I requested this book, but was unable to download it prior to the archive date and therefore cannot leave my own review. However, from all the reviews I have read, it looks like a great book I would recommend to others and will be buying a copy for myself.
I wasn’t able to use the cookbook as much as I would’ve liked because the license expired before I was able to make most of the recipes.
From what I looked at before the license expired, the book was easy to navigate and had some decent recipes that I wanted to try.
I like it more than some of the other cookbooks that I’ve purchased. Some cookbooks over complicate their recipes but this cookbook seemed to have recipes for everyday people.
A lot of great information in this book regarding eating to fight inflammation. Detailed recipes, with weekly meal planning and meal prepping guides. Great photos.
I've been trying to clean up my diet in order to help combat my autoimmune disease. This book was great and had lots of healthy recipe options that I can't wait to try.
This comprehensive guide covers everything someone would be curious about in terms of the anti - inflammatory diet. The weekly plan is easy to follow with fantastic recipes. Would recommend highly.
I purchased this book after getting ARC. It has easy to follow and helpful recipes to include in your everyday diet. Would recommend to anyone that is working on cleaning up their eating habits.
As someone who has gone on anti-inflammatory diets in the past and someone who has been a patient of dietitians, I found this book extremely informative. It is part informative book and part cook book. It brings you through a multiple week meal plan with recipes (including what order to cook in to make the best use of idle time from one recipe into active for another). I think this would be a helpful book for anyone wanting to restart their gut a bit.
Don’t skip this part of the title “6 weekly plans and 80 recipes” OMG the best recipes I’ve seen in a LONG time. Okay let me tell you a little about the book before I get into the recipes.
The book has 10 chapters and you don’t even notice because the chapters are short and chapters 3 – 10 are filled with delicious food. The author is a registered dietitian nutritionist, I LOVE the fact that this book was written after Hultin help with clients dealing with pain, fatigue and autoimmune diseases. The one chapter in the book that blessed me was “Understanding Inflammation.” I never knew inflammation in my body could be the cause of my elevated blood pressure, wow. I also learned the focus of this read is knowing the food we eat everyday can fuel or calm inflammation. This is exactly why it is my plan to incorporate MORE fruit, vegetables, whole grains and beans and adding more of these spices into my diet ginger, turmeric, and garlic.
Some of the meal plans for the week were a little limited and didn't match food I enjoy, but I did find many recipes I liked. Eventhough I didn't use the weekly meal plans, I did get some good hints in how to make several different foods at once to prepare a week's worth of meals.
What a wonderful resource for getting inflammation down in the body. The recipes are creative and easy to prepare. Ingredients are easy to obtain and cleverly added together.
Loved it! This may be a diet meal prep book but the advantages of eating anti inflammatory foods will definitely benefit you. Not only does the author do all the work for you but gives great tips and tricks to cook a recipe that is amazing.
What did I like? This book has some fabulous recipes that look and sound amazing. From hummus to fish tacos there are some yumminess in your future. Book has its own schedule and meal prep with only anti inflammatory ingredients which make this a lovely book to have if you need to reduce inflammation in your body. A natural remedy to boost your immune system.
Would I recommend or buy? This was an amazing book with a serious purpose if your looking to help your immune system through foods. I would love a copy since I have an autoimmune disease. Fantastic recipes although I would love more pictures.
I received a complimentary copy to read. Four stars and a useful book.
This is EVERYTHING I want in a diet cookbook. To begin with I battle with IBS and was interested in this to see if it would help my problems. The beginning is a quick background before Ginger jumps right into the beautiful layout. She took the stress out of planning, shopping and cooking. She gave us everything in this book. Just flip to your week, cook the assigned foods on prep day and your week is solved. She even gave us that weeks shopping list for your ingredients. How wonderful is that?!
This is such a great book. It is filled with helpful tips on how to meal prep, as well as tips on how to properly store food so that it stays as fresh as possible. It also contains meal plans. And there are a lot of recipes that are both healthy and delicious and the best part is that the recipes contain ingredients that are easy to find.
Anti-Inflammatory Diet Meal Prep is an extremely handy cookbook that I will be referring to frequently. The introduction presents a scientific, yet concise easy to understand explanation of Inflammation and the role of diet in controlling it. I loved the meal plan presented that allows meals to be prepared ahead and saved for use as needed. The recipes are practical and sound delicious. When I look through a cookbook for new recipes, I do so with a shopping list in hand. I hardly had anything written while perusing these recipes as most of the ingredients are things already on my shopping list or in my pantry. Nutritionist Ginger Huntington has made it easy to plan and prepare healthy meals to aid I. Preventing and controlling Inflammatory Diseases.

The Anti-Inflammatory Diet Meal Prep Cookbook is full of over a hundred recipes to help mix up your daily lunch routine. The first half of the book provides 6 weeks of meal plans - recipes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Each week is given a food "rotation" so that you are not eating the same dinner every single night. After the weekly meal plans, more recipes are provided for 10+ recipes for each meal of the day. Every single recipe comes with storage tips to help keep your meal fresh and tasty. A big perk about the recipes is that they are all made with easy to access ingredients. My biggest complaint is a common one for a cookbook, that there are not very many photos that go along with the recipes.
