy Flash until this volume. You get to see how badass he really is and why he is a Class-S hero. This volume shows you a side of the other hero's we haven't seen yet like Child Emperor who has a plethora of badass and funny gadgets at his disposal. So to all those cry baby's wipe your tears away and don't worry Saitama will come back sorry you can't handle character development and depth to the story.
Thank you Netgalley for a digital copy in exchange for my honest review.

I have been following One Punch Man since volume 1. At first, I was really enjoying the series. Unfortunately, I'm starting to slowly get tired of it. To me, the plot seems rather repetitive and there isn't much character development. I know some people will continue to love this series, but it just isn't for me. I'm a strong believe in giving things up while I'm ahead, so I plan to leave it here and not read the next book.

Still no Saitama! He must be taking a nap or something. The quest to find and rescue Waganma continues, with the Class S heroes getting involved. There's a fight with Flashy Flash getting attacked by Tempest Wind and Hellfire Flame that has the makings of a great filler episode in the anime, and Child Emperor gets to show off a lot of his gadgets and his fighting prowess against Phoenix Man. Sooooo much fight-fight in this volume! Seriously, it's almost entirely fight scenes. The book ends just as the fight is getting good, and no Volume 22 till mid 2021, so that sucks. Final thought: I wanna see more of Atomic Samurai!

I miss Saitama (he isn't in this volume at all), but seeing the other heroes in action is certainly fun as well, even if Child Emperor is a bit of a brat.
