Funny because it is so true to life and the nature of cats! Anyone whose home is ruled by a feline will appreciate this.

Another cute adventure for the reporters of cat news. This is the prefect series for cat lovers and would please younger readers with the cats' antics. A definite buy for my library.

Elvis Puffs Out is another enjoyable and entertaining entry in this series. The art is wonderful and the humor is a winner.

I love this graphic novel series, I was so excited to see that there was another! The art style is great and I adore the cat's different personalities. I think the idea to create a graphic novel based on cat newscasters is absolutely hilarious.

I received an ARC of this book through NetGalley in exchange for my unbiased opinion.

I discovered Breaking Cat News on Facebook a year or two ago, and I quickly fell in love with Lupin, Elvis, Puck, and the gang. As soon as I saw this book, I had to get it!

I had not previously seen the story of how Beatrix came to join the gang, and I loved getting to know her story. Cat lovers will appreciate this comic about Georgia Dunn's actual family. The end of the book includes tidbits kids will enjoy: instructions on making cat puppets out of wooden spoons, paper dolls of the kitties of Breaking Cat News, and how to report the news. Such a cute comic strip for kids and adults alike!

Thank you to the publisher for giving me a free copy of this comic in exchange for an honest review!

I really enjoyed this comic. I really liked the fun colours and the characters were super fun to read about. I also thought the handwriting type of text was easy to read and a good format for the age group.
I would recommend this one to younger readers but honestly also people my age.

Elvis Puffs Out should appeal to the 4-5th grade student who enjoys quieter novels. Most of the humor in the book comes from viewing human events through the cat perspective. The novel is broken up into news reports, but sometimes I felt it hopped around too much to easily follow. The illustrations are cute and the handwritten text isn't difficult read.

So, I’d read a scattering of these comic strips when I happened to pick up a newspaper... I have to admit, when I got access to the galley for this collection and saw it was marketed to middle grade readers I was a touch surprised. I’d genuinely thought of the few strips I’d seen as being a sweet all ages comic if you love cats...
I’m writing this review sitting on my bed with one of our two cats beside me in the recently emptied laundry basket. It’s her happy place and she waits for you to empty it so she can jump in every single time. She’s 6 this year and she’s been doing that since she was a kitten. Now, if you just read that and said awww! this is a comic strip series you should read even if you’re far older than a middle grade reader, It’ll put a smile of your face.

Alright, I admit, I downloaded this comic because it talks about cat and I love cats so much. Here we are following purr-nalists reporting on the activites happening in the house and around. It was really fun to read. I enjoyed that format a lot and found it really funny to imagine my cat being a journalist. I liked the humour and the messages it conveys such as how parents have to let go of their children, or how when working together you can accomplish anything. This comic is supposed to be for middle-grade readers but I think everybody can read it without finding it too childish. Some stories, such as the cats being very punctual in the morning (and early ofc) were so accurate it made me laugh out loud. Finally, the art is adorable. It is really colourful and every kitty is different so even if you haven’t read the previous book, it is really easy to understand and follow the book.

It's a brave shtick in the end, to have the shenanigans of cats and their human owners presented by the cats themselves, as if they're news anchors and roving reporters. Coming to this series at the fourth opportunity, however, I felt it didn't work for me – it might have been better if I'd been guided into it gently through book one, but dropped in at the deep end here was a little too much. The artwork is a little too quick and easy for my taste, too.

Oh wow, this book is so freaking adorable, and also really funny. I'm sure it would be wonderful for its intended age group, but as an adult I adored it as well! The art is super cute, the stories are well-told (and at times weird as hell, in a very good way), and it's also laugh-out-loud funny at times, something I was NOT expecting from a cute children's cat comic. I'd never heard of this series before, but I'm ordering the earlier books asap now. What an unexpected delight! Thanks very much to NetGalley and the publisher.
