Great family bonds and relationships
It would be quite a TERRIFIC storyline for a movie.
Based on the age old , well known , Little Red Riding Hood and the BIG BAD WOLF story.
After a lot of DNFs this one was a SCARY but enjoyable, read it one go of a SAVIOR!

Thank you NetGalley and the OceanView publishing for sending me an E Arc in exchange for an honest review.
Paradox Lake... This is mainly told from the Rose's POV.
Rosie and her 12 year old daughter Anna head to Paradox Lake for three month's to get away. They are staying in this beautiful home right on the lake.
Anna isn't to thrilled about it.
They arrive to this small town out in the middle of nowhere.
Little do they know the horror that happened here back in 1986.
This was a really fast read. I finished in a day.
What I loved? I loved the writing. I loved the two main characters Rose and Anna.
What I disliked? About 87% of the way through it became clear what was happening!
(Don't want to give anything away) but it was pretty obvious.
Other then that it was great. Fast paced. Enjoyable read!
Thank you NetGalley Publisher and Author for this copy!
The story line was interesting. Had gore in all the right spots.
Has some tweecking to be done on where sentences stop and start into something else. Made it confusing to read in spots.
I liked the characters and it duo draw me in.
Got a little too much near the end boat scenes.
But the ending was a good one after all that.
Thanks to the Author, the publisher, and NetGalley for an early release of this book.
This book was so poorly written I skimmed through it just to get it done. There numerous typos, misspellings, and hackneyed phrases. A woman and her daughter spend time at an upstate NY lake and become victims of two local madmen. It was really bad.
A sculptor haunted by loss, takes a three month sabbatical with her twelve year old daughter to a lakeside home in upstate New York. At Paradox Lake she discovers that the house was once the site of unspeakable horror. While trying to bond with her daughter and concentrate on her art the past begins to intrude on their otherwise idyllic getaway.
This is one of those thrillers that you can't put down. I found myself flying through the pages. The lead character, single mother Rose Conley, is incredibly relatable. Life has dealt her some very harsh blows but she remains strong, loving. and protective. The description of the mother-daughter bond is accurate and sensitive. An outstanding thriller, genuinely terrifying. I highly recommend it.
